With those other companies, you deal with a salesperson who gives you a quote, then a scheduler, and finally a crew shows up who might not even know what was promised. With Jaime Tree Service, you get the complete opposite. Because this is a true family business owned and operated by a father and son, you are communicating directly with the people handling your project from start to finish. There is no middleman or disconnect; the person you talk to is the person doing the work. They don't just send out a random crew; the father and son are the ones in the trees themselves (bringing in additional help only when needed), which brings a level of accountability and pride you just don't find elsewhere. They used to cut trees for the Austin Electric utility, so they know exactly what they are doing when it comes to safety and precision. He and his team were efficient and thorough. Took two days to chop down three trees (1 dead, 2 live) with grinding. They even cleaned up and mowed my lawn and cleaned up all the leaves as well as cleaning up all the driveways. We had some large trees and there was debris across three driveways including our neighbors. They did cut an underground hose I was completely unaware of while grinding one of the tree stumps, but Arturo came by a week later and fixed it. They are responsible and have insurance in case any of the workers get injured. With the grinding of the stump and roots, you can't tell there was even a tree there. Keep in mind that they grind the roots about foot deep, so we had to contact the city to mark any gas pipes or electricity lines which wasn't hard to do (city sent someone promptly in a few days)

During the big 2023 ice storm in Austin, we had significant damage to our huge cedar elm tree…read morehaving lost nearly 80% of its branches and foliage. One huge limb went onto our neighbor's roof and two more huge limbs snapped and landed on top of our above ground pool. Since most of the weight of those two limbs were held by mere strands at the point where they snapped, we were at risk of losing the pool if those strands finally snapped. Fortunately, (and quite by accident), a tree trimming service drove by and asked if we needed help. Chris and his crew went to work removing those three large limbs. They were ever-so-cautious in removing the limbs from the pool. One wrong cut could have brought those crashing down. What an awesome job they did! Our pool and the tree survives. These guys did exceptional work at a very fair price. I highly recommend 'Chris and Crew' if you need tree service or if you still need help trimming the carnage from that ice storm.
