During service Tom indicated that he was not going to service the fuel system. First saying there was a recall then that he would discuss the issue with a VW tech and get nack to me. Following this conversation, I got no response. If I had known that there were certain services that he would not or could not perform, there is no way I would have brought my car there. When I reached out, Tom recommended that I bring it to a local dealership after I pick it up... Finding a trustworthy mechanic not to mention a VW specialist isn't easy and unfortunately this is one shop I won't use again and I can't recommend! One final note, the invoice I received listed the costs for labor and parts combined which makes charges hard to dicifer.

I'm incredibly frustrated by what happened to my car at this shop. I own an S2000 that I baby more…read morethan my 718, F87 M2C, and G29 Z4. So before trusting anyone with it, I did a thorough search of shops in my area to make sure it would get the highest-quality treatment. Bodymotion had touchless tire-mounting equipment and solid customer reviews, so I decided to bring my S2000 here and pay the premium they charge. When I picked up the vehicle, I noticed damage on the fender that wasn't there before. I pointed it out, and they claimed it was pre-existing and that they'd noted it before starting service. I hand washed this car the day before drop-off. There is no way I would have missed cosmetic damage like this. They then told me it was caused by my oversized tires. While the tires are larger than stock, I had the fenders rolled to fit them properly and have run this setup without issue for 20 years. As "proof," they showed a photo taken before the work. But it was shot from a distance, the supposed damage is barely visible, and a photo like that proves nothing, since it could just as easily have been taken after the damage occurred. At no point would they acknowledge even the possibility that the damage happened in their care, which made further dialogue pointless. Customers beware. If you still choose to bring your car here, insist on a documented pre-inspection of the entire vehicle with a staff member before any work begins, and photograph everything yourself. I came in for a tire change and got it. But I'm now left hunting for a body shop to repair my fender, and it certainly won't be this one. Edit: Found a photo from a month ago (newly added). So it's either the damage occurred over the last month, which is unlikely because it barely gets driven ('02 MY and 35k miles), or damaged post drop-off. You be the judge.

I got them down to a close to what I wanted OTD price, but two days later I had a question on the vehicle's capacity sticker. So, I went to the dealership and stood by the unit on the lot. I then called my salesperson (Travis) on my cellphone and asked my legitimate question about the cargo capacity sticker as it varies by vehicle and how they are equipped. I asked for a picture of it. Travis told me. "It's out on a test drive with another customer and if it doesn't sell, I'll get back to you." I was standing right next to it (while they claimed it was currently out on a test drive). I was ready to buy that day, but glad I didn't. And no, it hadn't just come back. I had been there for a couple of hours inspecting it before calling him. I got the deal I wanted elsewhere. I'm all for the nature of the business and the fact that they need to max profit and the customer max savings. But when there is bold-faced lying, that's when I walk. If you want a deal, do not go into this or any dealership at all. Do it all in writing and force them to give you the best OTD price in writing (itemized). All of the "Can I get you coffee?" while they disappear for 20 minutes at a time, is old-fashioned and stupid. There are now even AI agents that will negotiate for you under a bogus e-mail address, to start the process. Don't fall for the "schedule an appointment" nonsense. It's all a stupid tactic. In writing, get the OTD price, take it with you, then do the test drive, and finalize.

Their prices are reasonable and on several occasion they have figured out intelligent ways to save me a substantial amount of money. One example, the shifter in my Lexus SUV went bad, Lexus only sells the entire shift assembly for well over $500. TLC took the time to identify the part number and source the $15 switch inside the assembly that went bad. This resulted in a bill of around $100 instead of $800. They have done things like this for me several times over the years. Don't be put off by their quiet demeanor, as you get to know them you'll find that in addition to their skill and honesty, they are very nice people. In an industry that's riddled with rip off artists TLC is without question a rare breed.

The last time I had an oil change they ran the codes and told me that I would have to get my entire catalytic converter and leaky radiator replaced or I would fail my next inspection, and quoted me $2300. So when the check engine light popped at EXACTLY the right time to cause my inspection to fail, I panicked and assumed that I would have to throw a ton of money at my poor little car to keep it street legal... ...enter Bradley's Auto Service, who diagnosed it as a simple exhaust leak. For less than the price of what AAA quoted me for the radiator alone they repaired the leak, replaced the radiator, and re-inspected the car (it passed this time, wooohooo!) in one afternoon. Now I don't have to worry about being pulled over, having poor commuters get stuck behind me while merging on the parkway because it takes fifteen minutes to get up enough inertia to go the speed limit, or waking up the whole neighborhood while driving down the street. I then found a rental in Toms River off route 9. A day and half before my need to for a 9 ft. Cargo van, I go to check my reservation in Toms River and Uhaul.com deleted the wrong reservation. So I had no rental vehicle. I went to Ocean Auto Tech and went online to reserve a cargo van. Showed up and everything was perfect. New van with 7,000 miles, great AC and best deal available. Spent the day moving my daughter from her rental apartment to her newly purchased apartment. Had the van back bu closing and it was easy, final bill sent via email. Friendly staff and easy to rent and because it's located at a gas station, easy fill up. Definitely rent again.
