Joe did an excellent job handling a fairly serious bed bug problem brought in by one of our tenants. The issue was severe enough to require him to come out three times to make sure the job was properly completed, and each time I called him, he came back out, no complaints and no questions asked. One time he came by to spray when I wasn't home (with a temp door entry code), and he brought in a couple of very large packages that had been delivered and left at my front door without mention of it. Our experience with Joe was fantastic; he was honest, he helped turn our really rough situation around--which saved us from further potential monetary loss--and we recommend his services. read more

I had one visit, in September 2020, after a stellar recommendation from my neighbor. The owner, Joe, came, and he was very nice and personable. He walked my kitchen and bathrooms, and sprayed all areas. He mentioned that he was out of the gel that they use in conjunction with the spray. However, he was expecting it next week. He could bring it by when they received it. Cool. Joe told me any follow up visits wouldn't be a problem; they come with the service. All I would have to do is call, or text them. So far, so good. A few weeks pass, and we start noticing the bugs again. Not a problem; we obviously need the gel as well. Surely they have it by now I text an appointment request. It's scheduled almost 2 weeks later. Not ideal, but maybe they're busy.....It's a no call, no show! I text, call the next day. The office mgr, Lisa, texts back and apologizes. Someone will be there on Monday. (It was Friday.) Again, no call, no show! I text, call repeatedly for MONTHS. No one ever got back to me. Not once. My last text was January 11th, 2021. To this day, I haven't heard from anyone. I'm reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. Don't waste your money, or your time with them. By the way, I found an excellent pest control company; "C & C Pest Control"; right here on Yelp. Call them @ 323 464 1187, if you prefer excellent service. read more

WORST SERVICE!!!!!!! Do not use this company! Our house was sprayed and then we were given a receipt stating a 60 day guarantee. Days later our bug problem was back. I contacted Joe for him to come back out to the house but he didn't respond. It took 3 separate text messages to finally get a response. When he did respond, he said he would get back to me that night - NOPE. I didn't hear from him until I texted again days later. We scheduled a time and then he didn't show up. He rescheduled to another date and then DIDN'T SHOW UP AGAIN! I texted to see where he was and the text didn't go through. I demanded a refund for breach of contract so that I could pay a REAL company to come take care of my bug problem and still no response. This is lack of professionalism is absurd! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. UPDATE!!! He didn't show up, and then blocked my number!!!!!! He is a thief and a con!!!! I'll be filing with small claims court read more

If you've got bed bugs, do yourself a huge favor and call Joe. We'd been dealing with them for 5 months after picking them up in a hotel. First we tried treating the problem ourselves, which is just a giant waste of time and money. After that, the management at our apartment had two different companies spray our place for a total of 6 TIMES!!! Every time the bugs would disappear for about a week and then return with a vengeance. We did everything we were supposed to, from drying all of our clothes to getting bug traps around our bed and furniture. We even got rid of furniture in a desperate attempt. Nothing worked. It was a living nightmare and we were just about ready to torch the place down. Finally I decided to find someone on Yelp and thankfully I called Joe. He was extremely knowledgable and patient and assured me that there's never been a bug problem he wasn't able to handle. Anytime I had questions I could just text him and he would reply promptly. So far it's been two months and no sign of bugs. Trust me, you can't go wrong with him. read more

It has been over a month since Venom promised to look at my property. No inspection yet. Attempted to contact last week over messaging channel used for consultation. No response. I was never rude or demanded anything absurd. Venom lacks punctuality and professionalism. Judging by other reviews, the company appears not to keep warranty promises. Stay away. read more

Purchased an ant treatment service for my property in June, 2021. The technician, Joe, made one visit to start the work and then promised to come back another day to finish everything. Joe never returned, never made any attempt to reschedule or finish the work. The company ignored my calls and still have heard no word from them. Very disappointed with my experience with Venom Pest Control. Very UNRELIABLE and UNPROFESSIONAL people working here. Look elsewhere for pest control services. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Pest Control Board. read more

Joe did a fantastic job getting rid of our bug problem. The other terrific thing about Joe, is when you call him, he gets Right back to you. So much more reasonable than the last time we had our house done. Saved us allot of $$, prompt, professional, super nice guy to deal with, honest, and trustworthy. He'll take care of our pest needs in the future! read more

Hands down best and quick service. Came in and finished the job and no fuss or upselling about additional options and etc Just relax, don't panic and let him handle read more

I initially went with Orkin, but last minute decided to look into a cheaper alternative and I found Venom on Thumbtack. Joe was extremely knowledgeable, informative, and very emphatheic towards my situation since this was my first time having a pest problem (carpenter beetles) in my bedroom. Even though he was super busy, he was able to somehow fit me in as soon as possible. I am incredibly satisfied and happy with the customer service! Joe was very nice to charge me a lower rate than other pest control companies AND he sprayed two other rooms for the same price. That's only because I accidentally asked after I had already paid, but he didn't mind. He also thoroughly sprayed the ENTIRE outside perimeter of the house! So far, none of these pests came back. I definitely would recommend this to anyone and will be calling Joe again if any other pest problems arise. read more

