Stopped by Vans to get some new shoes this last weekend! I usually find myself looking through the Vans store while at the mall and don't always find shows I like. This time I did! I ended walking out with 2 pairs. The store is always well organized and very clean. Customer service is also always great. I was helped by Jena and another employee during my visit. Both were helpful and had good input on my show buying experience. I wish I could have found a decent pair of shoes on sale but nothing really caught my eye or fit well. I opted for 2 full price new shoes which is a big deal. Its been about 5 years since buying my last pair. I am very happy with the shows and the visit. read more

First time at this Vans location and it was great! We were let known by the staff about the great deals they were having. Michael was so helpful and attentive, any size/style we needed he went above and beyond. Not to be confused with Vons, Vans is a specialty store if you're into skating or just love quality made clothing and shoes. Dropped in to get a pair of shoes for my daughter and son. I was helped immediately and found a pair each and was happy to see that they were having a promo. Their selection is huge and also have skate decks available for cheap. My son is too young to start skating but I know we will be back for sure. Not sure what's in milk these days cause my kiddos are growing faster than inflation! read more

I am a mom of two boys and clothes and shoe shopping is one of the hardest endeavors for me. We went into Vans at the mall and were greeted by Adam, who went above and beyond to help us and make sure our experience was as enjoyable as possible. He was kind, knowledgeable, and interacted really well with my boys. We purchased 2 new pairs of shoes with him, after going to 3 stores prior. Of all the associates I met that day throughout the mall, Adam made the whole buying experience the most pleasant due to his simple act of caring. I just wanted to make sure I thanked him and let him know how much his service that day was appreciated by our family. Service was sloppy. Inventory lacking. Nothing available in four different shoes between size 10 and 12. Icing on the cake was checkout employee's attitude. Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt - maybe they were new - but I got a snarky "you don't recall who helped you?" When I was asked and said no. Sorry brother - was too focused on the lack of shoes to try on to catch a name. Ended up buying something and asked for an email receipt - sorry can't do that, is that going to be OK? Guess it's gotta be. Icing on the cake - ten bucks cheaper to get the same shoe online, and not have to deal with parking or the s*** attitudes. Not coming back. read more

You can find Vans being sold everywhere, and sometimes in a store right next door to a Vans retail store. So why come here? I would say the service at this Vans store was stellar. The workers hustled getting shoes and being attentive. Better service than Nordstrom if you ask me. It also made a difference coming here as opposed to other retailers as those places were not really focused on shoe service or their selection (and sizing) was poor. We'll see if these shoes last longer than Skechers....If so, we'll be back. read more

Place is nice and clean. Displays are set up nicely. They have a huge quantity of shoes. Prices are reasonable. Employees are nice. Geo helped us in choosing our shoes and was nice and helpful. Just want to give an amazing thank you to Nick!!! He was extremely fantastic! What a great costumer service ability. He was super cool, helpful, he was able to locate in a different store the right size for the model we wanted. Hw helped us choose the right shoes! He was a pro about the description and history of each design and how the shoes are made, from the sole to the Inserts of the shoes, who designed it and what was the inspiration on each design, lot of info but he made it fun and easy to listen to it. Went to do some Christmas shopping about 15 minutes before closing time. This is the 3rd or 4th time here. The employees are trained right and always work hard and fast. We needed two pairs for family and they had both in stock and even offered to lace them both up. Then they had a free giveaway of a snow globe and my daughters LOVED them! We were in and out and had time for our last stop at Gamestop before the whole mall closed. THANK YOU to the whole staff here! They work great together as a team! Yesterday was my first time in this store, and everyone was very helpful. When I couldn't find something comfortable in the women's styles, I asked about the men's, but they only go down to the equivalent of women's size 8, and I'm a 7. One of the employees recommended looking in the boy's section, and told me the corresponding size (5.5 boys = 7 women's). Found something comfortable and just what I was looking for. Awful employee conduct. Last week while my husband was on leave before his upcoming deployment, him and I went into this location to get new shoes for him. As we were checking out, we were deciding whether or not to use cash or card because our cards chip hadn't been working. We asked about their military discount, and the girl at the register needed her manager to do it for her. However her manager refused to give us the discount unless the cash or card came out of the wallet that my husband was holding, and said he wouldn't do it until I put my wallet back in my purse and that he needed to watch us pay, and that I couldn't hand my husband any cash. He even asked me "okay well who's money is that?" Referring to what was in my wallet when I tried to hand cash to my husband because the chip on his card doesn't work. Its our money, we share an account, we're married! It's a 10%, or in this case $5 discount. This manager was incredibly rude, created a scene, embarrassed us, and was wildly aggressive and disrespectful. We were told we couldn't use cash because it came from my wallet and I handed it to my husband so it wasn't his money. the only working chip card we had was a credit card so we had to use that. Annoying. We kind of laughed it off at the time for how dramatic this man was, but honestly it's annoying the kind of treatment an active duty service member gets just for $5 off some overpriced shoes. read more

Excellent, friendly and knowledgeable service paired with a great selection of shoes and outerwear. The manager was on shift and we were in for a treat as he gave us a little tour of the vans shoes and let us know that we could even choose to customize the pairs. I got a pair for my sister and they were half a size too big and they easily let us exchange the pair for a smaller size-- no problem. I am so glad they built a Vans store inside the mall. Good Quality clothes for affordable prices. We had a pair reserved when we got there the pair reserved turned out to be dirty. So we asked for another pair and they had ine but a bigger size. John R proceed to bring us the other pair and asked if we wanted him to try and clean it so that we had options. We agreed the young man came back sweating, all while cleaning this shoe with one hand cause his other one was in a cast. This past Saturday I went into this store to get some new shoes for my son who was looking for a specific pair of vans. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by many of the associates. When it came to the time to find my son his shoes, a sweet young girl named Tabby was extremely helpful. My son got shoes from his sister and she misplaced the receipt. Called to ask about return policy and from that call to the end of it all exchanging shoes for different style, our experience was great. All employees here are nice and welcoming. We were able to get a pair of shoes that fit him well and still got another pair. I smiled be cause I could feel the welcoming from the staff. When I reached my destination which was the back shoe display I recieved a 3rd hello. I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled after my visit to this vans store yesterday. I wish I could remember the two guys' names who were working when I came in, but it was yesterday, 10/7/11 a little before 5pm. As soon as I walked in, I was met with a warm greeting. I asked the guy working to help me find a style, and he let me know they didnt carry it at that location, but found the next most convenient location for me and called them to have the shoes held. I was especially impressed by the fact that the associate recalled that I had mentioned I was shopping for my girlfriend's birthday, and wished her a happy birthday on my way out! Honestly the worst service ever. All the employees were helping these few people. I didn't even get to try on a pair of shoes.

So I called the auto park way vans location and they told me I needed a box to return some shoes I got when I clearly had the receipt. But they made having a box such a issue it was so annoying. So I called the mall location vans and they told me it was perfectly fine. So I took myself over there with my little brother and Alex royer and Taylor brown took such great care of me and my little brother needs. It was his shoes we were returning. They were both so helpful and eager to help me which is awesome. It was a little crowded but the staff was attentive to everyone including me. We got another pair of shoes. Returned them with no problem and even used a coupon. I will totally come back to this vans store because they wanted to help me unlike the other store. Its a longer drive but its totally worth it. Thank you Alex and Taylor . u made this shopping experience easy and awesome and fast. Especially bc I'm a sister shopping for her 13 year old brother which isn't always easy.
