SCAM! SCAM!! SCAM!! MAID SERVICES-House Cleaning. This business is a SCAM for house cleaning and maid services. They posted advertisement on the web to clean your home. When you call them regarding their adviserized rate, they send someone to your home and try to ask for more money than their advertised rate. The lady they sent to our home told us that in order to get the advertised rate, that we need an initial "first time cleaning" for $149.00. They convinced us so we agreed to their sugguestion, we paid them $149 (which was charged to our credit card as Mr. Mom). They gave us a yellow copy of "Just Maids, LLC" agreement with customer signature only (unknowningly to us at the time, that they did not sign). The agreement stated that they will send two women to clean our 2 bedroom home weekly for $85.00. We had asked for our home to be cleaned on Mondays and "Karen" the office manager said she would try her best and would call us back. We waited till Friday and still had not heard back from "Karen". We called numerous times and sometimes a Message machine was in a mans voice and sometimes in a womens voice. They never called back. We went to the address that was listed on their website - 24757 Washington Ave Ste B, Murrieta, CA 92562 and it was a clothing boutique and they told us that never heard of Just Maids. We looked at their invoice and found a 2nd address, 42525 Fig St, Murrietta and went there and that address did not exist. This business is a SCAM to get the initial $149.00 and they just keep doing it to anyone who calls them that they have not spoken to previously. They also go by other names. Below are just a few. I feel I have mixed reviews on this company, yet have a long history with them. I have actually had this organization clean my home for over 5 years now, but just recently changed to another maid service. When I first began with "Mr. Mom", the owner, Chelo, came to my house and met with me. She gave me written information on what we could expect from their services. She shared that we would have the same team every other week. The same team lasted for several months, then the team started to change. Some visits, things were great, and others were so-so. Three years ago, we started renting our house to vacationers and needed more frequent services. The company then, without any formal explanation, changed to justmaids. Chelo continued to work with me and tried to meet our needs and expectations. She actually personally would come to the house to oversee and ensure that the house was meeting our needs. Communication was strained at times due to language barriers, and expectations were not met. She hired a new helper, Karen, who was very challenging to work with. Things went sour and Chelo quit working with me a year ago. Several months ago, we spoke and she agreed to return. Now, she has Amy helping her. Again, after several months, the same team is not performing services, and I can't seem to find out what I can expect of them. So, after much contemplation, I decided to find someone else. As a business owner, I know how important communication is to keep our customers happy, and I just did not feel we were communicating effectively. When I requested my keys to be returned, I called the office and the phone was answer as "Maid Services". I was given a residential address in Murrieta to pick up my keys. I then asked Amy, if this was still Chelo's business and she replied "I don't feel I need to go into this with you at this time". I asked her since the name has changed three times, and now I was being sent to a residential address, I was concerned that this was actually Chelo's business. She reported they work out of a home (which is ok as a business owner). Long story short, I enjoyed working with Chelo, and am disappointed that business has changed. Please see my letter to the company as this is how I feel about my service. Per your agreement with my husband Scott you were supposed to do a deep cleaning for the first visit. This was to include but not limited to such items as dusting the master bedroom, cleaning the mirrors in the master bathroom, vacuum the stairs, clean the inside and outside of the microwave, wipe down the base boards, vacuum the carpet (including the edges of the carpet), dusting the fans: all of these items were not completed. I would like to remind you that I have a house full of cameras, they are very visible, and these cameras record what goes on in my house. After I came home and saw that many things were not done I reviewed the cameras to make sure that in fact these items were not completed and they were not. My husband then informed you that these items were not completed and indicated that we were not happy with the "deep cleaning" that we paid for. Instead of offering to have your crew come back out and take care of the service that we had already paid for you simply offered to make sure the items were taken care of at our next visit which you expected full payment for as well. I don't see how this is a solution. I already paid you for a service that was not completed. On top of all the items that were missed, the cleaning crew broke a Scentsy lamp in the master bedroom. The compensation that we were offered for this was an additional 30 minutes of cleaning at our next scheduled cleaning. This makes no sense we were quoted a price to have our house cleaned every 2 weeks, there should be no need for additional time, we should have been quoted for the amount of time it would take to clean our house. Speaking of time in our house, for the deep clean we were told that a crew would be there for 3.5 hours, for 30 minutes one of the ladies was sitting on our floor trying to fix the vacuum that does the stairs and gets around the edges of the carpet, I don't think she got it fixed because I am assuming that is why these areas were not cleaned in my house. I should have read the reviews before I hired just maids but I needed the service the Friday before Easter and they were the first once I found available after trying a few others. I at first was very impressed with Chalo who came out to look at the house prior to the service she talked about what they do and it sounded like it was a lot more then what other companies do the price was higher but I thought if they do all of what Chalo is describing then it's worth it. So the day of the cleaning came and Chalo showed up with the 2 girls to explain to them what the expectation of was. I am still impressed. Then they finished upstairs and I went to check and was very disappointed the rug by the tub was never picked up to sweep under it and around it still was dirty the corners in the master bathroom base plates were not clean. 1 night stand was not cleaned at all the other had a quick wipe with pledge, one of the mirrors not cleaned.... I am not going judged the walls that Chalo had agreed on cleaning because apparently they have a policy not to use magic erasers on walls so none of the marks were coming off with water, they did clean them with magic eraser at the end and this was just the stairs, 1 hall way wall scuff marks and a little piece in the master bedroom.I went down and talked to one of the girls and they went back upstairs and fixed my concerns but by this time the 4 hours that were scheduled to be at my house were almost up. Chalo called me following up on what the girls had told them ( don't know exactly what they said to her) I told her my concerns that I found upstairs and then that I was concern that their 4 hours were almost up and they had not even started downstairs ( I had a party the next day and needed the downstairs done) she was quiet for a long time and then said well the girls will just have to stay until they finished. At the end she told me again as she had before that she would follow up with me on Monday. The downstairs was done in a rush: some shelves not dusted, kitchen cabinets not even touched, floors debri in corners... The sense of urgency of one of the girls was lacking very very slow and then I found out from one of the girls that the other girl had asked to leave early that day. Chalo also told me they would sweep the porch and this was never touched. I probably would never enter the review if Chalo had followed thru with her commitment to call me back on Monday because my only concern with her was that she stayed quiet for a long time when I mention the time. The rest was that who she hired had no attention to detail and no sense of urgency but to top it off she did not call on Monday. I do want to comment that when Chalo walked into my house she said "as far as I can see so far you don't need us" I don't keep a dirty house. Other companies have done a much better job in much less time and for a lot less money. My prediction would be that this company will not be around for long. read more

