Cute little cafe in MDR One thing to note is that their drinks tend to be on the sweeter side. If you prefer less sweetness, I'd recommend asking to adjust the sweetness level when ordering. Other than that, the drinks and crepes were both really delicious, and I'd definitely order them again!

What a treat in my neighborhood. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is delightful and I love the doggy friendly vibe. Thanks for bringing the good energy in the Marina!

100% recommend. If there's anything I'm looking for, it's always a good coffee shop where I can also bring my pup. And, this was exactly it. What a gem in the Marina! I got the smores latte and it was rich and delicious with my yummy chocolate chip cookie (I'm always a sucker for a coffee & cookie combo), and this hit the spot. But really, the ambiance was just perfect today. Spring hit yesterday and it was clear through the bright sunshine that came through the cafe and I was so glad to see the plenty of outdoor seating available. I came with friends and we had a hard time determining if we should sit inside or out because both choices were equally great ones. I appreciated how open the space was, how kind the servers and staff were - even for it being a busy weekend morning, and still, how carefully prepared everything was upon arrival to our table. If you're in the area, find yourself wanting a yummy coffee or matcha, or even a crepe or bakery item or a fun lunch item, I'd definitely check this place out. The ambiance is everything! So beautiful. Will definitely be back to try out more on the menu. I know my dog won't mind at all!

I was in the neighborhood and wanted to try a new spot. Cafe Cache's description on Yelp is true to form. It's tucked at the bottom of an apartment complex at the marina. They have indoor seating with tables and a counter near the kitchen. I picked the outdoor seating along the bench under an umbrella with a nice view of the marina. For a late breakfast, I snagged a S'more's Latte and a ham/cheese croissant. Both were exceptionally delicious. The staff made a great suggestion on the croissant pick since they have plenty of pastries and treats to choose from. Side story: I was finding my way there from the parking garage and got stuck at a patio door that needed an access key. There was a guy there who let me in as he could tell I was wandering. He was incredibly kind and made light of it. Turns out he's either the manager or Owner. Thanks Richard for being so kind to help me get to this great place. You've got a long term customer

We came here for breakfast. I ordered coffee, orange juice and a blueberry muffin. Service was great and our food arrived in less than 10'. Saturday's are pretty busy around 9:00 a.m.. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They offer water and it's usually set up outside. The menu consists of breakfast and lunch items.

Great spot for brunch in Marina del Rey! It's located in an apartment complex and there's plenty of parking in the retail lot. The cafe is right by the water and super cute. We had the lobster roll, burger, and Parisian crepe and everything was fresh delicious. Customer service as friendly as well. Highly recommend checking out Cafe Cache if you're in the area.

I have been to this café many times before and have always enjoyed it, which is why this experience was so disappointing. Yesterday I ordered the buckwheat crepe with smoked salmon. As soon as I started eating it, I noticed the salmon tasted slightly bitter. Because there was a lot of cream-based sauce, I assumed it was just the combination of flavors and continued eating it. My son refused to eat the salmon and only ate a small piece of the crepe. This was the only meal I ate that day. Later that evening, I developed severe stomach pain, nausea, and diarrhea. Throughout the night and the entire following day, I suffered from repeated vomiting, diarrhea, and all the symptoms of severe food poisoning. I am convinced that this illness was caused by the meal I had at your café, as I had not eaten anything else that day. I am writing this review not simply to complain, but because I sincerely hope the owners will pay closer attention to the quality, freshness, and proper storage of their ingredients, especially the smoked salmon. I have always liked this café and truly hope this was an isolated incident, but no customer should have to go through an experience like this.

Stopped in for my first time this morning for breakfast and overall had a great meal. I live walking distance from this location so it's extremely convenient for me and being that it is located on the harborside of the AMLI building, it really has some beautiful views if you choose to eat outside. It's basically a little French café that serves food and drinks. There are also tables inside, which is where we decided to sit for our first visit. I really like how the interior is laid out, there are paintings all over the wall and almost has kind of a coffeehouse kind of vibe. It's really tranquil and casual and I would say the only downside is that it is quite expensive, we spent about $75 for breakfast and with $10 lattes the pricing is a bit high, but I am sure a lot of that is due to the location. The staff was very friendly and everything that we ordered came out pretty quickly, even though it was quite busy. You basically order at the counter and they give you a number and then bring your food or drinks to you. Some people got it to go, but most people like us chose to eat in. For my breakfast, I chose the Croissant Benedict and really loved it. The croissant was very fresh and the eggs were cooked perfectly and overall, I just really liked it. We also ordered the Royal Scramble and the truffle butter that it came with was absolutely fantastic. It was a real big hit at the table and would be something I would definitely recommend. We also tried the Beignets and they are a bit different than the fluffy New Orleans version but we still really enjoyed them, especially with the homemade strawberry jam. We also tried the Crème Brûlée Lattes and thought they were great. Overall, I would say it's a great casual and quick option and I already want to come back soon to try more items.

This is a very cute little cafe on the promenade behind the Amli apartments in Marina del Rey. My friend and I, and our playful pups went here today for a light breakfast. Service is very nice and friendly although a little slow! My friend had the regular coffee which she said was very good and I had the Creme Brulee Latte-a rich vanilla latte with cream and a torched sugar crust. The coffee was good although a little bit on the sweet side. The Ham and Cheese Croissant was pretty good, not the best, not the worst. I am ging to go back to try a few of the other breakfast specialties.

This is definitely the new trendy spot on the Marina. Went a little later in the afternoon for a coffee and to get some work done, and was able to get a table. Have tried a few drinks here and they're very good. Haven't tried the food yet, but it looks delicious. It is French themed, and looks the part inside. They have a lot of seating, both inside and out, and of course you can grab a coffee and take a walk around the Marina. Not a bad way to start your day.

