Curley fries and brisket
Martie W.

Was looking for bbq with potato, my mistake for not reading what kind of potato I was getting curly fries. The real issue was the bbq was awful and the CF were so greasy and limp, brisket was burnt and I ordered cole slaw and didn't get it. This meal cost me 18.00 and was not worth it at all.

A super small container of $5 chili. Complete and utter ripoff.

Saw on Facebook that they had chili this month , so I decided to try it. Not worth the money. Asked for a bowl and instead they give you a condiment sized container of chili and slap a $5 price tag on it. Look elsewhere for worthwhile bbq is my recommendation.

First time back since '97 or so...

Kids and I went to what is known as a significant piece of history of my youth, Vans Pig Stand. But this location is in Moore, my first time eating here since maybe 1997. This location has a good amount of seating. You come in, order your food and then choose where to sit...tables booths, large options are available for large groups. You get your drink from the soda or tea machines. Yea was good, not too sweet not too bland. Now, the food! I went with a classic, chopped brisket sandwich. I put the bbq sauce that was on the table on it...aw man, it was what memories are made of. The same taste, the same smell...being back in Oklahoma, having BBQ with the Oklahoma flavor that I've been missing for 23-24 years. It was great. The Mac and cheese was pretty good not gramma's, but it made a great side. The benefits are that the the noodles are firm, it's a house made sauce and you can tell it's fresh. It's just a good side. Curly fries are great. Crispy, fresh, not soggy...get a side of ranch and dip them in. My daughter said it's the best honey mustard she's ever had. I'm going to have sweet dreams in my smoked pig scented shirt. Ahhhhhh....it's nice to be home

Pulled pork and fries were extremely greasy. Even ordered a carrot cake and it was greasy. I'd pass on going again.

Service is good, but the food is not great. Disappointing but nothing deserving my usual wrath.

My wife, son and I rolled up and were instantly surprised. The place looked small from the road, but was much bigger inside than we thought. The staff was super kind and engaging. The food though, that's the real question, right? Here's what you need to know. The homemade chips are probably the best I've ever had. Seriously! Add to this, the chopped brisket was incredible. My wife tried the catfish and it was 3 really large filets. My son went with the plain burger. What we had in common is that we all three loved our dishes. This is definitely a place worth visiting.

She was personable, very nice, a ready beautiful smile and seemed eager to help us a good dining experience. The rest of our lunch was not anything to write home about. To be fair, we did come in after lunchtime, around 1:30. There were no other customers around, which was pretty expected given the time and it being a weekday. We hadn't eaten that day and had been shopping and doing errands so we worked up quite the appetite and decided to have the dinners opposed to the sandwiches offered. I ordered the pulled pork, not spicy, as I told the lady that my tongue was a sissy when it came to spice. She laughed at that and assured me she would not put any 'spicy' pulled pork on mine. I also ordered the BBQ beans and potato salad. My husband ordered the brisket dinner with fries and BBQ beans. When she brought out the boats of food to us, I thought I may have ordered wrong. The servings of meat were very small, barely enough to make a sandwich with the toast that was served with the 'dinner'. My husband did not fare any better. We were told that these were 'dinner' portions. I truly do not know what we paid $5.00 extra dollars a plate for. The meals with 2 drinks came up a little over $45.00! The BBQ sauce was a bit too vinegary for my taste, my husband agreed. The fries were very good (fries were extra if you ordered them as a side). The potato salad was very good as well. Also there was a pretty big chunk of pork that was spicy to me. I am sure it was an oversight but it took up most of the little bit of meat in the boat. I ate the toast and the potato salad. My husband ate his fries. The BBQ beans, of course, had the same kind of sauce in it that the meat had, again, not to my liking. I have a favorite BBQ place in OKC, S. OKC, Moore and Norman but will keep looking for one in Del city. It was quite a disappointment as we were hungry, had had a great day, up to that moment, and paid $45.00 for fries, potato salad, Coke but we did get a beautiful smile.

Unfortunately, this was the first location--out of at least 15 I've visited--where the service was disappointing. While placing my order, the employee at the window seemed unfamiliar with the menu. He wasn't rude, but he appeared uninterested and gave the impression that it might have been his first day. I ordered two combo meals with drinks, but I only received one drink. When I pointed it out, I was told I had to purchase the second drink separately and ended up paying nearly $5 for a sweet tea that should have been included with the combo. Additionally, the brisket combo I ordered came with a very small portion of fries--it looked like the leftovers from the bottom of the batch. The sandwich itself tasted as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. I chose not to raise the issue at the time because I didn't feel confident it would be understood or resolved. I understand this is a fast-food BBQ restaurant, but I still believe every job deserves someone's best effort. This experience was just not up to the standard I've come to expect from this brand. And will probably never go back to this location.

As a tourist, I could definitely see how the neighborhood is definitely something that might draw people from visiting, but good food is often found in unknown places. Pros: the gal who took our orders was super sweet and the cook that came out to deliver our food was also very pleasant. Overall, flavors and quality seemed to be good for the price. Cons: gal was very obviously stressed due to how she greeted us with a "I'm getting rid of most of the menu in order to simplify" and then literally told us that everything we came for was basically gone (cook/baker left). No chili, no fries, no desserts and she was out of one of the burgers. Also, the inside of this restaurant is obviously still questioning its identity because it was giving farm glam but things made no sense for its namesake (mirrors? Why so many TVs and little blackboards? Bougie paintings? House music? Farm animal home decor?) also...the women's bathroom was hella scary and had awful lighting yet the men's bathroom was well lit. Food: flavor was there, but some things just weren't - Parmesan fries just had like garlic salt on them? Both our taco meat was lukewarm and no cheese would melt. My fries supposedly had nacho cheese but came out with real cheese, which hey, better for me. Drinks were also blah - canned. It's just a preference but it's very limiting. I hope the menu isn't revamped to the point where their ratings keep declining, but to us, it was disappointing seeing such enticing photos and reviews to get lukewarm food and a very limited selection of foods.

There weren't a lot of people there but a few call in orders were placed while we dined. It was delicious as well, though pieces were pretty small. We both had fries which I was more than pleased with. The tartar sauce was made in house also tasted good. The two of us ate for $24. Ain't nothin wrong with that! We'll certainly be back.
