Am I the only one with problems here? Every one else seemed to rave about the great customer service here, and I must say that yes, I have had GREAT customer service here from a GUY working- he's super flamboyant and just, awesome! But besides that, I seriously have had issues. And I buy shoes, a LOT. Specifically Aldo shoes. I came here this afternoon to return a pair of shoes I bought with the guy here last time that I had ordered at the store online... After going to UTC without my receipt and being denied a return, I called Aldo got all the info and came back here. Great thing was the manager didn't even give me a hassle...but... She was really rude! Like I've had her before, and she's the manager and I'm sorry but (not) she rubs me the wrong way. I believe last time I came I had really crappy service from her and this time, I even remembered her (I think I may have given her a slight piece of my mind last time) and so I tried to be diplomatic.... Unfortunately it started from the get go... She asked me 21 questions. She brought out the shoes I needed but gave me a cap at 4 shoes and wouldn't bring out another pair until I decided to remove a pair (that I hadn't even tried on yet) and made a point of telling me she does it because her store is "small"... Um, I've been to many Aldo stores and they're all SMALL, If I want to try on 5 pairs of shoes I will- what if I want them all (this is very well possible with me)... I didn't fight her on this though... She came back within like 3 minutes asking me if she could take any away (to give me the others) and I hadnt even put on the left shoe for the first ones I was trying on #fail...and when I calmly (ooooh as calmly as I could) told her, I was working on the first still...she got kind of defensive... Like she was slightly annoyed... Long story short, I found the shoes I wanted. I tried to be as nice as possible but I almost walked out and just returned cuz she gave me the worst service, and unfortunately the other girl there did too. I felt like I was being scrutinized for being there and like I wasn't to be trusted with even the bag of shoes I had initially bought because she took those from me from the get-go... And again, upon closing the sale...I had a 15% email signup and she even asked me if I had used one already and noted that I already used on the last ones... Like SO rude. As a customer, please don't belittle or insinuate anything. The point of service is to be nice and make sure I'm happy. And yes that I don't steal anything but I've been in here so many times by now that they should literally know me as customer of the week LOL. So...at the end of the day, I'm spending money and if I want to use three/four/five or ten coupons, as long as they work so be it. The point is to get me coming back. I seriously almost want to write a letter to corporate on this. Only cuz it's so lame! I love Aldo so I'll keep buying their shoes but looks like my main store is gonna be UTC from now! read more

Customer service is on point here. Come in when there was one employee and three customers and still was helped in a timely manner. The shoes here look great and the quality is good as well. I've had a pair of Aldo's for about 3 years and looks almost new still. read more

WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER. I ordered a pair of shoes from this store which they didn't have in stock at the time for a christmas present which they confirmed would arrive before christmas. NOT only did they arrive 3 days AFTER christmas, but with ONE SHOE IN THE BOX. I was beyond upset and no employee was one apologetic. NEVER ORDER OR SHOP HERE. UPDATE! THEY STILL are unhelpful and the customer service line is a joke! They haven't refunded me and still won't order me another pair of shoes. read more

In store lady: NICE, helpful, ordered Prelinna tan size 6 for me online since they didn't have my size there, and it was supposed to be shipped to my house within 6 business days. Guess what? it was never shipped. There was an error. I was suspicious because the UPS tracking # said "Order processed" but nothing after that. The live chat person on Aldo.com and the 1-888 on the phone person gave me conflicting information. I requested a refund. I was told i have to go back to the store to get the refund, or call the 888 number again. Called the 888 number, she redirected the package and processed the refund request. I better get my money back. But will I get my time back? Unfortunately no. read more