Joe is great, responsive, thorough. Service is flexible. We are able to call him as needed. He does my aunts multi unit apartment buildings. Definitely recommend. read more

Joe was so helpful, diligent and committed to eradicating our bed bug problem. My husband travels for work several times a month and we think the bugs came back from a hotel in GA. He honored our contract and came back to do a follow up treatment after we saw one or two more bugs. He was very thorough. We have been bug free for 2+ months now! He was on time, honest, prompt and very communicative. We will definitely be using Joe (Venom Pest Control) again if the need arises. read more

Joe is amazing!! We didn't realize we were living with bed bugs for over 6 months!!!! Not until my children started to get bitten. He came out same day we called him and gave us tons of info on what to do to prep for him. He was super thorough and no bugs have returned... and it's been over 2 months! We have a 120 day guarantee so I can rest easy!! Don't call other companies! I was told by another company that my house needed to be tented ($2,000+ ) aNd that still might not solve the problem. Joe got the job done for 1/4 of the price and NO MORE BUGS! read more

This company is Great. Joe came out to treat bed bugs in my house in long beach, I was able to schedule a appt with him the same week, he was prompt and honest. He also did a few other little treatments with no charge. It's been 2 weeks and I have not seen any bugs. He provided great customer service, fair price, and exceptional service. This company is GREAT! read more

Honestly I can't say enough about my great experience with Joe. I'd been getting bitten almost nightly but did not know we had bed bugs.... until, I seen multiple doctors thinking I had allergies, specialist, blood tests, and a dermatologist, who said, it looks like bed bugs... OMG!! I did not want to believe this, I inspected my bed with a magnifier, could not see anything... We tried buying bed bugs 'do it yourself' traps/spray/fume but nothing worked. One night going to bed, on my PJ, there it was a big female... I was terrified (no kidding!!!) I sent the picture to Venom Pest Control... from my initial text to him coming to my house and doing a thorough inspection, he was completely professional, knowledgeable, compassionate and helpful. I initially reached out to Joe because he specialize in bedbugs and for his stellar reviews on Yelp and Thumbtack and I now understand why he is so highly rated. Fortunately he resolved the bed bugs issue, and thanks to Joe's expertise, I definitely learned a lot about them and know what to be on the lookout for in the future. My husband travels to China frequently so on his return, luggage will stay in the garage until I can inspect and vacuum his luggage and wash all of his belongings before bringing anything in the bedroom. I'm so happy to have found Joe because I could not handle it anymore. Thank you much A+++! read more

Venom is the best! We found Joe on thumbtack (awesome site btw) and couldn't have been happier! He contacted us right away, came out the next day and treated everything wonderfully and easily, not mention that he's a super nice guy who doesn't up sell or over charge. I'll never call anyone else! read more

Joe was great! He was able to come the day after I called him. He was able to give me a quote right through Yelp and ended up charging me less when he came to my house. He was good with my dog too! Thanks Joe! read more

Quick response, affordable price and great work! Also he answered every questions about bedbugs that I had, even through text message after treatment. Great customer service. Thank you very much, I highly recommend this company. read more

I've been coming to Joe for years. Awesome customer service doing whatever it takes to make me...er my wife happy as she is terrified of spiders. Monthly, bi monthly, or quarterly he's here to do what works best for you at an unbeatable price. We moved from the valley to Santa Clarita and added snake repellent to the service. He's always checking on us and has excellent communication. I can't recommend him enough! read more

Contacting Joe from Venom was the best choice I've made so far. We had a really bad problem with bed bugs and Joe was so helpful with all of the information he provided as well as answering all of my questions. My dad was very happy and satisfied iwth his services and he is extremely hard to please. Joe is very nice, professional and helpful. He also has hands down the BEST prices and customer service. Will definitely be coming to him again if needed and referring him to all of our friends/family. Thanks again Joe! read more

I had Joe do a bedbug treatment and he did an amazing job! He got rid of all the bed bugs on the first treatment and he gave me such a good price for it. I did a lot of research before hand, and everywhere else was extremely expensive. So not only was his service amazing, but the price was just as satisfactory. He even had the best guarantee around in case the bed bugs didn't go away on the first treatment. Joe was also very knowledgeable about bedbugs and really knew what he was doing. Highly recommend his services! read more

I had a bedbug infestation and was looking and comparing prices after I had wasted my money on another Pest Control company that pretty much told me after three attempts that they couldn't get rid of them and I should tent my house even though they offered me a guarantee of getting rid of them!! I came across Venom Pest Control they were the most reasonable and affordable company and specialized in bedbug treatment. Joe was so professional and knowledgeable about bedbugs. He exterminated my house and did a incredible job they were gone and eliminated them the first time out here. It was unbelievable. I also ended up hiring his company do you my regular by monthly service which again was 30% lower than every other company out there I would highly recommend Venom Pest Control to anybody looking for a great bedbug specialist and affordable price with the best guarantee out there. read more

