I was contacted by Cristopher from San-Jose. He answered all my questions promptly. Also, the moving team was available in the morning which was required for me. On the move day, Cristopher and his team arrived on time. I paid for 2 man/h, however, there were 3 guys because one guy was a new one and, as Cris mentioned, will be trained during our move. I packed the majority of my items before the moving, but for some pieces of my furniture, I had not prepared enough wraps. It was not a problem at all. I informed the moving team and they took care of it. I had a standard set of furniture for a 1 bedroom apartment and a pretty heavy one-piece sofa. It was the most challenging part because of the narrow entryway and the fact that it was needed to be delivered on the second floor. And They made it! I hired the movers from Vector Moving and storage to transport my belongings from a 3 bedroom condo to a 4 bedroom. After much consideration and the recommendations of serval friends I decided to use their movers. Compared to other moving firms' quotes the service was much better than I had anticipated. All of my furniture was antique or vintage style and was bulkier and heavier than modern pieces. The good news is that Vector Moving and storage crew were prepared. When it came to packing they were pros. He used double layers of furniture covers and cushioned each corner of the pieces. And protected my furniture from any damage during transport by padding the walls and placing mats on the stairs when they finished packing it. They avoided slamming into the walls and took care not to drop anything. My electronics and dishes were likewise packed with the same cautiousness. I've got recommendation from a friend and decided to use Vector Moving after a bit of comparison shopping. I was moving within South Bay area. The move went quite smoothly and even got completed ahead of quoted schedule. All my furniture was disassembled, padded, moved, and reassembled in the new place. They even moved the upright piano with the rest of the furniture for no additional charge. The rest of the goods were moved as well without any issues. I did not use the packing service, so cannot comment on its quality. Overall the move was handled with care and I'm satisfied with the results. The only recommendation to the company would be to pay more attention the the tools of the trade. Stair stepping dolly and larger loading ramp would make the whole job much easier. . read more

I did two jobs with this company. One local from San Francisco to San Jose and 2nd move from San Jose to San Diego. Both times I was amazed how professional everything went. Movers showed up on time and protected all my furniture. Both times I received curtesy call before movers arrived as I was promised by sales guy who helped me with booking.