The sales associate, Yaraiza, is the one who helped me out. I had never visited this location before and was thrilled at her authenticity and positive attitude. Because of her help, I was able to find the right product, at the right price, in a matter of minutes. In the end, it wasn't just about shoes, it was about saving me time, which is the most valuable thing I have. That's why this review gets 5 stars. I wanted something very specific -- a black, sandal flat, with NO distinguishing flare (like jewels) that was very versatile (meaning it could go with almost everything) as well as be comfortable and casual. I explained to Yairaza what I was looking for and she pointed out a shoe that fit what I had described, but was a style I didn't particularly care for. She continued looking with me and somewhat went on her own to find the right shoe. I wandered off around the store for a minute or two when Yaraiza came to me with two PERFECT choices----exactly what I was looking for. Yaraiza demonstrated her excellent customer service skills by actively listening to me and taking the time to do some of the legwork herself, rather than leave me to search through a large (although, impressive) selection all on my own. I was anticipating a much longer day at the mall, but with Yairaza's help, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Thanks Yaraiza! I'll definitely stop by again! read more

I went and bought some boots from Aldo, was very excited. Loved the boots very comfortable to walk in no matter how high the heel, but the then my worse nightmare :( 2 days later I noticed that the bottom of the boot was chipping off. I called the store and they said that since they had been worn for( 2 days) there was nothing they could do. :( . As of today it has been 8mth since that day, I still wear the boots but if you were to see them you would not believe that I have had them for only 8mth they are just horrible, horrible. The leather is falling apart, they look like they are 8 yrs old. I am very disappointed, more then the shoes. I walked Into Aldo today and I was not greeted by anyone so I figured okay the sales associate might be in the back but no she was at sitting at a register. So I continue to look at the shoes and I needed a size so I was waiting to see if she would approach me but she never did so I had to go up to her and ask her. After she finished writing her text she looked up and answered me with a no that all we have. She didn't bother asking if she can help me with anything else she went back to her phone. I don't think Aldo should have their employees working with that kind and of attitude. Truly disappointed with Aldo. read more

Definitely, I am a fan! ALDO has great shoes and accesories. I have gotten lots of compliments from the little trinkets i have gotten from here ... earrings, rings and bracelets. I always watch out for their sales because you can get really cool shoes (love their boots!) at excellent prices without breaking the bank. I recently purchased an all leather, knee-high, high heeled, head turner pair of brown/tan boots for under $100 (original price was 3x that). Have not even left the store and another girl was already asking me where I got it. How's that for style? :) Keep on shopping! read more

