This is a nice veggie Grill with surprisingly more seating than I expected from looking at it from the outside. There's a nice little patio outside when the weather is nice to enjoy your food. We got a wrap and it was really good! The chick'n was nice and the lettuce was fresh. We ate inside and the air conditioning felt really nice in the heat. I did struggle to find a properly sized trash can to throw anything away when we were done but the staff behind the counter was happy to throw away stuff for us. I like this location and there's lots of healthy food nearby which feels really refreshing. Parking is really difficult though but this area is notorious for that. I had a good lunch here and I will probably be back soon when I am in the mood for some vegan alternative offerings. read more

On our way back from Santa Monica my daughter was hungry so we were recommended to come to veggie Grill by somebody at the San Diego Safari ,so we stopped by 10 o'clock at night, (so we love the fact that they were open late cause you can't find a lot of vegan food open late). April was very pleasant and helpful and suggestive as well as Igor as he delivered our food. Everything was hot. He checked back on us. He thanked us on our way out . I have always loved Veggie Grill & wish there was at least one of them located closer to where I live. I was so bummed when most of the VG locations closed in the San Fernando Valley. I don't mind driving to Burbank because all of their food is consistently fresh & tasty. Even if you're not Vegan (I'm not) there's something yummy on their menu to choose from. Today I had the Beyond Burger (no cheese) and it was so good! I love their house sauce! I had some of their fries which had a nice crisp to them and seasoned perfectly! Service was excellent! I've been curious for a long time, but never was intrigued enough to stop in. Last night was the time and it wasn't too bad. Service wasn't extremely friendly, but they weren't hostile, so that was a good start! Seating wasn't very comfortable, and was a bit of a mismash of seemingly piecemeal tables and chairs. It wasn't really clean, either, but we did find someone and asked for a rag to wipe a table, and she was lovely to get it for us. As for the food, we shared a bowl of the Moroccan lentil soup, which was very good. It could stand some more spice, but we did like it just the same. My wife got the Loaded Burrito which had great flavors but could be more 'loaded' with the protein, at least to offset the tortilla that dominated. I had the salmon plate with buttery corn and brown rice on the side, and it was interesting. I think it odd that it can be called salmon, but whatever. It did have a surprisingly decent look and consistency. It was just short of rubbery which was great, and had some decent flavor, but if it was 4 oz. I would be shocked. It was a very small piece of 'fish.' Corn and rice were good. Not extremely impressed by their beverage selection, but they do offer fountain iced tea, so that was good. While it wasn't great, I would return for the soup and burrito (but would ask for more 'protein.' read more

The Service: Our first time trying Veggie Grill. Andrew was helping us at the counter. He was super patient and nice! The service was efficient and thoughtful. Excellent customer service! The Food: "I can't believe they are NOT meat!" That was our comment after the first bite. Definitely try the Southwestern Nachos. It really tastes like ground beef! Huge portion and perfect to share. Crispy nacho chips with lots of toppings. Many salad options~ fresh ingredients and lots of colorful vegetables. The food plating is nice and man~ that's a lot of vege! Love it! If you have little kiddos, order their kids meal. It comes with drinks, fries and even cookie! Very good price too! The Parking: Private parking lot (free). Even the side street parking is free too! I love their outdoor seating areas, one with shade and one without. The restroom is outside the store next to the outdoor patio. Don't forget to ask for code to use the restroom. read more

