Miguel and his team transformed my old outdated sink into something modern and stylish. Would definitely recommend

    Pull out quartz cutting board

For my quartz countertop project, I reached out to multiple contractors and decided to go with Miguel's bid because 1) his estimate was quick, accurate, and reasonable and 2) his 5 star reviews were impressive. He did not disappoint. He arrived on time to take measurements and his demeanor was very courteous and professional. He began working on schedule and ensured the work was completed to my satisfaction. Miguel finished the work as quoted and even went above and beyond by fabricating a quartz cutting board and window sill piece. All his is work was outstanding and clean. I'm very happy I went with So Cal Granite and Marble and will recommend him to everyone who wants professional results at a fair rate.

Miguel and his associates were awesome. I had a island countertop and a kitchen countertop installed by Miguel and his team. I shopped around, and SoCal Granite and Marble was the most reasonably priced option. They arrived on time for the agreed installation. The team was extremely professional and courteous. It had just rained the night before my install, and they were very cautious about tracking mud into the home. As they were working in and out of my home. As they were working, they were very detailed and thorough. They did not hesitate to provide me with updates when asked. Overall, I am very happy and satisfied with the work SoCal Granite and Marble was able to provide. They have a customer for life.

Miguel was awesome. Him and his team were very friendly and professional. Work at home and was never impacted by the noise or work being done. Always cleaned up and the end of each day and was very quick to respond to any change request or questions we had on the project. I love the way my design came out. No delays during the project. Would highly recommend and will be using again for future projects.

    Delta Kitchen Sink and Faucet

TLDR: Great communication. Great pricing. Great workmanship. 5/5 recommend. I recently reached out to Miguel for assistance with cutting our countertops to fit our new kitchen sink and faucet. He promptly replied and provided me with a quote that i quickly approved of, so i proceeded to setup an appointment with him. Miguel generously took the time at 8pm to call me and explain the entire process and answer all my questions. Later that week he showed up on time and had our countertop ready to go in 2 hours. Highly recommend his services to anyone shopping around.

SoCal G&M is hands down the best deal you will find in the IE for your countertops!! We recently moved into a new home that had Plastic Laminate countertops and we wanted to replace them with Quartz. we contacted 7 or 8 vendors for quotes including SoCal Granite and Marble. Miguel was by far the most competitively priced and transparent. He provided me with the suppliers he typically works with but was willing to go down to a different one I was looking at to set up an account. He broke everything out in his quote: Material, Demo, New Sub-Tops, and Installation. I felt extremely confident I was making the right choice. He was even able to squeeze me in the same week! The quality of work was outstanding, and Miguel asked a lot of questions to make sure he was providing what we wanted. overall just a great experience - I will be recommending him to friends and family!

STOP LOOKING & CALL MIGUEL! Miguel at SoCal granite is so efficient and the best price you'll find out here. Don't waste your time scheduling estimates with other companies they won't be able to beat Miguel. Great communication, always reachable and works proficiently. We found the stone we liked and he picked it up and had it here the next day. He gives you options and knows exactly what will work for your space. Demo and removal of existing tile, clean cuts and finishings, installed sink, full backsplash and only took two days. He was able to use left over cuts for another countertop in the kitchen. You will be so satisfied. One thing you always want when entrusting a person with your home repairs is someone who is honest, won't take advantage of you and will do a good job. Miguel goes over and beyond these expectations. Any hesitancy you may have will subside and you'll be left with complete satisfaction.

    Love it!

Picture perfect!! We found Miguel on offer up. I messaged him asking for an estimate to get our kitchen countertops done. He responded quickly and was able to come out the following day to get measurements to provide the estimate. When we decided to go with him the process for everything went smoothly(we definetly were nervous about this since we did find him on offer up).He would respond to messages quickly and sent daily updates and pictures of the work being done. The overall outcome of the work and experience was great and I would highly recommend him.

Repipe complete, then the builder came in. The project was to replace the island, lower cabinets of one wall, and repaint the kitchen. They took our check and started. Then virtually no progress in June, July, August, September, and October. I eventually drove to their shop to get my cabinets as they were unable to return them. We reached out to Doug at the beginning of November and he said they could help us out. They custom built and installed our island. They rebuilt our custom kitchen cabinets, and finished the kitchen painting. We were asking them to come in and finish a project that they had no history or familiarity with what we wanted, right before Thanksgiving. Doug and Eric spent time talking and working with us so we were all on the same page. Schedules made, notification messages of arrivals, and we always had a clear understanding of what will be done each day. We hope to have them back for other projects, and have recommended them to friends and family. THANK YOU CustomBuilt-ins !!

It was not a small project and I had very specific design style that I wanted for the unit. Jeannie and Doug were great to work with. Jeannie put together an initial quote after discussing my design ideas and giving me feedback on what would work and the type of wood that would be needed. Doug worked with me to create 3d CAD models of the variations I was considering to visualize what each would look like before ai finalized the design. They were very quick to respond to my questions and requests for changes during installation. The final product looked just as I had in mind.

