My wife didn't like it but I think it's because she knows what it is hehehe. The pastor was ok. It was kind of dry with not a ton of flavour. The burrito was the same as we ordered the pastor. I wish it was carnitas that we ordered for the burrito. Also, make sure you try the salsas before putting them on your tacos as the red is pretty spicy! All in all it is an amazing spot! Some backstory: my wife and I love ice cream. We've visited at least one ice cream spot on every date we've ever gone on. We ate gelato for 15 days straight when we went to Italy for our honeymoon. So when my wife became pregnant earlier this year, an ice cream themed baby shower seemed like an obvious choice. Things didn't go exactly to plan and our baby was born 12 weeks early and has spent the last month and a half in the NICU. Our wonderful friends still planned an incredible baby shower for us and family and friends flew in from across the country to be here for it. As part of the ice cream themed baby shower, our friends paid a (not inconsiderable) amount of money to book an ice cream truck to come by the baby shower as a surprise for two parents who have had a very hard time lately. The day before the event, the owner of Mr. Cool messaged our friends to tell them that someone else had booked them for the agreed upon time and they would not be able to make it during the party (this service had been booked in July, three months ago). Instead of doing the reasonable thing and apologizing and refunding the money, Ana, the owner of this business, refused to issue a refund, and stated that they would show up anyways long after the party was over. When my friend told them that they would be coming after them for a refund, they laughed and said, and I quote, 'Good luck with that.' No ice cream truck showed up to the party and they insisted they would be keeping the money my friends had paid 'on principle'. What kind of person would do that? What kind of business owner would not only double book themselves (which, fine, it happens), but then refuse to take accountability, refuse to show up within a timeframe that worked for their customers, refuse to offer a refund for the error, and then laugh and keep the money you had been paid for a service you never even made the effort to fulfill? Who would do that to two parents who have spent every DAY for the past six weeks in a hospital and the friends and family who showed up to support them? If you're going to book with Mr. Cool, I'm begging you to consider any other option. I have an ice cream maker at home and will make you ice cream myself. This business does not deserve a single cent for how they treat paying customers and will likely treat you the same. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
