My girl and I have been to T.C. Organic several times for brunch. This place always gives me that warm Mexico hospitality vibe that I love. Edson, the owner, is humble, friendly, and makes you feel genuinely welcomed. You can tell this is a small family business built with love. Wow! I'm so glad that I tried this place. It was so much better than I expected. I think it was the owner that helped us, but he was very friendly and was joking around with us. We were greeted and seated immediately. When the food came out, I was very impressed with the presentation and the size of the meals. My cousin only ordered a caramel iced coffee drink, and she said it was delicious. And the coffee was strong. We ordered the kids pancakes with sausage. We ordered a shrimp burrito, grilled fresh tacos, chilaquiles with mole , and they brought the table chips and salsa before bringing out any of the food while we waited. The chips and salsa we're pretty good so we already knew that. The food was gonna taste good, and it did! I tried a little bit of everything, and it was all very delicious and filling. I will definitely be coming back here more often. It is affordable for being so close to the beach and such a nice location. My friends and I stopped here post beach for dinner. They had very friendly and accommodating service. The staff was excellent and checked in on us a couple times during the meal. Me and my girlfriend shared our plates because we wanted to try as much as we could. I had pancakes with a side of potatoes and scrambled eggs with bacon pieces in it, and she had birria tacos with avocado and a bowl of fruit. Everything that we tried was great even the drink choices. I had strawberry lemonade, it was so fresh as it was made with fresh strawberries. One thing that surprised us was that the fruit bowl pictured below is on the menu listed as a small fruit cup for and additional $4 and when the fruit bowl came out we were shocked with how much fruit we actually got just for an extra $4! The fruit bowl came with watermelon slices, strawberries, kiwis, grapes, bananas, and oranges; it was all very fresh as well. Wow! I can see why the rating is so high consistently for TC Organic. We were starving and they are located just 12 minutes from LAX. Parking is street parking only, but it's well worth the short walk my friends. From the moment we stepped in, and all the way up to leaving - we felt welcomed, our bellies were happy, & we saw many locals come enjoy this place as well. The business itself is small, but the plates are huge and bursting with freshness and flavor. I ordered the Birria tacos with a fruit bowl (& wow that fruit bowl is HUGE!) and my partner ordered pancake with scrambled eggs & bacon, and skillet potatoes. My partner said those scrambled eggs were the best he's ever had! I also ordered a cup of their fresh fruit juice and he got a cup of their strawberry lemonade. Both were very delicious! We went on a Sunday morning before 11am, found street parking and were seated right away. The service is attentive, and the restaurant is family friendly. You MUST order the side of fruit with your breakfast. It was unbelievable because of the size, variety, and freshness. We still talk about it. Juice, side of fruit, Huevos Rancheros. 8:17 - received my fruit juice. Playa del Ray is amazing. The $4 fruit bowl add-on also massive and beautiful. It's a meal or shareable size. 8:25 - food received. Huevos Rancheros with carnitas was Excellent. Balanced flavors and seasoning. I didn't add anything to it. I just ate it. It's expertly and deliciously crafted. Normally Cholula would be a guest for breakfast, not today though. This plate, juice, and coffee. WOW factor engage. We came in super last minute with a group of over 20 people, yeah, we felt bad showing up with that many unannounced but Esa (not sure if he's the owner, but he acted like one in the best way) didn't even flinch. He and his team set up the back patio for us right away and made us feel totally welcome. The back patio itself is amazing bright, colorful murals, mixed tables and chairs, and just a super fun vibe. You can tell a lot of love and creativity went into the space. There's also a small front patio if you're coming with a smaller group. We found out the same artist who did the murals also did the tattoos on the owners, which is such a cool personal touch. We weren't eating meat that day, and Esa went out of his way to make us fresh vegan dishes and they were actually delicious. You could tell everything was made with care. The drinks were also fantastic and really hit the spot. The best part? At the end of the meal, he brought ice cream out to all the kids serving each one personally. This Mexican restaurant serves healthy, organic breakfast, lunch and dinner. So you have to go next door to get a Corona if you don't like smoothies. I wanted their special: fish tacos with asada fries, but they don't have it anymore. So I got the Burrito de la Calle with birria as my protein. It was surprisingly good, considering it's a healthy vegan dish. The burrito did need a lot of Cholula to spice it up. 5 stars for the customer service, vibe, and the ACAI BOWL! Sooo good & for me, its huge! I can easily snack on it two or three times. I love that they separate the acai and granola from the fruit so I can put the acai in the freezer until I'm ready for my next snack lol.