Veggie Grill is always great. I've been coming here for years. The Southwest Nachos are my usual thing, but the last couple times I've been I've branched out. The buffalo chik'n salad? INCREDIBLE!! Their new protein plates? So good! Okay, I will say...the Beyond Steak was maybe a biiiit too realistic for me, but my husband loved it because it was very close to real steak apparently. I haven't eaten meat in forever, but it freaked me out. Vibes on the patio are always great. I love that they bring the food to you, but our food was cold when we ordered the protein plates on our most recent visit. That menu was brand new, so I'm not sure if they're still working out the kinks or what. I don't usually have issues with service here--dine-in or pickup--so I imagine they'll figure it out. I've been coming to the Toluca Lake location for a while now and always have a great experience, but I was compelled to finally write a review to highlight the real star here--Jorge! Every single time I visit, Jorge is wearing all the hats and seamlessly managing whatever comes his way. On top of balancing so much, he greets every single customer with a genuine smile and a fantastic attitude. It is so rare to see someone take this much true pride in their work. We have been going to veggie grill for years, at least 10 years at present. This is now the only remaining location in the valley and the one we have been frequenting since the others closed 1-2 years ago. We drive around 30 mins to get here. We were excited by the next level acquisition as we used to live in the Bay Area and remember their food fondly as well. Our last visit (which may be our last ever) was a disaster. The new menu included significant price hikes on almost all items. I understand prices are going up here but for a salad a burger and 2 kids meals it was nearly $80. If the price increases happened but quality was maintained it would be one thing but the food quality and staff/service have both gone downhill. Half the lettuce in the salad I ordered had turned color. This was easily visible - and it means that the cook saw this, and just chose to serve it anyways. The salad also had an insane amount of raw onion on it covering half the salad. The onion had been sitting cut for a while based on the overpowering odor/taste. While there I saw a gloved staff member eating a fry while wiping down silverware, and another staff speaking incredible rudely to a customer who asked a question when odering, stating blunty, "the menu is right there if you want to read". We mentioned something at our visit and emailed afterward only to receive a canned 'sorry' message. This is super disappointing to say but we will not be returning for the foreseeable future. It is possible this was an anomaly but after 2 separate visits with these issues I think more than likely they may not be. read more

I was a bit nervous some years back when a bunch of locations closed... and I'm hoping being bought out by Next Level is what's needed to keep this delicious vegan eatery alive! Also- side note that I've eaten at Next Level in Bend, Or., and they have the BOMB vegan burgers!! But alas, we are not always in burger mood, and this is why I love all the salads, wraps, apps, bowls, and Sammies at VG. My family has always enjoyed an occasional trip to Veggie Grill. I have no idea what "Next Level" is except an unnecessary extension to a brand name that is confusing, because there is no context for it. The options are great, with the primary focus on various plant based meat options that attempt to replicate standard beef chicken and fish dishes. The results are delightful, and quite filling. My other mild complaint is that some people just don't want fake meat in their vegan or vegetarian options. I happen to love it, but I wish there were fresh food options that weren't fake meat focused too. Just a bean and cheese and rice burrito would be an example. The Burbank location has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options. The outdoor patio is lovely on a nice day. The staff is also quick and courteous. When it comes to the fries, opt for the chipotle dipping sauce, as it is much more interesting than the ranch or plain ketchup. Its also a great place to take kids. read more

Their prices are fair and they even have a loyalty program that is worth joining. They have good seating inside and outside in case you want to bring your pup. Every now and then I am craving some delicious vegan food and Veggie grill did not disappoint. So for lunchtime we decided to head over to this branch. I ordered my favorite Far East bowl still satisfying as ever. We also ordered Basil burger, fish tacos and the new truffle honey chicken sandwich which is now our new favorite super smash hit! Staff are helpful and attentive even suggesting some new item on the menu to try. This location offers plenty of parking space, indoor and patio dining option which is great. We used to love this place, but much like everywhere else the prices go up and quality goes down. I do not recommend ordering via Uber Eats. We ordered the Buffalo chicken and you'd think you'd get ranch with these. There's an option for no ranch only, so you'd think ranch would automatically come. We've only had this issue one other time. We had three orders of chicken, two were Buffalo and one was naked and only the naked chicken came with a side of bbq sauce. There was no ranch for either order of Buffalo chicken. This chicken was expensive but also inedible because there was no ranch. There was also only three tiny sprigs of celery, and to boot, they tasted like they sat in the heat for a few days. The chicken is incredibly spicy so that ranch would have gone great with this. If you have to have Veggie Grill, I highly suggest ordering take out to ensure you get what you want or just eating there. This was so disappointing. read more

