I have been meaning to try this place out for months. I got tired of waiting on people so I went by…read moremyself on a weekend. What had previously intrigued me was the fridge cigarette coffee drink and their aesthetics. I ordered an Avo toast and of course the fridge cigarette (chilled espresso, with Diet Coke and I added cold foam). The Avo toast was okay - what you would expect it to taste like. I personally like mine with a little bit of kick - either chili crunch oil or some chili flakes. The drink was really good too - I do wish the espresso was a bit more like a double so it could be stronger. Because I still wanted to taste the coffee flavor together with the coke but I felt like the coffee needed to be a bit stronger so the coke didn't overpower the flavor. But still good. I want to try the short stack next, which looks like a yummy drink. The aesthetic and design was very cool and retro. The place was packed and I think I was the only person who didn't have a laptop. So it definitely seems like a chill place for people to work/study. The chef who also assisted me with my order was super cool and helpful. Told me about events that they have and that they expanded their hours until 7 pm and do a happy hour from 5-7 pm. She said it's more of a wine bar at that time. I'm definitely going to come back for that after work. Price point is what you would expect from a trendy LA coffee and wine bar. I think my bill came out to $32 for the Avo roast, fridge cigarette ($2 added for cold foam) and I also got a custom lighter (lighter with diet coke logo wrapped). I would recommend this place for either a chill coffee get together/date or by yourself like I did , or in the evening for their more wine bar vibe for happy hour.

For $10+, you would get a much better deal at any of the other overhyped matcha places. It was nice to see non-matcha drinks as well so we also tried the tropicoqueta- sounds cool but not tasty at all. It was like watered down matcha with white flakes inside. :( Pretty disappointed. If they just got their food and drinks together, this would be such a hot spot.

It's one of those spots that's worth the occasional splurge because the quality is just that good. The Spanish Latte is easily one of my favorites and a must-try if you're visiting for the first time. But if you know about the secret menu... sheeeesh. I'll have to gatekeep that one. Let's just say it's hands-down the best latte I've ever had. Perfect balance, amazing flavor notes, and one of those drinks that makes you stop and appreciate how good coffee can actually be. The atmosphere is just as great as the coffee. There are games to play, cozy corners to hang out in, and little hidden gems throughout the shop if you're paying attention. It's the kind of place where you can grab a drink and end up staying way longer than you planned. A true Venice classic and still one of the best coffee spots I've ever been to. Staff is amazing and just feels just a community, they make the experience feel incredible for just getting a coffee

That alone makes it a special place for us. Love the vibe, love the people, and they make a great cup of coffee. I'm a big fan of the Wake & Bake roast, and my go-to is an iced flat white. You can tell a lot of thought went into creating a spot that feels both welcoming and unique. I ordered the chilaquiles and they were incredible. Easily one of those dishes where you're already thinking about coming back before you finish your plate. For drinks, I got the Glory Latte and it was perfect. The espresso actually shines through, and it's not overloaded with sweetness like a lot of specialty lattes can be. If you're looking for a simple, well-made latte, this is it. And if you've got more of a sweet tooth, they've got plenty of creative specialty drinks to choose from too. This place feels like it's about to become a local favorite. Definitely a new go-to spot, and I'll be bringing all my homies from the area here soon. Highly recommend.
