How does a vendor get away with offering a customer an item at a certain price and then change their mind just prior to selling it when they find out it's worth more than they want to sell it for.

The attendant went up to my daughter and told her, you shouldn't be playing with those sunglasses. I told her, she's isn't playing with them, she's trying them on. She responded with "well, they're $200 glasses". It's not like my daughter was acting inappropriately with them. She was gentle and cautious, just like an adult would be while trying them on. Also, as a responsible parent, I would have absolutely paid for them if she damaged them. I don't mind the attendant asking her to be careful, it's the way she said it. 5 minutes later my teenager went into the same store and overheard the attendant on the phone with someone saying she just kicked us out. Back in late June 2021, I was still struggling to find a dress for an upcoming wedding in the beginning of July! With only about 2 weeks left, I finally found the dress of my dreams, but the only problem was, it didn't zip up all the way in the back. I called Linda to see if she could work her magic. She said to give her a week and she'd get it done. And she did! I thought it was going to take a ton of adjustments and that it may not be possible, but Linda went above and beyond.
