I've given this food truck two chances at two different breweries, and both times were a disaster. The truck looks cool -- graffiti-style with "Hot Chicken" plastered on it -- but here's the kicker: they don't actually serve hot chicken. False advertising right off the bat. On top of that, they can't show up on time. Both times I've waited on them, they rolled in hours late. One football Sunday they didn't even arrive until 2:40 PM... when games start around 11 AM. Not exactly a reliable partner for breweries trying to host customers. Now for the food: honestly, it's nothing like the pictures online. It comes out looking sloppy and unappetizing. Against our better judgment, my friends and I ordered anyway -- and all of us got sick. This wasn't a one-off either. Both times I ate from this truck, I got sick. That's a major red flag. The owners themselves are nice people, but the product and execution are unacceptable. At this point, the health department really needs to step in and inspect this truck because something isn't right. They also have a brick & mortar restaurant in Lone Tree, but after two bad experiences, I won't be going anywhere near it. If I see this truck at a brewery again, I'll be eating somewhere else. read more

Ok let's be real for a minute...a lot of Mexican restaurants around town are more on the Tex Mex side, good but basic Mexican food. Not Purisima. Authentic, homemade, flavorful, inventive and delicious food! The owner, who stopped by our table to check on us and chat, is from Mexico City and brought all the flavors of Mexico to Colorado and I'm glad he did. Good food, good music, good service. Not sure what else you need?! On the small downside, yes it is a little more costly than other places. I think part of that is the location, Lone Tree being in a wealthier part of Douglas County. However, don't let that stop you from going, just plan accordingly. read more

We were greeted immediately with a smile when we walked in. Music was playing in the background. We chose the salsa flight, chicken enchilada (homemade tortillas), chile relleno, pastor / shrimp / chicken tinga street tacos. A bit too much but it was delicious. The chile relleno was one of the best, if not the best, we ever had. The chicken enchiladas were stuffed with chicken and flavor. We had lunch so parking was pretty easy at least. Ordered Pozole which was very tasty and suffice pork meat Chilaquiles (green sauce)plate was soggy and eggs were very overcooked. Queso with chorizo appetizer wasn't Authentic at all . Instead of a melted cheese with chorizo it was canned cheese dip with very little chorizo. Served with chips instead of typical corn tortillas. Not a good value at all at $10.00 Mexican waters, horchata and strawberry were very good and ok value at $5.00 each for about 10 oz glass(no refills). Restaurant was very clean and more of a fast food type restaurant. Service was acceptable. $55.00 plus tip for above food. A bit pricey for a fast food environment but with some changes and or improvements on some items would be ok value. Want them to have success so will try again on Taco night. read more

Fantastic welcoming service. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and a helpful server. The food was excellent flavors, really well prepared and fast to table. I live a good flauta and the chicken was were done well. Perfect fry with flavorful and lightly seasoned chicken. The quesabirria was really well flavored and not overly salty like some other places. The flavor bursted in my mouth and the dipping sauce was the added flora or booster. I ordered a Mexican cafe and it was like my Abuela's cafe. It made me full of memories sitting in her kitchen when she made her cafe. Then the surprise was the salsas. The pink one is spicy with habenero and beets. This combination was fruity and had a slow heat at the back of the throat that was spicy perfection. There were three others to choose from but the pink was my favorite. Great service, nice atmosphere and great staff. The location is perfectly close to the rail and they have breakfast too. I will be coming back to try the sopes or chilaquiles! read more

Came here with my family after a long day, and we were blown away with the food options here! We thought we were coming here for the pesto Italiano, and it turned out to be so much more! It was perfect because everyone could get something they liked and wanted. No one felt like they didn't have an option. Every food station looked so good and had big menus! Some share a kitchen, and they all share the dining area, so chairs tables and restrooms. They have multiple areas to return trays and plates and throw out trash. I chose Purisima mexican food station, and the food was beyond amazing! I got the Carne asada fries and pastor chicken tacos. The tacos were some of the best I have ever had! Sweet with a little spice and just packed with flavor! The Carne asada fries were crispy and easy to eat, the neat paired so well with the chili. I devoured my food. Also, the wait for the food was basically nothing. They made it so quickly! And they give you a little buzzer so when your food is ready you can come pick it up. Everyone in my family enjoyed their food, there wasn't anything left over. We were all so happy with what we chose and would love to come back and try more! read more

