This company is very unprofessional. They came to clean my house and they ended up damaging many items in my home. Broke my small table top safe (dropped it on the floor), broke my laptop then hid it under some papers in my room, damaged some blinds. I mean the list goes on an on. I reached out to the Manager (Chelo) and she responded two days later. She was willing to help with the mini blinds and the vertical blinds but when it came to my laptop she declined to pay to repair stating that her people said it was already broke. Well I can assure you it wasnt and why would they hide it under some papers if it was already broke. I am in the process of suing her for damages. Stay away from this company. read more

I have used Vanity Maids for years and had nothing but great experiences with Chelo and my team 4 until recently! We are moving and needed a deep clean which in most part was just "ok"! Unfortunately they put nothing back in its place, carpets, boxes, blankets etc and cleaned things I asked not to! Packed stuff in a box that were breakable and very sentimental to me. Again, asked them not to touch them! Included a statue from my dads passing that was a gift and broke it and my heart! Definitely a lack of communication After everything that happened I still wanted them to come back for a quick touch up before pictures were taken of inside the house. Vanity Maids are the absolute best!! Last year my husband and I were going through a very hard time as our daughter tried to commit suicide. There was absolutely no way I could clean my house. I got in touch with Chelo at Vanity Maids and she sent her ladies to my house right away! They then cleaned our house every two weeks for about 6 months and made our lives so much easier!! This service is the BEST. I can't tell you how committed they are to customer service and making sure everybody is happy. There are no surprises. The main reasons the supervisor comes out to meet with you to make sure that the maids focus on the things that are most important to you and then in making sure that we're happy with the cleaning.. We've LOVED that. For us, cleaning the kitchen well and having our house smell fresh and having perfect mirrors and windows is what we want more than anything else. And then to be consistently asked if we're happy with the cleaning AFTER it's done and even after we've already paid. And if there's ever been an issue, they come out again for NO CHARGE and fix whatever problem there is and then usually they even do more that we didn't even ask for. It's an amazing service! That's why I'm shocked that Yelp is only allowing negative comments, obviously from people who are doing this together --- maybe from a competing cleaning service? Who knows??? But note that there are at least 10 other VERY POSITIVE reviews below that Yelp will not allow in as recommended reviews. Why? We have no idea. After several months, they left and it was a different team who would come for majority of the services before COVID which was concerning but I understood and was patient. Then COVID hit and I postponed my service for over several weeks and would reschedule because the pandemic kept getting worse and was not ready to have people in my house. When I was finally ready, I called Vanity Maids several times, would leave a message each time but no one would call back. The owner or a representative of the company comes out on all first-time cleanings to make sure you are getting what you want, cleaned. On the rare occasion something was missed, they immediately come back to take care of the concern. This says something positive about the company, not negative. I called this service a few years ago when my back problems made it too hard to for me to do the house cleaning myself. Chelo came by to give me a very reasonable quote. Two ladies come to my house and do an excellent job, especially in the kitchen and bathrooms. I am not always able to get the same ladies, but that does not matter because all of them are wonderful. My dog, a big, lovable chocolate lab, thinks they come to visit him, so he pesters them, but they are so sweet to him. They call him by his name and let him hang out with them. I made an appointment either last week of March or first week of April. Karen was so "prompt" to make several changes to our time schedule: from 10AM, to 1PM to 130PM (because the cleaners have lunchtime too-of course!) on April 19th, Saturday. It's the only day I could accommodate cleaners because I have other services scheduled that week before my husband comes home that following weekend, so I agreed. 130 came and no cleaners. 2PM I called Just Maids, answering machine. It was a NO CALL NO SHOW! I had to cancel the appointment. I ended up cleaning my house even though I have other things to do on schedule. I wouldn't recommend that you waste your time even considering this business to clean your house. They are so unprofessional, inconsiderate and disorganized. The lady who came to do an estimate didn't even do the complete checklist of the estimated areas that I want cleaned. I found this company, I called them to schedule a visit for a quote, they were very reasonable price wise, got my first deep cleaning after moving into this house, I was very happy with the ladies that came to clean, they called the next day to see how satisfied I was with their service and I was very satisfied with it, we scheduled the cleaning for the following month and they didn't show up, waited all day and nobody called me to tell me why they failed to miss their appointment I got a call the next morning they sent a lady who I was very happy with but the amount the charged me wasn't the amount e agreed on, but I still paid so I wouldn't put the lady they sent in the middle of it. We had them for 11 months and one day when they where cleaning our house one of the girls broke a plate from our wedding. They said they would give us a check for it and that they can no longer clean our house. We don't have a lot of china. We where told that the girls didn't feel comfortable in our house and would not come back. We asked for another team and they said that they couldn't give us any. I have been using Just Maids for several years. I have read the comments listed and will confirm that the company has had several name changes in the past, but it has never affected their performance. They do a fantastic job. The initial price is a normal business practice. They do the first job at a reduced rate to get into the house and show you that they are worth the price at a regular rate. I do not have a problem with that. When they get in and do the job, it is much better than I could have ever done, and I only have them work on the tough jobs (kitchen, bathrooms, base boards, dusting, hard wood floors). I can vacuum the house myself. I don't have them waste their time doing a job that I can do. You are going to get charged for the amount of hours. Just Maids will always work with you on what is needed. They want to put you on a regular service, that is called doing business. I don't have a problem with that either. I let them know that I only need periodic service and will call when I need more of a Spring Cleaning. It costs more, because it takes longer to clean my big house, and they need more help. But it is worth the cost when they are done. I normally call for service every 4 to 6 months. The bill is less than a routine weekly/monthly scheduled service for the same amount of time. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for a good and fair cleaning service. read more

