Actually I have no major issues with this place. I did a google search to find a local store that sold men's hats. What i ran into was an upscale men's clothing store that would shame Men's Warehouse, but they no longer sold men's hats. Be careful doing business with this company, as the store policy is "no refunds". Ziad at the Carlsbad location screwed up my order by giving me the wrong suit, calling me and telling me it's ready when it's not, so I'm waiting for an extra time for him to make the alterations. I call him prior to leaving the city and asked him if he's sure we don't need to do the alterations on the 2nd tan suit that was ordered. He assured me all is well and completed. Im busy running errands so I took him on his word and didn't check the garment bags (black bags, not translucent so i could've seen it at a glance). Ziad then calls me and asks whats the name on my 2nd suit. Red flag; the suit was for another customer and my suit is still at the store. After failed negotiations for some cheap trinkets, I tell them just refund me so we can all move on. After many attempts to speak with the elusive and disrespectful con artist "Mike" (employee Ziad claimed to not know his managers last name), spoke over me disrespectfully, disregarding the level of unprofessionalism and incompetence Ziad performed, flipping the narrative saying I threatened the employees. So now I am escalating this situation and taking it to their corporate office and the mall headquarters. Do not to business with companies that do not refund their customers, EVEN WHEN THE EMPLOYEES MAKE ENORMOUS MISTAKES IN VOLUME. TERRIBLE BUSINESS WITH SHADY PEOPLE. I hope no one else falls victim. I had many issues with this company. If you are a bride or groom looking for suits for your groomsmen, I highly recommend NOT going to Men's District. For starters, my fiancé tried on a slim fit suit that fit perfectly, it was just a little long. We ordered the suit for our wedding and when it came in, the pants, the shirt, and the suit jacket were all too big. We told the employee that we ordered a different size and the fault was theirs, but we still had to pay over $100 to get it tailored. Six months before our wedding, we had asked if they do wedding parties. The man helping us, Alex, said that they did. He told me to write down the party members names and they would be able to come into any shop (we have groomsmen in different states) and ask for our party and that store would be able to help them. Fast forward a few months, one of our groomsmen goes into the store to get fitted and he asks for our party. No one knew what he was talking about. Our party was not in the system and he was unable to get fitted. We called a few times with different stores and different employees and none of them could help us. Finally, we met Sergio at the Escondido location and he was able to help us. Sergio was the only employee that actually knew company policy and did everything he could to help us. Turns out, they don't do wedding parties. There's nothing in the system like that, it pretty much just takes payment. So less than two months before our wedding, our groomsmen still did not have any suits. We ended up going to Men's Warehouse because we needed a reputable company. We also bought one too many ties and asked to return it, but they don't do returns. (What kind of store doesn't do returns???) So instead, we traded the tie in for a kids ring bearer vest and tie. They didn't have cloth samples to choose from so we could match the ring bearer's vest and tie to the groomsmen, so we had to choose the color based on paper swatches. We were hoping the vest and tie were the same color, but they were turquoise instead of mint - which clashed horribly. We asked to exchange it for the mint color in the kids size but guess what?Kids size is not available in the color we need, so we settled for the adult size vest and tie, even though the tie is too long. After a whole lot of frustration and confusion, I cannot recommend this company. Maybe to buy fun colored ties because they have a nice selection, but the suits are cheaply made, the ties are polyester, and the customer service is absolutely terrible. This place had what I needed to wear for a wedding as a non-binary AFAB person! This store is located inside the North County Westfield Mall. When I came inside I was not greeted and the male employee or owner working here wasn't super welcoming, but I got what I needed so it didn't matter too much to me. I had gone to Men's Warehouse before this and they didn't have my size shirt (smaller) and they told me to come here. I needed a grey button up dress shirt and I got the perfect one in my size! The shirt cost around 30 dollars, maybe 35, I can't remember, but it was a good price for a dress shirt. They also have belts, shoes, ties, bow ties, coats, hats, all that jazz. I came in last minute to buy a suit for my sister in law's wedding. As someone who is absolutely clueless when it comes to suits, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to figure out a nice suit to wear for the wedding. Thankfully, I ran into Walle who was extremely helpful and tended to all my questions and needs. I can't overstate how attentive he was to my questions and made sure I got a suit that made me look great. They also had a great Black Friday sale that came with a free shirt, tie, socks and handkerchief when buying a suit. This is absolutely the best experience I've had when it comes to buying suits and I'll be coming her for all other suit related purchases in the future. Brittanie helped me