There are a number of small boutique stores located here. This Japanese restaurant was a great find when I was out walking. I was actually going to pick up some food at another place. I read some of the reviews to get an idea of what to expect and was pleased to find that the food here is very good. This is a takeout only restaurant. They cater and also Chef Maezaki teaches sushi techniques in the surrounding area. I entered the front door and walked to the large counter. I was greeted with a smile and a friendly hello. I asked a number of questions and realized that I must be talking to Chef Maezakl. He showed me the menu. He also showed me specials that they were offering. After taking some time I decided to order the special wagyu beef entree, and a spicy tuna hand roll. I sat down in one of the chairs available and waited. I could smell great aromas from the food being prepared in the kitchen. I was happy when my food arrived about 15 minutes later. I could sense his pride in what he had prepared for me. I enjoyed the complete dinner that was the wagyu beef entree. There was rice, pickled cucumber, California roll sushi, a special piece of fried chicken, and chicken gyoza. It came in a perfectly packed & arranged container, ready to eat. I'm happy to say the taste translated to a great experience in dining. The marinated beef was tender and flavorful. The chicken was moist tender with a crisp exterior. The cucumber salad was bright and refreshing. The fresh sushi was a nice touch. I went back another time to try the cold chicken ramen, a three piece chicken appetizer, and the tiramisu. I was happy with the fresh flavor of the vegetables in the ramen. It was a nice change. All I can say about the tiramisu is that it has an addicting flavor! I can't wait to have it again. It's nice that the parking lot accommodates all the small boutique businesses. There has always been plenty of parking when I was there. This shopping area with its boutique stores is a good find. I look forward to my experience at CM Ghost Kitchen.

Overall hits the spot for sushi fix. The only drawback is it's priced the same as restaurants which would have served two pieces of each fish plus uni and ikura etc. Although I will say I was pleasantly surprised at the tiny squeeze bottle sauces provided and that it tasted homemade (ponzu, yuzu, unagi sauce). May order again if there's a deal.

There is plenty of signage that calls attention to this building. It has an inset entrance, that leads to a customer counter. When I was there there was somebody that was available at the counter. There are a number of kiosks that have different restaurant kitchens with different types of food available for purchase. A lot of people do their ordering online and come in to pick up their items through a secure locker located to the left of the counter window. There is also a RFID reader to validate your order located near the entrance. It is a step-by-step process that is explained on Google or at the website. I and visually impaired and needed some more information before I went to order. I was online at home and had a number of questions. When I went to call the number that was listed, I found that it did not work for this business. I tried to find another number in a number of different areas, but I had no luck as the only number was to a property management company, not Allied food to go or the business that I wanted to order from. I took a chance and went to the brick-and-mortar location on Colorado. When I got to the customer service counter, I let them know that I needed help, as I was visually impaired. The young woman who was at the counter was incredibly helpful. I found out that the company that I wanted to order food from was no longer a part of their business. She helped me by finding another business that offered the particular hamburger that I wanted to order. She inputted the correct information and help me maneuver through the payment and ordering process. She was a gem! I noticed that there were quite a number of people who didn't have the same problem that I did as they were able to just order their food online. I have to admit it is nice being able to order different genres of food from one place. That way everybody in your party is happy! It does appear that some of the restaurants do not update their information as often as they should. The same could be said for Allied. Someone needs to be monitoring the directory and the information as well as the menus. I love the concept. For those that are used to online ordering, I'm sure that Allied Food To Go is perfect. At least now I know how it is supposed to work. I also found the website to be very difficult to read as I was not able to find a dark mode option. That's why it was so important to have the attendant complete the process for me. I will use the process again, but I now have a better understanding of what to expect. I admit that parking can sometimes be crazy in this area because of businesses nearby. However, when I was there I was able to find parking on the side street. I have a feeling that sometimes when it is lunch or dinner and people are picking up their meals parking can become a problem. If you don't mind walking there's always some street parking available.

The containers also come in four sizes: Small (4oz), Medium (5oz), Large (6oz) and Extra Large (8oz), so that you can gauge how much food you might need (I'm good w/the Medium Sizes). If you're not sure, you can also contact Muscle Up Meals. Best of all, I can easily enter the information into MyFitnessPal app. 2. The meals are affordable, which allows me to alternate between breakfast and lunch. 3. There's no commitment - I'm not forced into a packaged meal/subscription. I can do a la carte style and choose whichever meals to fit my nutrition goals. 4. The meal deliveries are promised w/in time frame and are packaged neatly and tightly. 5. However, if you miss the deadline, you can always contact them. Examples of my first breakfast and lunch entrees w/Muscle Up Meals: Breakfast Items: 1. Low Carb - Breakfast Tacos served w/green salsa verde. 2. Low Carb - Eggwhite Breakfast Tacos served w/green salsa verde. Both versions were delicious, extremely satisfying and kept me energized throughout my mornings at work. The lean ground turkey meat, scrambled eggs/eggwhite were seasoned perfectly w/out tasting too salty or bland. The cauliflower tortillas were fluffy, hearty and tasty. I tossed both the green salsa verde since they were too spicy for me and the breakfast tacos were satisfying w/o it. Lunch Entrees 1. Balanced - Blackened Chicken served w/cauliflower and grain rice. Extremely good! Bummer, they didn't have it for this next week's order. The chicken breast was tender and juicy, while the cauliflower was crunchy and grained rice was nicely cooked. 2. Low Carb - Turkey Meatloaf served w/broccoli florets and grain rice. The turkey meatloaf was good but tasted a bit too mushy for me. Whereas the broccoli florets and grain rice were perfectly cooked and filling. I may try out the Balanced or Keto version at some point. 3. Low Carb - Chicken Tenders (2pcs) Plate served w/a chipotle sauce, roasted Brussel sprouts and cauliflower rice. The chicken tenders were hearty w/a little bit of heat to them. The chipotle sauce was too spicy for me. The roasted Brussel sprouts were a bit al-dente, but I still dig it. The cauliflower rice was also tasty, a little bit of heated kick (still edible). 4. Low Carb - Chicken and Cauliflower Rice. My last and simplest meal for the week, which was tender, moist and flavorful. Overall, I highly recommend Muscle Up Meals. I will definitely continue w/them and have already ordered my second batch of food! (Stayed tuned, I'll continue posting pics of new meals).

On Sunday, July 5, at 10:55 a.m., I received a text explaining that an unexpected equipment malfunction late Saturday, July 4, had affected their production schedule. I was given the option to receive a credit toward the following week's order or a full refund. I replied that same day requesting a full refund. I followed up on Tuesday, July 7, and was told that refunds typically take three to five business days. By July 13, I still had not received the refund, so I reached out again but received no response. I followed up once more on July 14 and again received no response or refund. This is especially disappointing because I had been ordering meal-prep meals from them on and off for more than a year. I understand that unexpected problems happen, but a business should communicate with its customers and promptly issue refunds when promised.