Great location with plenty of parking. Parking is available on the street and they have a designated lot. The staff is always so friendly and cheerful! I love how many sauces they give you - definitely do not be shy to ask for more because they will happily give it to you! The restaurant is very clean. The restrooms are located outside and require a code. It is a busy location. My personal favorite would be the Buffalo wraps - their Buffalo sauce is delicious. The consistency and taste was slightly different this time I went - it was less spicy than usual. The ranch is house made and delicious. I was not the biggest fan of the katsu sliders. The meat used for the Katsu is impossible meat (had a unique smell and taste) the pickled veggies made it taste better. The carne Asada taco was flavorful and had the texture of real carne Asada. One taco was about $5... a bit pricey. I would come back :) read more

we have ordered several times and it's been absolutely fantastic but that last 2 times had issues. the order from yesterday was missing the entire tostada bowl for the southwest taco salad(photo provided). the item is $24.50 UE gave me a whole $5.49 refund yippie. also the portions have shrunk significantly even when you order extra tex mex crumbles it's still only about .5 cup the previous order was weird too so much water in the southwest taco salad lettuce I had to dump it out of the container and the mac and cheese was awful. otherwise the flavor and quality is great. read more

Ho Ho Holy guacamole! Incredible, flavorful Vegan food! With options like Thai rice bowls, burritos, burgers, Chikn tenders and those iconic Sweet Heart Fries, there is something for everyone. They also have made from scratch Carrot Cake, Belgian Chocolate Cake and cookies. Drink wise they have lemonade, teas, root beer and water. No alcohol is served here, sorry margarita lovers. The Thai rice bowl came with this incredible coconut curry sauce that was addictive and authentic tasting. The barbecue burger that I got was extremely flavorful and filling, I added avocado to it as well. The vegan meat served here is definitely well seasoned and it is definitely tofu, it's in no way similar to meat but it's very healthy & fiber rich. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating plus decent unisex bathrooms! Service was also incredibly friendly and fast. I appreciated how nice they were to us and extremely welcoming. The takeover by Next Level has been pretty smooth, and I love the new additions, and especially the fact that the new ownership is using cleaner, more often organic ingredients. I also hope they continue to keep some of the staples from the previous VG stage, like the salads, VG classic burger, bowls and more. I come here all the time and I appreciate that you can still get relatively affordable plant based foods with the option to be either pretty healthy or just fully indulge -- sometimes you just want a burger! I miss the days when there were all the snacks (green beans, etc) that you could add on, though I am glad they still have the cauliflower and Mac and cheese, as well as the fries, of course. I don't want to be greedy, as they have to streamline their products to make this work and keep these stores open (please prioritize THAT!), which is tough right now, but it would be amazing to have more sides and appetizers options. Bring back the pre-Mas nachos, for instance! I have always and forever loved their sweet potato fries (their regular fries aren't my cuppa tea but my boyfriend loves them). If you have the app it's really easy to build up points and get discounts. I feel like I'm always using points and promotions for discounts. In part because of that, you save a lot by shopping directly, at least in my experience. Please keep existing, Veggie Grill! We need you now more than ever. read more

I want to start off by saying I've been coming to veggie grill for years now and it has always been one of my favorite meat-free restaurants so it sucks to have to be writing this review.. sorry veggie grill :( After a little while of not coming to veggie grill I was very excited to come back to one of my faves but I was EXTREMELY disappointed by my latest visit. The portion sizes were a lot smaller, the quality wasn't great and mine and my boyfriend's food was cold, not to mention I had gotten a side of onion rings and received about 5 tiny, cold, and overly hard onion rings which I had paid almost $7 extra for. I left wishing my boyfriend and I hadn't stopped here and spent over $45 on very cold and mid food :( Plz do better veggie grill read more
