Good vegan food! Definitely on the pricier side given the portion size. Charming waiters! The gyro bowl has amazing seitan! Really tastes like meat. Would recommend to any vegan who wants to try! Would not recommend the wrap. Also ordered the Chinatown quinoa and it was average but good!

Super find!!! Happened to be a block away from Alape showroom so we stopped by! Wow impressive. Nice interior, great service and super food. Highly recommend. My 88 year old dad also gives two thumbs up

Yum! Healthy food for the soul. It's rare to find a veggie-forward/vegan restaurant in Europe, but Veggiezz fills the void. This is absolutely the place to go if you are gluten-free, paleo, or Whole 30. There is also outdoor seating for 22 people. The menu is very clear and includes a list of ingredients. I ordered a sugar-free ice tea (€4.50), which had a nice hibiscus and orange flavored sweetness. I was so happy to find alternative takes on a hamburger and a variety of grainy bowls and proteins. I had the maki rolls (€7.90) and an avocado burger (€12.80). The maki rolls included quinoa for a nice crunch, and burger came on an avocado--no bun! Both were flavorful and filling. It's a bit pricier than the nearby street vendors, but you're paying for high quality, fresh produce. I will be back!

Gourmet vegan food from Austrian chef Siegfried Kröpfl who delights your taste buds and give you high protein, low carb vegan food at a good price! Food**** We ordered the Brasil black bean Wrap and the Gyros Wrap. The Brasil back bean Wrap was just the right mixture of neutral and spicy with fresh cut tomatoes, spicy tomato sauce, juicy jalapeños and scrumptious pea protein. Made to perfection and absolutely delectable. The Gyros Wrap was so authentic to Greek cuisine that it was difficult to distinguish from the real thing. The tzatziki sauce was perfect and the combination of red onion rings with spinach complimented the Wrap very nicely! Highly recommend the latter. Service**** We both were very satisfied with the speed of service. We read that service would be slower in Austria but not here. The waiter was friendly and quick to attend to our needs. Atmosphere**** It was a cozy, dimly-lit, spacious, and welcoming environment. We both felt very comfortable in this restaurant. Price$$ Over $10 per Wrap but definitely worth the price!

Was in Vienna for one week. Wasn't sure what the vegan & vegetarian restaurants would be like. I was impressed. By Veggiezz in particular. The (seitan) steak with grilled avocados was really good. I still have a few days here and will try to return. There are many other options that look good on the menu. But I may feel compelled to have the steak again! Also, they spoke English with me, which is a nice convenience.

The…read moresachsertorte is velvety smooth chocolate madness with whipped cream and a bit of apricot and raspberry jam. The apple strudel is a classic fruity standard baked to perfection. We chased it down with cappuccinos. Vollpension provides retirees with employment and social interaction. It also put to work their superior baking skills and incorporates their family recipes. Honestly, i think their deserts are superior to much of the commercial cafes around the city. Their prices are certainly better. Plus you get to support a great program so it's a sweet win-win all around. If you are looking for a non touristy cafe for a relaxing and yummy treat then try Vollpension. Highly recommend.

German for "full pension," Vollpension hires seniors to allow them to make extra money in their retirement/on top of their pension. Their website calls the restaurant "where old and young get together to eat cake." In that vein, the restaurant is filled with what I'd call Grandma chic: floral patterned chairs, mismatched chairs, mismatched plates, etc. Many of the dishes on the menu are named after Grandmas and Grandpas (who I assumed work or have worked at the restaurant). My friend had Mr. Karli's Cheese Masterpieces (cheese sandwich with Montafon cheese and a soft-boiled organic egg), and I had Grandpa Kurti's Good Cheese Wagon (2 spreads, Montafon cheese, mountain cheese, breakfast cheese triangles, seasonal vegetables, butter, jam, a roll, a slice of rye bread, and brioche). My friend also had a slice of cake (you walk down to the kitchen, take a look at what they have that day, and let them know which you want a slice of). We also had a couple of cappuccinos and orange juice with soda. The food was simple and delicious. The service and ambiance made it special. It really felt like we were at someone's home, and that made it a special meal on our trip. I'd happily return.
