She has been able to recreate every picture I've ever taken her and frequently see her with a nail or two of her own with a new creation she's testing out. You can tell she takes great pride in her work and truly cares about her customers. They are always able to get me in on short notice when I forget to make an appointment ahead of time, and their prices are super reasonable. Their pedicures are so die for too. The Royal pedicure is definitely worth the splurge! Even their standard pedicure makes me feel so pampered. They don't have the traditional chairs/foot rubs, so they have you sit back in a super comfy lazy boy and bring out a big bowl of water with lemon slices and sometimes flower pedals They are also super clean and always making improvements to the shop and their services. All of the women there are so nice and will always engage in conversation if you start talking to them. They also don't take offense when you want some quiet time or need to get some work done. After a few mins, a super friendly woman seated both of us, set me up with a foot soak and began to take care of my BF. During this time 2 more people came into the salon. I watched one woman get seated immediately for her manicure; the other was seated for a pedicure and told to wait. A tech came out to start the manicure then when the other tech was available she headed over to the 2nd woman who came in after us. I had been sitting for nearly 10 min by this point. My BF's tech noticed what I was witnesses and said something. After that one of them reluctantly came over to take care of me. It was a strange vibe and a bit irritating b/c I actually made an appointment and had already been waiting. So that is why I am taking a star away. Aside from that, the quality of the manicure/pedicures was excellent. I opted for a gel pedicure which came out perfect and my BF had a wonderful experience. Ivy is super kind and does a beautiful job on nails, and Kathy is amazing for pedicures--very thorough and attentive. The salon itself is spacious, airy, and not overcrowded like many other nail salons. The seating is comfortable but still stylish, which makes the whole experience feel more relaxing. They also offer drinks and snacks, which is a nice touch--I enjoyed a mimosa during my visit and left feeling good and pretty. Parking is easy, which is always a plus. I don't go as often as I would like so I upgrade my pedi to the deluxe one that comes with an added bath bomb in the foot spa, scented sea salt scrub and the same scented lotion. The extensions would not stick at all. The lady tried for over 20 minutes and they kept popping off. I told her to just do gel instead, and that's when the owner came and said they would "try a different glue." At this point I just wanted to keep it simple. She also kept trying to upsell everything, even something as small as cleaning cuticles for $8 more. I said no, but she kept insisting because she didn't understand. It was really hard to communicate because no one seemed to speak English well enough to understand what I was asking. I asked for almond shape and ended up with oval.
