On a Wednesday evening, my wife, six-year-old daughter, and I dined on the patio. Here's our experience. 1) Food: The menu is large with traditional Israeli food and a few unique items blending Austrian and Israeli flavors. To feed the three of us, we ordered the hummus, baba ghanoush, schnitzel in a pita, and the "Fesendjan," Persian chicken stew on a bed of hummus. The "Fesendjan" was the winner for all three of us. 2) Drinks: They serve Pepsi products in cans, but you can always ask for free tap water. Vienna has some of the world's best tap water. 3) Service: You sit anywhere you like and order inside at the register when you're ready. At first I thought it was just going to be some upscale schwarma but it's so much more. My wife went for falafel that were part meat part chickpea which was really unique. You could definitely taste both the meat and the chickpea. It came with fries that were well cooked and a bunch of hummus. Shakshuka wasn't quite the shakshuka I was expecting as it would've been great with more egg, a bit spicier, and maybe less hummus. But that doesn't mean it wasn't good, cuz it was good. There was a lot of hummus, more than was really needed but it made for a great tomatoey spread with the pita breads. Would definitely go back, might opt for meats next time tho read more

This place was amazing! Right in city center so a bit expensive, but the portions are large enough to share. Concept-counter service with incredibly friendly staff. Lots of amazing drinks from alcohol to juice. The decor is very appealing as it's rustic, clean and a bit industrial. The kitchen is small, but visible so that helps with peace of mind. Outdoor seating was very nice, that's where I chose to sit. Whole restaurant is open when it's warm so might not be the best option if you're looking for an indoor spot. The food-amazing!! The Zalcotex Hemden are gone - here comes a modern fresh place for freshly made pitas. You will smell the bakery when you enter: warm, soft pitas are made in an oven. Young students are preparing the fillings for the pitas / all very creative and good. But not great. I was not struck. Rather uncomfortable chairs, flimsy napkins (which are crucial when you are eating with your hands) and a boss who is giving her management instructions for everyone to hear (as she works on her laptop at the food bar). Everyone is friendly and has a smile- except for her. The price is affordable but very high for what you get to eat. read more

This dish had so much potential but there was a lack of salt and the mango chutney was inside on the bottom of the bread with the chicken piled on top which eventually turned into a soggy, drippy mess. My 5 year old and I stumbled across this restaurant after our first afternoon/evening in Vienna. We were looking for a quick bite to eat and something that my child would eat. We found this place that claimed to specialize in "street food". The food was so excellent and delicious that we went back 2 other times. The restaurant has menus in German and English. One side has hot plates, and the other side has sandwiches/pita meals. We especially liked the fish and chips sandwich (fried fish and french fries in a sandwich) and the shwarma plate. The rotisserie chicken was good but didn't particularly stand out. The french fries, however, were excellent. The staff and employees were friendly and courteous and spoke English very well. Really great street food in Vienna! Not only is this place tucked in the corner of a popular street in Vienna, the inside is very hip, modern, and has a very casual vibe. We ordered the chicken shwarma in a pita, the mango rotisserie chicken also in a pita, veal with mushrooms, roasted sweet potatoes sided with tzatziki and salad. We also ordered the fries as a side, and these had a very unique shape and were very crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The pitas are freshly baked often and you can see them as you walk in just waiting to be made into the perfect pita pocket. The chicken shwarma in the pita has a lot of herbs, cabbages, carrots, and on top it has pomegranite seeds and this creamy white garlic sauce. The chicken is also very nicely marinated, tender and juicy. Everything we ordered was delicious and the portions were more than generous. So if you want to eat something other than a wiener schnitzel, I highly recommend eating here. read more

This place hit the spot. It's very hard to find something somewhat healthy or offer a healthier selection of foods in Vienna. My husband had the chicken pita and it was quite tasty.