Located inside zeppelin station, this place is not to be missed!! Just a warning, the queso has peanuts on top (can't remember if the menu mentioned this) but it was phenomenal. Purisima's fryer was down on Monday and they "cancelled" my pick-up order but didn't appear to notify their online ordering merchant (Zing My Order) which then didn't notify me of the cancellation. I showed up for the order and was informed of the cancellation. I was still charged for the order and had to reach out to the merchant for a refund which took 4 days to resolve (and difficulty with communication). I wish they did a better job of actually cancelling and notifying as I can't trust ordering with them again. I've had the food before and can say it's generally good. The fried plantains are good. I didn't love the tres leches cake but it was okay. The tacos were fine and the carnitas plate was great. The place is expensive for "fine" and "okay" but are convenient in terms of location. I just wish I could trust ordering from them. read more

I had some really yummy street tacos here on my last visit to this food hall, and was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was! I had the fish and veggie tacos, both of which were perfectly savory and tasty. The food here is amazing! The tacos are well loaded up, their Agua de Mango is my FAVORITE and I LOVE their tortas. The staff is super friendly and kind. I knew when I stepped in that we'd hit jackpot from the music they played to the little 'Pinche way' signs. I was delighted. Unfortunately Denver doesn't have great food and it's hard to find good Mexican spots. I'm from Juárez, México and I'd say the food is comparable to the best I've had! I will say however it is on the more expensive side , which is what stops me from going all the time. I imagine, given that the area is predominantly white-upper-middle class is the reason for such high pricing. I think my neighbors and I would go more often if it was more affordable. read more

Just minutes away from SkyRidge Medical Center and Park Meadows Mall. Stopped in tonight, Thursday night. Party of 4. Restaurant is clean. Looks like a fun place to go on Friday nights- there is a stage where they do karaoke. The gentleman who served us also said they have poker games on Mondays and Fridays also. The food was fantastic. We had the chips/salsa flight, and the guacamole.. we had the Elote Street Corn- everything was so fresh, delicious and flavorful. I love a Mexican restaurant with warm chips. There was a regular patron who lives nearby- who recommended the chili relleno. He was right- it was delicious!! We also ordered some street tacos- the barbacoa was a hit with the kids. I had the lobster and the fish tacos- they were fresh and delicious. Glad we decided to give this place a try. We will definitely be back. I can't wait for Summer- this place will be so much fun!! I had never tried this place and saw good reviews on Google, so tried it out. It's expensive! I paid $75 for 3 burritos. One was supposed to have toppings removed and they weren't and one was requesting extra chile and cheese, but neither were added. It was very difficult to find this location and parking wasn't ideal. We eat a lot of Mexican food and I make it at home so I had high hopes. Even though our order wasn't correct, we tried our food. None of us liked it. The "green chile" isn't green chile and their sign out front stated that it was authentic and it was far from it. They were soggy burritos with what tasted like a jar of avocado salsa dumped on top. Inside the restaurant, it felt like a bar so it's probably a nice hangout spot for the people living in the apartments there. The employee who assisted me was super nice and he gets my star. Sadly, this was a waste of my hard earned money and I'll never be back. I'd rather make home made green chile and smother my own burritos to feed a full family for under $20. I don't post negative reviews but I set my expectations way too high for this place before trying it out. read more

It's a cool place the building it's in has been so many different things lately that the ambiance is not very different than the last occupants. Wow, this is the new taco spot at Zeppelin Station and it is so good. We really had no choice as it was the only place open as the businesses were changing over, but that was our gain in discovering this gem. Every single part of the tacos, guacamole, and salsas was fresh and delicious. The tortillas were first class and paired to the choice, using squid ink and blue corn versions as well as standard corn. It will be nice when all of the new vendors are up and running at Zeppelin but hard not to just come back here. read more
