And I spent nearly $60K on brick and tile at this place. First, the upcharge on freight was bananas. I ordered tile from a total of 4 vendors... One was the same tile quoted by Thomas Brick at 20% the freight costs (same tile, same quantity, same origin, same destination... 80% cheaper freight). I also purchased tile online from 3 vendors, 4-5 times as much tile per order, most California so it had just as far to go.. and didn't pay as much freight as they upcharged for 1/4th as much tile. And finally (and most bizarrely), I opted to pick up one type of tile myself... 7 boxes (by the way, freight on 7 boxes was $600+). I was told I'd have to load it myself... no worries, it's 7 boxes. But when it came in, suddenly I was given a whole bunch of mushy reasons why I had to go all the way across town to pick it up... First it was "manpower limitations", then it was "policy"... None of it was explained ahead of time. You'd think with those crazy freight costs they would deliver it to the store from which I ordered it? Also, they charge more tax than other places. Everyone else charges tax for the location of the jobsite or delivery, which is lower in my case, but their "policy" is to charge the full Cuyahoga county tax despite jobsite.

Well to me it didn't look like a natural occurrence...but they never addressed it with me. Extremely dismissive when I called, and nobody ever came to look at it even though they promised they would. Sight unseen they called it a fissure. Does it look like a fissure? I don't know...to ME it looks like a long scratch. But nobody ever came to inspect it. I'm actually writing this review now as I have had plenty of time to cool off and write with honestly and not let my anger fully invade my writing. Feel like I was treated very unprofessionally. What company argues with a client over the phone like that? Very rude.

Holding them side by side they feel different in your hands and are different shades as well (although both considered "elliptical oak"). Best Laminate insists this is not an error on their part and it is just made in different places. I was trying to match the "Pro" flooring I have. Nowhere on the online listing does it say the word "Original", but it does say "Pro". I feel this was an error on their part. I did not order a swatch because it said "Pro" and the number/color matched. They are allowing me to return it, but I do have to pay shipping both ways which will come out to be about $300-400. This was a huge hit for me being a single mom of 3 already having to pay for the floor restoration after a water leak. PLEASE order a sample before buying from them to be sure that it matches. I would honestly check your local stores rather than order from Best Laminate. They charged me 630+ the shipping for what my local Carpet Exchange gave me for $350 total and shipping wasn't necessary.