Joel is the best. He's on time! He always is there to help! Very competitive in price! He knows the business better than anyone! His quality of work is excellent! I highly recommend him for all your pest control needs! read more

Joe was very professional. Very respectable and knowledgeable. Came in explained what the problem was with the bed bugs and was extremely thorough. I highly recommend him for any pest control as he is reasonable priced and reliable. Very happy of our service. read more

I used Joe previously and had a totally different experience the second time. Unfortunately, my negative review is similar to others listed on Yelp for Venom Pest Control. It has cost me over $700 with Joe and we still have a pest problem. In his advertisement, Joe offers a year warranty and for bed bugs he states he will remove the outlets to spray in the walls. None of that happened. I could tell after the first spray, he did a terrible job. He didn't fully spray the second bedroom so they traveled to that room. Everything got worse. I tried to take advantage of the warranty and set another appointment which Joe did not show up for. This went on for months and he finally got back with me after I filed a complaint with the Structural Pest Control Board (https://pestboard.ca.gov/). If you have had a bad experience, please file a complaint. Otherwise, businesses like this will continue to take advantage of consumers with no repercussions. read more

We found Bed Bugs! As disgusting as that sounds, it is a truly awful feeling. We promptly followed all the internet advice and bagged up the entire house, and called a random company. With all our belongings sitting outside, the previous company kept delaying our scheduled time. We cancelled, and started searching for a more prompt service. We found Venom Pest Control. Not only did he show up within an hour, he put our minds at ease with his extensive knowledge, professional attire, calm demeanor, and reasonable prices. He came in and sprayed. He was in and out in under an hour. As an expectant mom with a lil one on the way, I was a paranoid mess. He answered all my questions and calmed my fears. Best service ever! Since he came and sprayed, not a single bug has been found, and believe me we have checked extensively. I recommend Venom Pest Control 100% read more

I needed to get some information on bedbugs because I knew nothing about them! I called several of the big name pest control companies and they had outrageous prices and didn't show any concern for my issues or take the time to answer my questions. I was referred to Venom by a neighbor who had a family member who used them before and had all great things to say. I called that day and Joe from Venom was so nice and professional and came out that same day for an inspection! He was very informative and took his time explaining how bedbugs work and all the places they can hide. I could tell he was very knowledgeable about what he was talking about. He made me feel at ease because I was so frantic I had them in both of my bedrooms! Joe came the next day to do the service and was extremely thorough. He rid us of all bed bugs and it didn't cost me a fortune! I will definitely be using Venom for all my pest needs in the future and definitely recommend them to everyone!! read more

Joe from Venom came out a couple of days ago to treat the bed bug problem in our home. He was very responsive, answering every question I had before, during and after the treatment. Not only was he knowledgeable, experienced and thorough, he had a very calm demeanor that helped put us at ease about an issue that can cause a lot of anxiety. So far, we haven't seen any evidence of these bugs hanging around, and know should we have a problem again, Joe would be willing and able to take care of us. We will certainly use Venom again for any pest issues. read more

Joe ROCKS!! I had another exterminator come in to deal with my bed bugs prior to calling Joe. The bed bugs came back in full force, In fact. I don't remember the problem ever leaving after the first exterminator came. Then i was told by this other exterminator that I needed to tent my house to really solve the problem. Out of sheer necessity (cost of tenting) I had to find another solution. I found Joe on Thumbtack. His quote came with a guarantee that he would rid my house of bedbugs!! I have to tell you, I haven't seen one since his first swipe and his approach to ridding my house of these nasty blood sucking, impermeable pests was an 180 from the original exterminator. Even the curtain rod was exterminated (lol) . I am so grateful to have this problem solved. These bugs are so hard to get rid of and my poor family was being bitten daily.... I feel like a huge weight has been lifted.. Thanks Joe! My family thanks you. read more

Finding out that we had bed bugs in our daughters beds, was horrific. I had reached out to several other companies and was waiting extensive amounts of time for replies. I wanted the bugs gone yesterday! Venom Pest Control had great ratings, and also had several reviews which indicated that his bed bug treatments were successful. Additionally, his quoted price was less than his competitors. Joe is always super quick to respond, very knowledge, and he really cares about doing a good job so that you can be comfortable in your home as soon as possible. He cares about being fair with pricing and wont try to upsell or overcharge you. I was able to get us set up with an appointment right away. He came out, checked our home and gave us in depth information about what needed to be done to take care of the situation. We have had him complete two treatments for bed bugs and have not seen any more since! It feels good to finally have this traumatizing experience behind us. read more
