Japanese Drumsticks

Good service and plenty of seating at lunch. Park in the lot on the side street. I had the boneless bbq ribs, japanese drumsticks and mongolian beef Boneless Ribs- interesting chewy texture but this was on the sweet side even without the sauce and I would skip this next time. Japanese Drumsticks- 2 orders next time please! Intense crispiness and a great exterior crunch. Odd sauce pairing- but I doctored the ribs sauce with soy for a better dip. Mongolian Beef- fresh crisp veggies and a nice savory sauce- would order again

ggie Heaven was such a nice place to go to! Restaurant has a relaxing vibe to it, and place is typically busy but not too busy where you won't be able to get a table. Staff is quick to attend and very kind to take accommodations and answer questions. The rolls were good, pretty close to shrimp honestly. The peanut plate was delicious. There was a sweet and savory taste to the meal, and everything was just so good. Everything on the plate mixed very well with each other and every bite was a delight. The beef looking plate was just as good in its own way. The chicken drumsticks are A FAVORITE!! Wow those are so delicious and crispy. The tea is always a delight to drink with the meals. Can't remember the other two meals, but they were all good. My party split them all four ways to try everything and it was delightful. I don't feel icky after eating so much, and the portions are huge. Waiter was very patient with my grandmother who 1) doesn't speak english 2) is diabetic so we had to find something safe for her to eat. 110% recommend this place to anyone. It's vegetarian/vegan only, but honestly the food was better than meals I've had with meat. Food felt good to eat, i didn't feel sick or overly full and heavy from it all. Pricing isn't so bad, considering the quality and quantity is very high.

5/5 - the best vegan spot ever!!! I love this place. Sushi and Chinese dishes are sooo good especially for being all Vegan.

I've been a loyal customer for years and I love their creative takes on food. Vegan but food for everyone.. I had the Thai mango sushi and my favorite Vege duck appy.. Professional Service delicious food

Sushi rolls are amazing, my favs r the dragon, rainbow, phoenix, and mango thai, the carribean roll and coconut roll r also super great. I've tried the vegetarian duck and that is very tasty too. Highly reccommend getting their Thai tea boba as well. In the picture is: vegetarian duck and the rainbow dragon and phoenix roll

I came here for my friends birthday party it was a big one about 12 of us. They have a lot of cool options it's all vegetable but made to imitate meat . We had a wide array of dishes. I loved the curry soup , the ribs, and the sesame chicken . The food is very filling and portions are big. We all had to go bags after . It's a pretty good place for vegetarians and has a lot of gluten free options . The waiter was nice but was a little slow he took a while to take our orders but overall good place !

Ice cream partially melted

The people are great! The quality of the food has diminished since it changed ownership! It is disappointing. However, the vegan cakes are awesome. The attached pic includes ice cream that clearly is not consistent and that was partially melted and refrozen. This is not the first time either. Across the board, there has been a decline. I won't be ordering from them again.

This review is not about anything BUT the Kashrut Supervision. While it's in Teaneck, one should one that this Restaurant IS NOT under the hashgacha of there Rabbincal Council of Bergen County. I made the mistake of making a reservation there & almost went there for dinner, before someone mentioned this point to me. I was foolish in thinking that kosher in Teaneck means RCBC hashgacha. NOPE. Be better than me & look at each establishment's kasrut supervision carefully.