My wife used Just Maids today and she is THRILLED! She has not stopped raving about how happy she is with their work, we both said it was "our Mom's would approve" clean and that's not an easy thing to achieve! We will definitely use their services again and highly recommend them. read more

I had a move out whole house cleaning and my landlord loved the shiny house when I gave my keys back. The price was also very fair. I have been using Just Maids for the last 4 months on a bi weekly basis and I couldn't be more than happy with their service. They are always on time, clean my house better than I could do it myself (and I am VERY picky). We first called to have our new home cleaned they quoted $240 for four hours. They arrived and tried to charge me $260. They spent way too much time on little things and when it came to our kitchen which needed to most cleaning they rushed. Because they spent 35 minutes trying to fix their broken vacuum. They ended up having to use our brand new vacuum. They left grease and crumbs and spills in several of the cabinets and did not clean the tops of our cabinets that I specifically pointed out. They left in a hurry and when we noticed everything that was missed I called and the lady basically said sorry but she couldn't do anything because we waited too long to call. I waited about five days because I was in the middle of moving in from out if town. She could care less and had to sympathy or resolve to our complaints. This company takes your money. Doesn't do what they promise and don't care if they do a good job. A supervisor showed up to drop off a vacuum part ( in a $50,000 Mercedes)! And said they wouldn't leave until we were happy and if they missed something they would come back. Well they have our money and could care less we are not satisfied!! read more

They do not honor their satisfaction "guarantee" and will swindle their way to additional hours with minimal work done. The cleaning team of 2 people for 3 hours did the easiest things first to take up time, and they did not even get to the second bathroom or master bedroom in the house. It took 6 total manhours of work for them to clean 2 unused spare bedrooms, the kitchen, and living room. They missed several things in the rooms they did do, such as greasy kitchen surfaces and dusty baseboards. To top it off, I have never been spoken to as rudely as I was by their (owner?) Amy when I called with my concerns. She insisted that "her girls had worked hard, and worked fast," though she was not actually at my home at any point in order to determine this. When I brought up the "satisfaction guarantee," I was explicitly told that she would not honor it because she didn't think they had done a poor or slow job. She claimed that "the way her company cleans takes more time than other cleaning companies." Avoid this company! I will be filing a complaint with the BBB (on whose website I cannot find Just Maids at all, so I'm not sure if they are even legitimate). read more
