The chilaquiles was good but felt a little too wet. The chips were drowning in salsa so it became too soggy. It was not the style of chilaquiles that we were used too. What I did appreciate was that they had a choice of soyrizo for our protein. Service was very friendly and they checked on us multiple times to make sure we didn't need anything. The restaurant was very bright and colorful. They have plenty of seating with tables both inside and outside. They also have additional tables in the patio area. Free street parking is available.

It's my first time here and was impress the unobtrusive view of the beach front ocean view. I had a Chicken x French toasts and Peet's coffee. And it was simple enough to have a decent brunch. Service was spot on. And their female servers were affable, assiduous and professional. Thus, I tipped them well. Parking lot is massive. The last time we were here, it was during a busy lunch and both the service and the food were below par. But tonight, it wasn't as busy and our server, Geovani, was excellent. First, we were quickly greeted and asked to select our table (since they were not that busy). Since there was only two of us, we picked a table for two. But, after we decided that we would split an appetizer and an entree, the table for two became way to small way too quickly. Geovani jumped right on this, suggesting we move to a larger table. He helped us move everything over and, voila, we were able to stretch out and relax and enjoy our meal. We started with the pear and blue cheese salad and, wow, we could have just ordered this, split it, and we would have been full. Very flavorful, generous portion that is definitely big enough to share. We also ordered the Sausage & Leek Fettuccine and I was definitely not thinking. Totally forgetting that leeks are part of the onion family (and I have a sensativity to onions). Once the dish arrive, I immediately noticed the similarity and was slowly trying to pick them away from my portion. Once again, Geovani came to our rescue. He asked how everything was and I told him I made a mistake (noted above). He quickly volunteered to have the kitchen make it again without the leeks. I asked, "Are you sure?", and he immediately said yes and removed the dish. Very shortly after, he returned with the "onion sterile" dish and it was wonderful. Both of us were so full you could have rolled us out the door. Good thing the parking garage is so close so we could just hop in our car and go home. Time to loosen the belt! ;) In a week where we have had some personal issues, it was so nice to be treated so well and received such a great tasting meal.