I'm disappointed with the DISorganization so much so that I'd rather not shop at their store or online. A couple years ago, I decided to never shop with them again after I ordered a pair of shoes I really really really wanted online. I had been waiting and actually had the luck of ordering the few that were left in my size. They never came. When I called Aldo, they said that they attempted to deliver 3 times. The shoes were sent back after that since no one signed their life away to accepting them. However, I only received ONE notice of "failed delivery." Long story short, I decided I would not buy from them again after CS said they couldn't just resend them if there are no other pairs in my size left. Fast forward to 09-28-13. I received a $50 Aldo gift card. Since I had a wedding photo shoot on 10-06-13 and needed shoes, I figured I'd use it there for budget reasons. I bought the size 38 "Nunes." I wore them the next morning for breakfast and noticed something faulty with the heel. The stiletto portion was separating from the heel of the shoe. Defective! Luckily I went back to the same Aldo in the North County Fair Mall (272 E Via Rancho Pkwy, Escondido, CA), and the same guy, Arthur, from the night before was there. He was happy to help. The problem was, they did not have an additional pair in my size. No problem. Arthur said he'd order them in-store and they should come before 10-06-13. I told him about my experience a few years ago and he thought it'd be fine. I thought it'd be fine. What are the chances, right? He even had me look at the computer screen to ensure my name, address, phone number and email were all correct. They were. Shortly after, I get an email confirmation that stated: SHIPPING DATE: between Oct 07, 2013 and Oct 11, 2013 DELIVERY DATE: between Oct 03, 2013 and Oct 11, 2013 SO there's a possibility that they can arrive BEFORE they're shipped. That's cool! But, 10-05-13 rolls around and I still had no shoes. I am frantically calling around to different Aldo stores. A representative at the North County Fair Mall told me over the phone that Otay Ranch, Horton Plaza Mall and the Fashion Valley Mall locations have the shoe in my size. I called Fashion Valley Mall since they're closest to home and their line was busy for AT LEAST FIVE HOURS before I gave up. I called North County Fair back, and they too were unable to get through to the Fashion Valley Mall location. I decide to drive straight to the Horton Plaza location. They told me in person, they do not have that shoe in my size, in store. As a matter of fact, the Nunes shoes do not exist in their system. I gave her the "DCS" number (DCS: 11-08-03) that I found on the website. I even spelled it, and she read back some other name that was not REMOTELY close. They had no explanation as to why the shoes were in the system as "in-store" at their location. So I left. Frustrated. It's getting to be closing time at the malls on Saturday (still can't get ahold of Fashion Valley). I call the Otay Ranch/Chula Vista Aldo (which is a decent 22-25 miles from where I was at the time and 15-20 miles from my home). The gal, I think it was Melissa maybe Vanessa, told me that she indeed had a pair of the Nunes in black and in my size. Yesssss! I am flying on the freeway to the store that closes in less than half an hour and just my luck... they could only find HALF of the pair. The other shoe was missing and could not be located. She was very apologetic, so I figured after all this drama, I was not meant to have this pair of shoes. I accepted that. But I had no choice; I needed shoes for the photo shoot the next morning. Aldo already took my $50 gift card from me for the Nunes pair, so I end up buying the "Mican" for $110 of my own cash. Essentially, I'm $150 out of pocket trying to cut corners and budget by using the gift card. About the third week of October I still have not received my Nunes (which I intended on returning the moment they arrived since I had the Micans). I check the tracking status on the UPS website and it said they were delivered about one week before. N E G A T I V E! I never received them. I even checked with neighbors to either side of me and they knew nothing of it. I call Aldo. I was told to open a claim/investigation with UPS and that I should hear back from Aldo shortly after that. UPS called. I answered a few questions and that was at the end of October 2013. I'm never buying anything here ever again! The sales people in store are nice and helpful but the customer service at the call centres are not helpful one bit! My husband and I ordered shoes here last week. He's gotten his and after 2 days of wear they're already falling apart! My order keeps getting delayed and every time I call to check on my order they tell me something completely different and in-true! For the price you pay at the store, you can find something way better for less then half the hassle! read more

I love their shoes here!!! I would give it a five stars but their size selection wasn't all that great....however, I run on the size 5 & 6 scale so maybe that's what made it a little harder for me to find the right size. But what I really loved was the customer service I received from Sarah! Unlike other shoe stores where I would feel bad for having to ask for a second or third pair to try on, she made me really comfortable to ask for a different size or try on other styles. She also made the effort to talk to me and help me pick out a pair, without having to tell me that one pair looked better than the other or anything. She's was the sweetest! read more

Worst service ever! Kim ? A manager - a manager? Really? She needs proper training on how to deal with difficult situation and how to properly talk to people. Even my fiancé was surprised on how rude she was just from the minute we got there. She just had bad atittude 100% & this store needs communication between their employee's because i was told to come back next week to get my full refund. I will never shop in this location ever again & word would be spread of how awful this was handled! Im not one to complain but the way she handled my situation was not anywhere close as how nice/apologetic stepanie was to me last week when she said i can get my full refund, she even tried to call online for me but no one was answering and she was more than happy to assist me on taking the shoe back. I bought shoe care for the shoes now that im returning the shoe its their policy to not accept shoe care return? I get it but So i said what am i suppose to do with this now that im returning the shoe & i dont have any leather shoes to use it on. she goes sell it. Wow! Best way to answer my dear would be "it would be a great gift to others on birthdays" or come up with something nice! No compensation what so ever of even trying to go higher up to accommodate a unhappy customer!!!! I didnt even use it and got an allergic reaction to their earings -that i gave away as advised by stephanie that they cant return it for hygenic purposes! Totally undertstand but also implement to customers what last/final sales are and what can't also be returned. I don't shop a lot and for once i wanted a nice shoe for myself and this is how it turned out. This is not how (kim) a manager should talk to customers!
