In my opinion, it is a very solid authentic Mexican place! Great choice of quality Mexican food made to order (the menu is in Spanish only but the lady up front was super helpful). We ordered Alambre de Asada to go (as you can't dine in right now let state order), which is basically lots of grilled beef topped with bacon, cheese, onions and bell peppers. It does come with different sauces as well. We asked for the hottest one, and even though it had lots of flavor, it wasn't that spicy. It is pretty greasy so if you are not used to this type of food, you will probably have a bit of a heartburn afterwards. The portion was very generous and more than enough for two people! They served me the worst meat I have seen in a long long long time. Not one single piece wasn't covered in gristle and/or lots of fat. It is truly inedible and horribly low low quality. One star extra because the green sauce was nice. I visited this establishment about a year ago and it was yummy. The red and green salsas were also different. This time the red is more orange and rather sweet. I have to say I think they have a new chef or owner and the quality is not not not good. Getting food out of the house is a special treat lately so it sucks that it's going in the trash. read more

This place was pretty empty and we wanted to give them a chance. Food was good, but not great. I had the menudo, bean and cheese burrito and my daughter chicken enchiladas and corn on a stick. Overall it took 20-25 mins to get our order, food was not hot and was just ok. Menudo ($9.99) was not good at all, the bean and cheese burrito had puréed beans (it looked like baby food) and the chicken enchiladas were average. The corn was horrible. They were old corn and had no kernels. Not worth the cost and not worth the taste. Total cost for our food was over $46, not a great deal at all. read more

I'm not sure about this place to be honest. the first time I went it was delicious but the last two times it was awful. The first time I had the azada tacos and they were amazing.the meat was tender and cooked perfectly. I also had the street corn and it was phenomenal. The ratio of everything was spot on and it tasted amazing.The last two times I had similar items and it was completely different. The meat was over cooked and was lacking flavor and the tortillas were really hard. Then the street corn was awful as well and was way to watery and was missing most of the key ingredients like the cheese and sour cream. I'm not sure what happened but I won't be returning here again because either the owner has changed or there are people in the kitchen that don't care about making quality food. read more

My friends brought me to this taqueria for lunch to bribe me into looking at their son's PC build. (the bribe worked, btw) I had azada and pastor street tacos. They come 2 to an order, the price board said $1.75 but I'm not sure if that's for two or one. Either way, super tasty. I also followed suit after one of my friends and got a ceviche tostada. Very delicious, though the tortilla was cold which was a bit of a bummer. Three kinds of free salsas in one-serve cups by the sliverware tray up front. Friend ordered a torta, which he only ate half of because it was huge. Side fries was piled high on a regular sized white ridged picnic plate. Enough for three people as a side, easily. I got a horchata which came in a huge cup. Definitely shareable. They have a cooler full of Mexican soft drinks to choose from as well. Counter woman spoke English and Spanish and I was told they are happy to translate anything on the menu. Patriarch only speaks Spanish but that's fine with food so good and prices so low. Great little hidden gem. On corner of Littleton blvd and S. Gallop st. Pretty nice sized inside. Very clean. My son and I each had tacos, comes 2 to a plate. He had steak, I had pork. Very good. We also tried an order of wings A) because they had them and 2) because we both Love wings and we gotta know if we've been missing out. The answer is "yes" we have been missing out. These were great wings. Standard wings; fried in butter then sauced in Franks Hot sauce and they were good and saucy just like I like them. They had a Lot Of items on the menu, but as I am not fluent In Spanish we had to ask a lot of questions about what some Things were. Delicious! Got 4 tacos which was the perfect amount for a petite person like me. I got 2 pork and 2 beef (min for each taco was 2) Mine came with a green chili and a spicy queso sauce - so good. For starters, this is the best Mexican place I've found so far in Colorado (originally from CA). First time I went here I had a custom torta with al pastor, chorizo, an over-easy egg, jalapenos, sauteed onions, lettuce, tomato etc. and it was phenomenal! Literally two days later I went for another takeout order and got mix in match tacos which had lots of flavor. Today I went in once again and ordered a carne azada and al pastor alambre. Hands down this was the tastiest meal I've had in a pretty long time. The flavor profile was fantastic and very authentic. I LOVE their red sauce. Has a good bit of spice too it and still retains much flavor. I personally thought it wasn't very spicy but for people who have a low spice tolerance would think the exact opposite. The only thing I regret is not getting more red sauce for the alambre, otherwise THIS SHIT IS HELLA GAS!!! read more

FANTASTIC FOOD. We got the ceviche tostadas, esquite, queso enmoladas, and strawberries in cream. The ceviche was so fresh and the ingredients were perfectly balanced. The esquite was creamy and warm with a hint of spice. The enmoladas were rich, but light. The strawberries and cream made me die and go to heaven above. So happy we found this place! Super friendly People and great Tacos de Tripas. The Asada Tacos were mediocre, but the Tripas more than made up for the Asada. The Orange colored salsa was super excellent as well. Reminds me of the Taqueria Selene House Salsa. read more

I was really hoping this would be a great little neighborhood taqueria. As somebody mentioned in an earlier review the front counter staff were quite nice, but unfortunately the food was not good the night we went. The fried chicken dish was way over fried and tasted as if the oil needed changing. The beef dish my wife had was just odd. It appeared to have been fried in the same oil as the chicken. IMO the taste and appearance were quite unappealing. I'll have to keep looking for that great little taqueria. read more
