Let's say I was very "switzerland" (Neutral expectations). I went to pick it up (versus delivery) and the restaurant was packed. They were really set up for a romantic Valentine's event! Roving singers, roses and valentine's throughout the place. Best yet - a full complement of staff to make sure everyone had a good time. I was just sitting and waiting for my order so I had lots of time (reasonable time) to watch what was going on, and it was impressive. (I used to be in service in restaurants, so I had a practiced eye on what was going on) Back to the food. It was delicious. The portions were good, and the condiments were plentiful. It was flamed at the table, crispy on the outside and nicely melted. Served with pita bread it was delicious. The Greek salad was nice and fresh with cucumber, tomatoes and olives. My husband had moussaka and his comment was that he has had better. I had roast lamb. It was very dry and overcooked. Our entrees were served with generous portions of rice and lovely marinated potatoes We shared a bourgatsu for dessert and it was also very good. We would probably give New York New York another try since we did have a very good experience on our previous visit but last evening was very disappointing.