out this time and was very helpful, she understood my budget, made suggestions, and never made me feel pressured to buy anything out of my price range. We have been here on a few occasions and have had very helpful sales people. This past visit we purchased a dress shirt and when we came home and tried on the shirt, it didn't fit right. We had tried on one in the store so weren't sure why this shirt was different. We came back the following day and the same sales person was there. He had my husband try it on again, noticed the change and recommended a different shirt than what we purchased. They took back the other shirt, no questions, and switched it out. We were helped by Joshua during our visit to Men's District, and upon being attracted to the sale they had outside their store, we ended up buying a great quality suit combo of jacket, pants, shirt, socks, tie, and pocket square for only $300, and the quality and fit were extremely great and high quality as well. They took my $270 to order a jacket, when they found out they couldn't get the jacket they told me to pick something else. They didn't have anything else I wanted, so I requested a refund. They wouldn't give me a refund for a jacket they never ordered; stating, we don't issue refunds. Ummmm, No! You don't promise a service, fail at delivering that service and then keep the money. Initial process was amazing! I came in on a Sunday, was helped by a polite man named Alex, he helped me pick out a perfect suit and it was pretty affordable for the amount of items I was getting! I just needed to get some alterations done on the pants so, I'm told that they can do that for me and it would be ready by Wednesday Wednesday comes, I call to see if it's ready, I'm told the suit hasn't been taken in to the tailors yet but they will take it in that day and it would be ready by Sunday. I'm a little annoyed but okay So I give them a call on Friday just to check the status and they tell me that the suit still hasn't been brought in but they will bring it to another tailor and it'll be ready Saturday morning So Saturday morning comes, I call and no response. So I show up to the store and I'm told that the suit is ready but it's still at the tailors, which is 10 mins away and I can go pick it up if I'd like, so I go ahead and do that. The suit was great, fits great, looks great, nothing wrong with the suit. But I'm still disappointed, I feel things could have been handled better. I was told it would be ready on a certain day and it wasn't. I'm not sure if this is normal or if it's something that happens rarely I would tell any new customers that the suits are great but maybe have the alterations done else where read more

3.5 STARS My family came here every 6 months to get new suits and they never have the right size ok not everyone is fit in perfectly no problem so they order the size we need came in on a Sunday they said come back on Wednesday to pick it up paying over $60 to get the pants fixing cause it's too long, came back 3 times in 2.5 weeks still didn't have it. Absolutely love this place! My fiancé was a groomsman in a wedding in April and they all came here for their suits. We loved it so much we decided to come back for our own wedding! So we got my husband another suit and picked out suits for all our groomsmen! All of which live in different areas and Mens District has worked with all of them so well. Absolutely no issues! Then we came back a third time for my dad to also get a suit! Every single time they have been SO helpful, answering all the questions we have. Getting us in and out super quick. First of all I bought a suit there with a color that was not in stock. So, the suit we bought was compared to the suit at the store. They say would arrive in a couple of days. So couple of days passed and they called to say the suit had arrived and was ready for pick up. Where I saw the suit the quality of the suit we tired on and the suit that was ordered where not the same to me. Talked to the duch bag of a manager and he refused to take the suit back, u stated didn't want the suit because it wasn't the product that I thought I had ordered. He refused said it wasn't there fault and the suit was the same material. I hung up the phone because he just refused to work with me. So, the sales clerk at the store stated that if I wanted to buy another suit he would give me a 50 percent off. That's all i wanted but this dumb f.....er refused to offer me something like that, but wanted to argue with me other the phone. How childish and unprofessional. Website says open from 11am-7pm on Sunday 2/21/16. I am currently standing outside the front doors and no one is present in the store and the doors are locked. Every other store in the mall is open. Either the business needs to adjust its hours or get on the individual who is responsible for opening the store on time. Zero stars thanks for wasting my time Men's District. Went to Sears they did not have anything so i had to walk past on Mens district again, it was open so I walked in. I asked for a size 46L with 36-34 pants. He gives me 46 waist pants and says try them on man they run small. I told him I can tell just by looking at the pants they are way to big. Alex was great. Company not so much. This place is good for one suit. If your coming here for a wedding (4 matching suits in my case) don't bother. Only two of the suits matched colors. One was a darker shade than the rest. The other was close but still lil off. Back of the vests all had different shades even though they were from the same company and ordered at the same exact time.