If it had not happened to me, I don't know that I would even believe this story on a Yelp review. But we have used this service on and off for a couple years. For many months we had them come twice a month. In the beginning, we called because of their $99 first-time cleaning offer. This did not happen, with the owner, 'Chelo', explaining that they need to establish a "base clean" for them to "maintain" each following visit so more work would be needed to start, and we ended up paying $149. After that, we did not have many problems outside of them asking to use our vacuum after theirs apparently broke on one occasion. However, after we stopped the bi-monthly service for some time for financial reasons, we called them back toward the beginning of this year ahead of a party at the house to help us get the house clean. They gave us a date and time window, which we adjusted work schedules around to make sure someone was home. After waiting for multiple hours beyond the time window we had been given, we called, and two maids finally arrived accompanied by 'Chelo'. 'Chelo' was very apologetic and assured us that the house would be finished, no matter how late they had to stay. After I went to another room of the house, an argument ensued in Spanish between 'Chelo' and the two maids. Beyond the unprofessionalism of having an argument inside a client's home, I am assuming they did not think I understood Spanish given the very profane language they were using. I gathered that one of the maids was quitting and going to leave, followed by 'Chelo' telling the remaining maid that she needed to stay alone and get the job done. I have a larger home and knew that this would not be possible with one maid unless she planned to stay well into the late evening, given how late they already were. I made my way to the room they had been arguing in only to find 'Chelo' and the maid who quit were both gone. I went out front just in time to see 'Chelo's' car speeding away. I spoke with the remaining maid, who was crying, and she said this happens often, and that the maid who quit had done so and been rehired three times in the past. She told me she would do her best and got to work upstairs. We tried calling 'Chelo' for the rest of the day with no response or return call. Hours later, at about 6:30, the lone maid came downstairs in tears and said her husband had just broken down on the freeway and asked if it was OK if she left. We told her that was fine, and she told us she was quitting after that day because of how they treat their employees. We checked the house and she had not been able to finish even half and had not even made it downstairs yet. 'Chelo' finally called back the next day, and it was a battle to get her to send another team to FINISH the job that was supposed to be done, but she finally agreed, but without discounting the service. Leading into Thanksgiving, we called one last time hoping for a better experience. They were to come today between 12:30 and 1:00 for four hours of cleaning, and we again adjusted work schedules to accommodate. They did not arrive until 2:30. I immediately called to ask for a discount, given our experience last time coupled with today. I spoke with 'Chelo', who said she needed to ask a 'supervisor' (even though she is the owner), and then came back to tell me no. I told her that is unacceptable, and she responded that we needed to be more accommodating and understanding because the previous home had asked for more time (for more money) so the crew stayed later (of course, without even calling to ask if that was OK with us). When I responded that it is the business' job to accommodate the customer, not the other way around, especially after the legitimate drama her business brought into my home the last time coupled with today. With me still on the line, she then proceeded to three-way call one of the maids who had just arrived in my house and told her to leave and the job was cancelled. I asked her what she was doing and she promptly hung up on me. After trying to call her back with no answer, I looked for the maids to have them call her but they had left, leaving the front door wide open. After doing some research on the company, it seems the company does not have a physical address and has done/does business under several names. I will be contacting the BBB and looking into other avenues as far as the legitimacy of this business. After my last contact with 'Chelo', I am not even comfortable with her having my credit card information and wouldn't be surprised if she tried to bill me anyway so I have put a hold on it. I would steer far clear of this business, and hope this saves others from the same type of nightmares. read more

SCAM! SCAM!! SCAM!! MAID SERVICES-House Cleaning. This business is a SCAM for house cleaning and maid services. They posted advertisement on the web to clean your home. When you call them regarding their adviserized rate, they send someone to your home and try to ask for more money than their advertised rate. The lady they sent to our home told us that in order to get the advertised rate, that we need an initial "first time cleaning" for $149.00. They convinced us so we agreed to their sugguestion, we paid them $149 (which was charged to our credit card as Mr. Mom). They gave us a yellow copy of "Just Maids, LLC" agreement with customer signature only (unknowningly to us at the time, that they did not sign). The agreement stated that they will send two women to clean our 2 bedroom home weekly for $85.00. We had asked for our home to be cleaned on Mondays and "Karen" the office manager said she would try her best and would call us back. We waited till Friday and still had not heard back from "Karen". We called numerous times and sometimes a Message machine was in a mans voice and sometimes in a womens voice. They never called back. We went to the address that was listed on their website - 24757 Washington Ave Ste B, Murrieta, CA 92562 and it was a clothing boutique and they told us that never heard of Just Maids. We looked at their invoice and found a 2nd address, 42525 Fig St, Murrietta and went there and that address did not exist. This business is a SCAM to get the initial $149.00 and they just keep doing it to anyone who calls them that they have not spoken to previously. They also go by other names. Below are just a few.
