From the very first interaction, the communication was excellent. Getting an estimate was incredibly fast and straightforward, and getting the work scheduled was just as smooth. I originally got quotes from some of the bigger, more "corporate" tree services in town, and I was genuinely shocked--their prices were **multiple times more expensive** for the exact same scope of work! With those other companies, you deal with a salesperson who gives you a quote, then a scheduler, and finally a crew shows up who might not even know what was promised. With Jaime Tree Service, you get the complete opposite. Because this is a true family business owned and operated by a father and son, you are communicating directly with the people handling your project from start to finish. There is no middleman or disconnect; the person you talk to is the person doing the work. They don't just send out a random crew; the father and son are the ones in the trees themselves (bringing in additional help only when needed), which brings a level of accountability and pride you just don't find elsewhere. And don't let the incredible price fool you--their expertise is top-tier. They used to cut trees for the Austin Electric utility, so they know exactly what they are doing when it comes to safety and precision. They treated our live oaks with such care, trimming them back beautifully to keep them healthy. On the day of the service, they arrived right on time, worked incredibly hard, and left my yard looking cleaner than it was before they arrived! They raked up every leaf and hauled away all the debris perfectly. If you want honest, skilled, hard-working people at a fair price, look no further. He and his team were efficient and thorough. Took two days to chop down three trees (1 dead, 2 live) with grinding. They even cleaned up and mowed my lawn and cleaned up all the leaves as well as cleaning up all the driveways. We had some large trees and there was debris across three driveways including our neighbors. They did cut an underground hose I was completely unaware of while grinding one of the tree stumps, but Arturo came by a week later and fixed it. They are responsible and have insurance in case any of the workers get injured. With the grinding of the stump and roots, you can't tell there was even a tree there. Keep in mind that they grind the roots about foot deep, so we had to contact the city to mark any gas pipes or electricity lines which wasn't hard to do (city sent someone promptly in a few days)

I would 1000% recommend this service to anyone! I had a hackberry tree next to my driveway cleaned up, including raising the canopy. Another chinaberry tree cleaned up. And three crate myrtles cleaned up. Best part however was the old stump I asked to get trimmed down with the bottom becoming a planter for a climbing ivy plant.
