I was particularly worried about the dead tree removal because it is a very small yard with a tight surrounding fence. After our first experience with Kelvin and his crew trimming about 15 of our old and large oak trees, we asked him to take on a big job in clearing 1/3 of an acre that was ENTIRELY wooded. They not only cleared it but also (1) chipped all the wood into mulch piles for us wherever we wanted it (2) opted not to clear and instead manicure oak trees that were in the wooded forest (3) ripped out vines that we had wanted to remove but weren't included in the initial quote Per usual, they were on-time, cleaned up after themselves, closed all the gates after they entered/left, and were very polite when pulling us into decisions they wanted guidance on rather than taking action then asking forgiveness if wrong. They were able to get rid of all the dead branches but salvage the tree. Kelvin was fantastic. They showed up early every morning and he text me 20 minutes before they arrived to let me know they were on the way. They were so polite and professional and very respectful of my property. They removed 4 large palm trees that had sadly died in the freeze and trimmed up another. They raised the canopy and cleaned up the interior and dead wood on 13 large Southern Live Oaks. The trees had not been maintained in quite a while so it was a rather large job. Kelvin also took out some older stumps on the property and cleaned up some Loquat trees and a Laurel that need attention. When they were finished they cleaned up completely, had me inspect the work and make sure there was nothing more that I wanted done, and even cut up some of the oak for firewood for next year. These guys did a superb job on a tree trimming of 3 full grown trees. They where the first ones to respond on a quote and where very reasonably priced in comparison to the other quotes. Since they responded first they got the job. They came out two days later and we discussed the best options to keep my trees to keep them healthy but trimmed, he really knew his stuff. They performed the cut and took all the debris with them. I was also very impressed with the level of detail for the cleanup afterwards. They used both a blower and rake to sweep up all the extra leaves caused by the cuts. I look forward to having these guys come out to trim my trees every year from now on. read more