A7. Assorted Steamed Dim Sum

Overall Thoughts: The quintessential spot for vegan Asian fusion food-- from Chinese to Thai to Japanese to Vietnamese (with some Caribbean & Mexican too). The menu is massive, perfect for sharing with groups large and small, and the prices are good and reasonable. The service was quick and attentive, and the restaurant itself is spacious and comfortable. There's a free parking lot nearby too. All the dishes-- even the vegetables-- were less flavorful than traditional Asian restaurant food, but they still tasted good. Overall, you can't go wrong with Veggie Heaven if you're looking for a diverse variety of vegan Asian food. Food I tried: - Eggplant with Garlic Sauce (4/5): This dish is a lot less flavorful than those in traditional Chinese restaurants (likely due to the lack of MSG), but it was still pretty good, with a distinct Chinese flair. - Vegetable Peking Duck (4/5): The mock duck was quite good and well-made; the texture was nice and stringy and pretty meat-like. It's not exactly similar to traditional "mock duck" as the traditional one is made from wheat gluten, and this one is gluten-free. The dish also came with flour tortillas instead of traditional bao buns for wrapping, which still tasted good but was lighter and less filling. - Assorted Steamed Dim Sum (3.9/5): These were pretty good; I enjoyed the different skins of each one. The inside filling of the "shumai" was mostly seasoned rice, while the dumpling fillings were all of the same veggies. It would've been nice to have some more diverse fillings, or some mock meats as fillings. -- Price (relative to peers): 4.4/5 Food: 4/5 Ambience: 4.8/5 Service: 4.8/5 Overall Value: 4.3/5

Food: 3.75/5 Service: 5/5 I love the purpose of Veggie Heaven and its intention to provide alternatives of meat-oriented dishes. The servers were friendly, and there was plenty of tables to sit at. My friend and I tried the shrimp tempura roll, falafels, and boba tea. Here were our thoughts: * Shrimp Tempura Roll (5/5) Given this is a vegetarian take on shrimp tempura, it was surprisingly good! I would definitely be open to getting this again if the menu wasn't so large and interesting. * Falafels (1/5) I'm no professional taster at falafels, but this just wasn't good. It was too mushy, and the sauce wasn't very good. My friend and I agreed we could skip on this next time. * Boba tea (2.5/5) It was an average boba tea. I was thirsty and craving something like this, so it worked. However, there are other boba shops in the area that are definitely better I would like to come back again some time and try different things! It's a unique find as there aren't many restaurants that do vegetarian East Asian food.

Very good. Fast service and healthy and importantly, good tasting food. Veggie egg rolls were great just wished they were not deep fried.

On the road Boston to DC. Lunch time, I'm hungry and need to eat. I'm on a restricted diet:…read moreprotein, veggies, carbs. We find Yalla, looks good. Good Yelp reviews. We enter. Tables of young men, looks like a yeshiva (Orthodox Jewish school) must be nearby. I order shawarma platter: shawarma, several salads, fries. Spouse orders a shawarma sandwich. Salads are spot-on: sautéed onions, sautéed mushrooms, chickpeas, Israeli salad, red cabbage salad, guacamole. Each lovingly and perfectly prepared. Chicken shawarma is flavorful, could have been moister but no complaints. Service friendly and efficient. Value typical for Kosher, $44 for our meals & drinks. Would definitely recommend and return

Large take out business but perfect for a night out if you're looking for great food and have no time to dally. Portions are HUGE! The 2 of us split a platter and added 2 pitas. We had a hard time finishing all of the food. I saw most people ended up with doggy bags. It was a sweltering night and they immediately brought over a huge pitcher of water which was most appreciated. Ample street parking. Go for the great food and service. Read about this place, wanted to try it, and today we were in town for a wedding and needed lunch…read more Ta-DAAAH! I had in my mind a superior dining experience in Israel, a similar schnitzel-in-pita storefront in Hod HaSharon. There, because it's Israel, every aspect was superior: fresh, crispy, assortment of salads, and super fast. I was hoping for something similar here. Orange and chrome mid-century modern decor. Simple menu. Good service. Clean. Super impressed at first glance. I got schnitzel in pita, spouse got same in laffa bread, daughter got schawarma in laffa. All delicious and fresh. Service was friendly. It took a few minutes to get our order and they were not particularly busy, luckily we were not in a rush. Once the food came, it was worth the short wait! Bottom line: it's not Hod HaSharon, but pretty darn good for Teaneck! Would definitely return here! The only negative is that parking seems to be an issue. We visited this restaurant at 12 noon on a Sunday and it was impossible to park. I don't know where the people in all these cars were shopping, I sure didn't see a high amount of foot traffic. I have a feeling people just parked and left their cars, maybe attending an event elsewhere. So if you visit: plan time to park and walk!
