Hot dog (ketchup, mustard, relish, grilled onions) and The Wag Melt with burger sauce on the side
Brittany L.

I walk by here everyday and it always smells so good, I finally stopped to try! I got a hotdog (with ketchup, mustard, relish and grilled onions) and The Wag Melt. Both things were delicious and didn't last long after we got home. The food was A+ but equally enjoyed the conversation with our cool neighbor Jeff. It pleases us to see him out there everyday, charming his customers and enjoying the day. It gives the neighborhood a good vibe. I also notice the menu constantly changes, almost by the day. Bravo!

Been here a few times now. For street food? What the hell. WOW. Let's get into it. Ok do you like dogs and burgers? Look no further. The chef has such a great attitude. Lively, happy outgoing and professional. Then when you see that? His food comes from the soul. I've had a few things here. But what makes this food cart special is the menu changes. Other than the dogs and burgers. But he's always got specials, such as. Pork belly Mac n cheese like what!? Sign me up. Pastas and more! The hot dogs. Fresh, cooked to the perfect temperature. Get all your fixings. Peppers, onions, mustard, relish, ketchup, hot Cheeto dust, cheese? Oh yeah! You can load it up if you want to and it's quite the experience. Burgers. Ok I'm not kidding when I say this. I don't really like smash burgers. It makes them loose the flavor usually. HOWEVER this time!? That is NOT the case. I'm not sure how he does it but I'll always come back for this burger. The BREAD omg the bread as well! SO good. Seasoned VERY well. Veggies, lettuce and pickles all fresh. So would I recommend this spot? Hell yeah. You will NOT be disappointed. This is a hidden gem of LA. He's fairly new to the social media game so support this great food! Hope you all enjoy.

Best burgers ever, seriously!! Get the Fried Spud Balls Also the people cooking were really nice, as well, trying to make us feel comfortable.

My wife was craving a great burger on our anniversary so we drove all the way from Camarillo to see Jeff because he hands down had the best burger I ever had and man did he not disappoint. We loved the food and customer service was top notch. There is a reason he only has nothing but 5 star reviews. Thank you so much Chef!

Jeff and his perfect burger I'm about to destroy.

It's perfect. So much flavor. It melts in your mouth. New favorite burger in LA. Thanks, Jeff!!!

I've been driving past this neighborhood food cart for months with curiosity and finally stopped in for some smash burgers and a hotdog for tonights Dodger game. What a find. The owner and chef, Jeff, is a really great guy and his wagu smash burger might be the very best burger I've ever eaten. The bacon hotdog with sweet avocado relish and mustard was equally as excellent. Don't let the cart fool you; this is serious gourmet eats. I'm hooked and will def be back. Be sure to check this little gem out. It's gonna surprise you.

In my heart I want to gate keep this place but I mustn't. This is truly the best burger in west LA. He once said that he cares about the "integrity of the burger" and I've been thinking about it ever since. The time and care he puts into each masterfully crafted burger creates a far superior experience to most burgers I've had in my life. You think I'm kidding but I'm not.

Absolutely the best burger I've ever had. My favorite is the double smash, Wag. I get everything on it and extra sauce. Highly recommend this order if you're hungry. Even if you're not hungry, it's so good you won't want to stop eating. I don't had out my recommendation easily... however I've never met someone way otherwise, I have brought multiple friends whom say Franks Wag is easily one of the best burgers they've ever had.

However, El Primo has recently HUMBLED me. I have to give credit where credit is due and El Primo managed to slide in my number 1 spot for best tacos in LA - I am truly impressed. Of course, I always opt for carne asada and the meat here is just so tender and flavorful especially when paired with their salsa which has the perfect amount of spice and flavor. As a major pineapple fan, I understand it's more traditional to add that with al pastor but I add it onto my carne asada tacos and it is so yummy. Their pineapple is freshly cut right in front of you and is my favorite aspect of this vendor as I know not all vendors have it. Lastly, let's be clear that not all horchata is created equally but El Primo has superior horchata. The amount of milkiness and cinnamon is absolute perfection as I've had some watery horchatas in the past, so make sure you grab yourself a horchata while you're here. As someone who lives in the valley, despite recently discovering this spot a few weeks ago I find myself driving out to Venice a lot lately just for these tacos because they are just THAT GOOD and also very cheap. Just make sure you bring cash or have Zelle and enjoy the food here because it is phenomenal.

One of the best al pastor burritos in LA! A friend…read morerecommended it to me and I traveled 19 miles and wasn't disappointed. You could see the freshness of al pastor on their vertical rotating grill and the meat seemed leaner as well. They cut a new batch of al pastor and then they chop it to smaller pieces than you're normally used to seeing and somehow, those smaller pieces preserved all the delicious meat juice inside. The al pastor was very tender, juicy, well-marinated and had the sweet and savory notes in a perfect balance and the guys adding some fresh, ripe pineapple on top was a nice touch! I got served my burrito open-faced, I added the salsa, pickled onion and chopped fresh onions and then sent it back to the crew for the final wrapping. Just a great, tasty burrito that absorbed really well. The quality could really be seen and felt and the $10 price tag was unbeatable. The customer service was very friendly and there is plenty of parking right behind the taco stand on the CVS plaza. Will definitely come again!

Whoa. The hype is real. For all these years I put street food, taco trucks a step tier below actual…read morerestaurants. But this all changed tonight. I watched a burrito be made right in front of me in a minute and it turned out to be one of the best burittos I've ever had. And it was only $12. I understand now. The added pineapple in the buritto added just enough sweetness. They smash the tortilla into the grill and they also smash the meat to make sure it's hot. The meat has no gristle and it's very soft and flavorful. This is why we live in California. I applaud the taco stands opening up in the same block. The line was intimidating but the festive music only made me hungrier. I am surprised at how friendly the staff can be while they are "at work". I've only seen such positivity at Howlin Rays. Luckily, the line moves much faster. They had a cactus salsa which would have gone great with salsa chips. It's the type of salsa that you get at great mexican restaurants and they just let you choose an unlimited amount of it. I asked for rice and beans in my burrito and they put just the right amount of it, being careful as to not overpower the meat portions. I also appreciate that I can add my own salsa, onions, cilantro, before handing it back to them to wrap it. Sometimes the hype of LA places are blown out of proportion especially with blog posts and social media. But I can vouch for this place. It really is worth it. I will be back for sure.