He identified the issue quickly and highlighted the lazy workmanship from our kitchen installers (Taranto Construction, Inc in Claremont, CA) who were subcontracted through Lowe's (who we purchased our kitchen from). The shelves collapsed because of loose screws from lazy installers at Taranto Construction, Inc. It's infuriating to have to pay someone to come solve an issue that goes back to completely loose screws in the hardware that would've taken an extra 5 seconds to properly tighten at the initial install. But they know people won't see it, so they cut corners. DO NOT EVER USE TARANTO CONSTRUCTION INC in Claremont CA for a kitchen install, or any Lowe's in the surrounding area, as this is who they refer the work to. After spending a short amount of time with Walter, it's clear he knows what he is doing and is a professional. He even tightened and adjusted other cabinet doors in our kitchen he noticed issues with that had nothing to do with the cabinet shelves he came to fix. He was a very nice guy and I was glad I called him. Thank you very much.

Walter worked with us to pick the right product and colors. We went with Shinnoki real wood veneer panels. They are beautiful and durable. Once they got the veneer up, they routed then hand-filed all of the openings. Then that meticulously painted the face frames to match the veneer. They even painted around the drawers where you can see very little of the painting they did. That shows a lot of pride! Walter also gave us the look of frameless cabinets even though we would have had to replace the cabinet boxes in order to make them frameless. That's a lot of extra work. We got a custom job for less than the price of a non-custom job. In the photos you can see the detail I'm talking about. I've included before and after pictures. The before pictures are all dark, ugly drawers and doors. The after pictures are the modern, two-tone look. In one photo in which I have a drawer pulled out with hot pads in it, Walter designed that and made it fit. There was not a drawer in there before because it's under the stove and the gas line was in the way. But Walter moved it. Walter's very conscientious and not afraid to tell you if he thinks something is not going to look good. He'll do whatever you want, but we learned that he knows what he's talking about. As a true Libra, I struggled with deciding whether to simply replace the countertops or completely remodel the kitchen with new cabinets. I initially chose to replace just the countertops, but at the eleventh hour - literally the morning of demolition and installation - I changed my mind and decided to remodel the entire kitchen instead. Juan was incredibly accommodating, worked with my last-minute change, and somehow made it happen. We ended up with a completely new kitchen (pantry + quartz countertops / backsplash) within just two weeks. Re: We would like to respectfully clarify a few points in response to Greg's reply message…read more Per Greg's direction, we were told to reconnect near the end of our project--specifically after countertops, finished plumbing and appliances were installed--so finishing work could be completed. Our appliances were installed in early May 2025, and we reached out accordingly, again during the summer and subsequent attempts without response, and again in December prior to move-in. At that time, we were told the remaining work would take approximately 1-2 days to complete. We have made consistent efforts over the past year to schedule completion, with extensive documentation (emails, texts, and call logs) showing multiple follow-ups from our side. There have also been several periods where we did not receive responses for weeks at a time. The cabinetry was largely installed in April 2025, at which point approximately 95% of the contract amount was paid as requested. Despite this, the project itself is not 95% complete and remains unfinished. To clarify, there was not a "9 month disappearance" as stated. There was a brief 2-day delay in April due to unrelated home issues, after which communication resumed and has continued since. We have an email acknowledging this from Greg with an apology. We also provided Greg with our contractor's contact information to coordinate final plumbing connections related to appliance installation. We have messages confirming this. Any difficulty connecting was not due to lack of access or coordination on our end. In December, after multiple attempts to obtain a timeline, we were told the project could be completed at the end of February. That timeframe passed without completion, and we were not proactively informed of any change or date. We followed up again and were told Greg was significantly behind on other projects and unable to provide a timeline. We then sent a formal request via email and text for a confirmed completion date and did not receive a response. At this point, several months have passed without a confirmed completion date for a project that has been largely paid for, which has been difficult to manage from a homeowner perspective. We have documentation of all communication and are happy to provide it for transparency if needed. Additionally, Greg is currently still in possession of some of our shelving, cabinet panels, doors, and mesh drawer components that we purchased. As of today, the remaining items include, but are not limited to: * Missing cabinet doors * Appliance panel installation * Mesh vegetable drawers * Missing and incomplete shelving (kitchen and living room nook, as well as inside cabinets) * Crown molding installation * Correction of uneven cabinet reveals (including at the island as shown in picture below) * Shelf edge banding/finishing showing exposed plywood and mismatched color * Visible gaps between cabinets and walls * Missing knobs and handles * Cabinet paint and stain touch-ups These items were expected to be completed to achieve the custom cabinetry finish that was discussed. We have photo documentation of these outstanding items. Throughout this process, we have remained professional and patient in our communication. All correspondence has been respectful and documented. We have made multiple good-faith efforts to resolve this directly, but to date have not received a confirmed plan, response to our formal messages, email or date for completion. Our goal has always been to complete the project professionally and bring it to a close. We have waiting patiently for months and still remain open to resolving this, but we do need clear communication and a confirmed plan and date to finish the work.