I usually get my coffee in this place and the burger had a bad smell like a bad quality meats with no seasoning , and the salad looked wilted and old.

What a hidden gem! The burger was excellent! Fast and friendly service. Great ambience and you can't beat the Marina view

Excellent food, service value and neighbourhood. Beautiful quiet vibe, food feels like traditional French crepes and being in the marina is a perfect atmosphere. Would highly recommend. Also very dog friendly.

Is there easy parking in the area?

There is a small parking garage - that is currently free - that also services the apartment building and shops in the complex. Its not huge but I've never had a problem.

My server Ramiro seemed rushed and avoidant , even though The place was near empty. I did not see him throughout the service and had to walk around the restaurant to order. He often walked near me with no acknowledgment and said he would return shortly and never did. I ordered the corn cake which was incredible. I also ordered the calamari which felt like a scam. It's mainly just fried Zuchini and no octopus. I had to ask other employees for the check, a box, and also to close out my check. An $80 check deserved some service and you won't find that at Fig Tree.

What a wonderful surprise…read more I live just around the corner from Jamaica Bay Inn, and for whatever reason, it took me far too long to finally have dinner here with family and friends. I wish I'd discovered it sooner. The restaurant overlooks Mother's Beach, and the setting is exactly what you'd hope for: peaceful, relaxed, and quintessential Marina del Rey. You almost expect the view to be the highlight... Then the food shows up. For appetizers, we shared the hummus plate and the calamari. Both were excellent. As someone whose kids were practically raised eating seafood around the ports of New England, calamari is one of those deceptively simple dishes we judge pretty harshly. Beachside absolutely passed the test. I ordered the cheeseburger, which was solid, but the real stars of the evening were the roasted Jidori chicken and the jumbo shrimp fettuccine. The chicken was perfectly juicy, something that sounds easy but surprisingly few restaurants consistently get right. The shrimp fettuccine completely stole the show. In fact, it's now become my daughter's regular takeout order, and she's easily the toughest pasta critic in our family. Congratulations... you've officially earned the title of our favorite pasta spot in the Marina. The service was another highlight. Our server spoke both German and Italian, had a great sense of humor, and made the evening feel warm and effortless. Between the location, the food, and the hospitality, I already know this is going to become one of our regular family dinner spots.

First let me say that Nahum, who helped us was excellent. The absolute perfect balance of checking on you but not overdoing it. If it weren't for Nahum, morning sun, and the breeze, I think we would have sent back our plates and left. Really. We didn't tell him there were any issues, because once the decision was made to stay, why ruin his holiday too? lol Ordered coffee. Dreadful. Ok, no big deal. The food came out and I could immediately SEE The Unappetizing . It's special when you can tell that your food is going to be bad before you take one bite. The French toast was Sahara dry, burned and flavorless. The chicken, was competing with it in the dry and flavorless category-- I really can't say which was worse. I don't really use hot sauce and I drowned the tenders in Cholula just to make it halfway edible. Literally we could have waited for the AMC chicken tenders and they would have been better, which is horrifying. Particularly when you try to avoid fried food in general and now you are poisoning your body for no good reason. Husband ordered a steak and eggs, medium well. I'll attach the picture and I'll let you be the judge of whether or not it was cooked properly. Eggs were not good either. Immediately, I gave hubby more than half my plate because he eats All of Everything that's put in front of him. Something would have to get up and walk off his plate for him to not eat it. He was taught not to waste food, period. The exception was steak so that he could take it home, cook it, and then eat it. This was possibly the worst meal I've ever had, and certainly on a special occasion. I reached out to the Gjelina team about my plastic experience and they were quick to not only take accountability but do a full-blown investigation, update their protocols, and invite me back to regain my trust. INVESTIGATION I was honestly take aback at the lengths they went to to ensure the utmost quality control. They shared that each pizza dough is individually wrapped for transport from their bakery, then assembled onsite. To make sure the plastic mishap doesn't happen again, they updated their protocol to ensure more supervisor and individual checkpoints from drop off to assembly to baking. ACCOUNTABILITY I was really appreciative of the general manager being so quick to respond and share what they were doing to understand the root of the issue AND how they could make it right. It was one thing to apologize, it's another to take action to ensure it doesn't happen again. It was evident to me then that they not only care about their business, but the customer experience as it relates to quality & safety. REBUILDING TRUST The general manager was kind enough to invite us back to have dinner on the house! Impressed by their measures to right their wrongs, I accepted and went to try some new things.... - Zucchini with zatar seasoning: fresh, great texture, good veggie starter - Hamachi Crudo: bright citrus light and delicious. Would've loved a little touch of blood orange to bring some more zing - Chorizo & Fennel Pizza: we braved the pizza again and it really was delicious. Super soft bubbles in the crust leading to a crispy yet soft bite. Amazing texture and flavor combinations - Duck Confit: WOW! I went with my French boyfriend and even he approved. Perfectly crispy skin, juicy cooked to perfection inside, and the grapes were a nice unexpected touch with the flavor profile. DO NOT SKIP! SO GOOD! - Wagyu beef cheek & burrata pasta: WOWOWW! This and the duck stole the show. The flavor was out of this world. Al dente pasta shells with the decadent sauce and creamy burrata. Magnificent! - Butterscotch Pot: delicious delightful, perfect for a touch of sweetness to finish the meal OVERALL There's a lot of great restaurants in LA but not all of them have service to match. Gjelina you really impressed me with your customer care and action oriented accountability! I forgive you and I will return again. (Note: This review was not promoted or requested from the team.
