Here are some examples: Changed a faucet that dripped for YEARS that I was told was not fixable. Not only was it not dripping but he closed up the rusty old hole and made the tile look like the hole was never there. Had the uuuugliest fluorescent light in the living room, like "Joe vs the volcano" level, he replaced it, made it look like it was just all a bad dream. He replaced and fixed the kitchen door so it was even with the floor, when the door would open it would get stuck because the floor was not even, so he did some mathematical engineering and got it to work. He stabilized the dried out wooden pergola over the patio with wood and new metal supports so it didn't have to be torn down, saved a lot of money. He was able to design and construct from scratch a gorgeous washer and dryer enclosure that replaced a UGLY UGLY termite eaten shed that disintegrated when you barely touched it, rusted nails coming out, doors falling off the hinges. Throughout the process, he was very communicative, asking questions that involved functional design, placement, aesthetics. Even matched the hardware to the fences, which really was supercool. He also replaced a variety of ceiling fans, ceiling lights, bathroom faucet, drain, lights, kitchen drains, electrical plugs, fix a fence, and problem solve regarding how to hide wires, electrical cords. Long story short, I would highly recommend Brandon for house repairs, fixes, and design problem solving. His work is very thorough, detail and quality oriented, and he is very professional and is really an expert at what he does.

The photos are before and after of a weird built in that didn't make sense in a bathroom. He built it into a useful cabinet with a mirror. The other photo is an oddly built wall that he turned into a useful storage space. Would definitely recommend!

First off the staff here is knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. I asked so many questions and…read morethey were able to help me develop a game plan for the project I was going to start. Second, I am a hobbyist, and this place is awesome if you're looking for quality products. Only a poor man can afford cheap tools and I've learned that the hard way. Although Amazon is convenient, it's not good quality and I love the Rockler woods has compromised their quality. Third, they have a lot of products you won't find at the main brand hardware stores. Their wood quality is significantly better if you're trying to make something nice and they have more specialized tools for wood working. I love this store, I know you will to.

My partner and I were wondering if the class would really last for three hours, and it ran over because the teacher made sure each student learned and used the tools safely and correctly. Being walked through, step-by-step, how to create a simple cutting board was an extravagant and most excellent adventure. With all of the tools and machines present, we were able to move through the steps easily, confidently, and with encouragement from Jim! The shop, itself, has everything a woodworker would need. More than that, older members of the woodworking community often walked by and gave us tips and tricks as to how to get a better cut or do the step with more ease. A man who was a woodworker for 20 years gave me advice as o used the croll machine and it helped my movement! Love it here!! Can't wait to come back!!!

Fix It Nick - Before shower filter

Those of us in…read moreRancho Cucamonga know how hard the water is, and I'd recently purchased several removable shower filters to help combat the issue. I was able to uninstall the shower head, install the filter and reinstall the shower head in one bathroom, but I didn't have the tools or elbow grease to do the same in the second bathroom. Within minutes of submitting the request, I received a message from Nick with his cell phone number, asking me to send him photos of the work. I texted him and he responded quickly confirming he could do the work with an estimate and potential time to schedule the job. He required a small deposit via Zelle. I was a little skeptical about the deposit, but he affirmed his business means more to him than the deposit and his word is worth more as well. He was able to get me on the schedule the following day and confirmed a time later that evening. That day, he texted me telling me when he was on his way and with an estimated time of arrival. When he arrived, he got straight to work. He confirmed the shower head was REALLY on there! He was able to remove it, as well as the stupid flow restrictor I'd asked the previous plumber to not install--but he did anyway--threaded the connections, and installed the shower filter and shower head quickly. He also gave me an opportunity to douse the shower head in Lime Away before reinstalling! We tested the connection and he made one minor adjustment and then was done! He charged me his minimum rate and it was worth it. Very nice gentleman, very professional and honest! I appreciate he takes Zelle and Venmo. He informed me of some of the other types of projects he does as well, and I intend to use his services in the future! Thank you, Nick!

Upon hubby saying we were interested in working with his company, we were visited late that same day by project manager Omer (aka David.) Upon entering our home, Omer (David) was friendly, professional, and clearly explained the building process to us. After walking around our backyard space and taking measurements, we requested have a walkway built from our driveway to the backyard using stone pavers, gravel and plants for our sloped backyard, and something to be done with our spacious side backyard. We appreciated that Omer (David) shared our excitement about our backyard project and was very responsive regarding any questions or concerns we had regarding our backyard project and responded promptly to our text messages. We were excited and surprised when construction began the next day and were impressed by how quickly the construction team took care of weeds which plagued hubby for months. Whenever told Omer (David) In times that Omer (David) was unavailable, he sent his assistant Moses to physically come and provide status updates on our backyard project. After a full week of work by Omer's construction team, our backyard project has been completed and we are elated over the final result. We would definitely work with Omer (David) and Moses again in the future and would also recommend Speciality Builders Inc to anyone looking to beautify their backyard space.

He walked us through the process and everything involved to have my backyard done. The quote came out to roughly $23,000 for basic pavers and turf. While it seemed pricey they assured us everything that has to be filed to the HOA would be handled by them. My HOA required all new construction homes to have their backyards completed within a year of purchase and they assured me that they would handle the procedural processes to have all work approved and filed with the HOA. This took place in November of 2024, now in February of 2026 I am being held to a violation for no notice of completion by my HOA and must attend a hearing for not giving notice of completion. They are not even aware of the work that was done. Ron's partner (I think the name is Tyler) was the one that I provided all the necessary documents to. They alleged that they had a partnership as a preferred contractor with my HOA and everything would be done smoothly. Clearly this was at least incompetence or at worst dishonest business practices taking advantage of young new homeowners who had just started a family. They also assured me that the first three months of payments would be covered and that I would receive a check for it and I never did, when asked by me following up I was ghosted. Additionally the work was not up to the "high standards" they stated. When I was called by the office to give my approval upon completion I pointed out several items that caught my attention and was told by them that I have to say yes because it is easier for them to fix any issues through the warranty process, they were upset about my call as well and prompted an in person visit by them. We are both two full time professionals with a two year old so the issues fell on the back burner because we were just happy to have a landscaped backyard for our son to play in and celebrate his 1st birthday the next month rather than dirt. The main reason we chose this company was because they assured us they would remove the barriers of the HOA by handling it themselves, we feel cheated and lied to and has left us in a terrible position. If we had known that they were not preferred partners with our HOA we would have never done any work with them. Which why I am sure they brought it up in the first place. 10/10 would never work with this company again if I won't have to and would never recommend it to anyone else as they are clearly not fans of honest business practices.
