And it was $7.95 with a side of homemade hash browns that were also cooked 'just right'. An incredible meal that I plan to make a regular stop on my eating out rotation. This is a family restaurant that has been owned by two sisters for the last 15 years. And they both are terrific cooks, as is the other regular cook there. It's a true value priced small town place and the servings are generous. It's about a dozen miles north of Waverly. They also have daily 'supper specials' (see attached photo) - including broasted chicken on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 4:00 pm til closing. Five deserving stars. Don't miss this gem. Our server seemed to be on a world tour, with 15-20 minutes between visits to the table. To top it off, our group ordered four pizzas, but they arrived one at a time, spaced about 5-6 minutes apart. By the time the last pizza showed up, the first one was already halfway gone. Dining together shouldn't require synchronized patience and a stopwatch. Overall, a frustrating experience with food and service that fell well short of expectations.
