Asada, Al Pastor, & Carnitas 3 Tacos
    Grant H.

Their al pastor tacos are as good as any I've had in Mexico! These tacos are well priced, flavorful, and the red and green sauce are superb. These tacos asada and carnitas tacos were average to me, so next time I pop in I'll just get three of their fire al pastor! The staff were awesome, the cooks were quick, and the restaurant was clean.

After being introduced to the most delicious birria tacos at a Yelp Event last summer, I have been hooked! Having visited their small Centennial location, I was beyond excited to see this new location, super close to home!! This brand-spanking-new space is larger than it appears on the outside and filled with a variety of seating (and patio!!), brightly colored flags, a full bar and smiley faces behind the counter. Staff is friendly, welcoming and provide great recommendations off their massive menu. I came for the birria tacos, but my tune changed when I saw the Birria pizza on the menu overhead. A massive birria taco (cut 8 ways), topped with allllllll the fixings with a side of consommé. YUM! We also got an order of mango hot wings which came with a side of fries. The food came out relatively quickly, was pretty in presentation and tasted delicious! Messy AF but so good! We ended up eating pizza with a fork to catch all the delicious ingredients. The consommé is the perfect consistency, delicious in flavor and perfect for dunking - although the pizza was a flimsier than the tacos. Pricing is on point for the quantity and quality, and I will easily return!

Holy Birria's. AMAZING. These birrias were absolutely incredible -- packed with flavor, perfectly tender, and easily some of the best I've had. Every bite was delicious, and the consommé took them to another level. Definitely coming back for more!

Having been to the Venalonzo's off of Yosemite and Arapahoe, I thought I'd give this Venalonzo's a try. Again, equally as delicious as the other! This location is a bit bigger in size and can fit more customers that decide to eat in. Service is of course stellar as one would predict. Venalonzo's has been at a couple of YELP YES events in the past year and I enjoy when I can go to the business in person. Asada and chicken tacos for the win! The pickled onions (on the tacos already) are a tasty topping to these tacos! This Venalonzo's has just barely moved in to this new location. While still a bit under construction, it is a very relaxing place to enjoy your meal! Will be back for sure!

Amazing and prompt service! Really enjoyed their consume that paired very well with the quesabirria tacos. The Al pastor was very flavorful and carnitas were juicy. Great selection of salsas and vegetables to add to your tacos. Margaritas were excellent and on the sweeter side. Easy parking and conveniently nearby Sam's Club. Great music and lots of TV screens to watch games. Would definitely come back!

Ordered their new ramen soup dish and the Mac n cheese balls. They're really good! I just wish they had flour tortillas as an option for tacos.

Was running errands on this side of town and was pleasantly surprised to see that a new Venalonzo's Tacos had opened up in the area! This location is bigger and way less crowded than the one on Yosemite. (I am sure once the word gets out, it will be crowded. They have only been open for a few months.) Same great quality of food and service as the original. A fresh salsa bar with all the fixings is easier to access. Plenty of seating, both indoors and outside on a side patio.

Large selection of Mexican dishes. They are on Yelp's Top 100 in the Southwest. This is their newest location. Nice colorful and well lit space. I started with a Birria taco and 3 street tacos (Carnitas, Barbacoa and Chorizo). They brought out two salsas. There is a separate salsa and condiments bar. I added a no-salt rim Mango Margarita. Nice strong drink with the sweetness of Mango. I was served by Nati M. She gave me time to make my choices. All fresh. I was still hungry. I got 8 hot wings with Mango Habanero with fries. I got a 2nd drink, a Strawberry Margarita. I was served by Angel V. The Mango was better. He said they also have Spicy Cucumber, Guava & Watermelon flavors. The wings and fries were hot. I noticed that they have desserts. So lots of future choices.

Always enjoy a skinny margarita on the patio. Also love their quesadilla de papas!!!! And chips and guac!! Angel and Cathy are amazing!!!!

Always enjoy coming here! Their margaritas are awesome! Cathy and Angel always take great care of us. I really enjoy their quesadillas de papas and chips and guac. Huge fan!

False advertising right off the bat. On top of that, they can't show up on time. Both times I've waited on them, they rolled in hours late. One football Sunday they didn't even arrive until 2:40 PM... when games start around 11 AM. Not exactly a reliable partner for breweries trying to host customers. Now for the food: honestly, it's nothing like the pictures online. It comes out looking sloppy and unappetizing. Against our better judgment, my friends and I ordered anyway -- and all of us got sick. This wasn't a one-off either. Both times I ate from this truck, I got sick. That's a major red flag. The owners themselves are nice people, but the product and execution are unacceptable. At this point, the health department really needs to step in and inspect this truck because something isn't right. They also have a brick & mortar restaurant in Lone Tree, but after two bad experiences, I won't be going anywhere near it. If I see this truck at a brewery again, I'll be eating somewhere else.

Authentic, homemade, flavorful, inventive and delicious food! The owner, who stopped by our table to check on us and chat, is from Mexico City and brought all the flavors of Mexico to Colorado and I'm glad he did. Good food, good music, good service. Not sure what else you need?! On the small downside, yes it is a little more costly than other places. I think part of that is the location, Lone Tree being in a wealthier part of Douglas County. However, don't let that stop you from going, just plan accordingly.

I got the a plate of chips and guacamole and it was really good. The chips were house made, light and crunchy and the guacamole was delicious. I also got a huranches (I think that's how it's spelled) with carnitas and it was a delicious large portion. Let not forget the ginormous mango margarita. Wow that was one heck of a drink. It's casual enough where you can go and dine with an ease; a spacious dining room with friendly staff are other important elements we all want to see in a restaurant. And what's more, it has a spacious patio, a must have in the summer (warms months are around the corner, right?) This place checks out at least several of those elements. My to-to experience was more than good yesterday. Hence this review to express my gratitude. I wanted something light. The thought of having a crispy flautas (all of a sudden) hit me. I had reviewed this business on Yelp before yesterday's takeout experience so I knew about their great selection that includes the very dish I was eager to get. You have three to choose from: shredded beef or chicken or potato. But if you are greedy enough (like I was!!) to experience/taste all three, you can do so as the dish comes with 3 rolled tortilla flautas. Several condiments will accompany your main that are: crema, queso fresco, red and green salsa. You can add rice and beans with extra $3.95 (which I opted out; instead, I got a side guacamole for $1.95.) The lady upfront was so informative about the dish I ordered (she ensured that I'd get everything I'd need.) Her friendliness was emitting like a bright light from her smiley face. Service - top notch! It took about good 10+ minutes before my food came out from the kitchen and yet, I would say this is average. I was there when the restaurant only had one table occupied. A dish like flautas does take time as they have to be deep fried to the crispiest. I wasn't in a hurry (thank goodness.) Once I got back to my car, I started to savor my food. Whereas the chicken was a bit disappointing as it was a bit chewy, the potato (this was my favorite out of the three) and the beef were pretty good but most of all, the crispy corn tortilla was so crunchy. As I morseled it, the crunchy sound my mouth made was so loud to my ears (LOL!) The side guac was solid as well (I shall not forget to mention it!)
