I would love for this establishment to know all the wonderful things about my husband, he is and an amazing husband, father, teacher, and Veteran. Unfortunately all these wonderful things are lost to some based on the color of his skin. No one should be made to feel singled out or discriminated against just for walking into a store. I chose builders white semi-gloss exterior paint to do door frames. For the porch glider I wanted a stain, and I told her the color I was wanting--a burgundy. When I arrived the employee came out with a lot of shades of burgundy stain samples. I chose one and she went in to mix the color. Fortunately, everything I wanted was 30% off, and I had a 10% coupon from online. I gave her my credit card, and she brought out everything. The addresses of the stores are confusing on the website, and HQ should fix them. This is the Chagrin Falls Store. The store on Aurora Road is the Bainbridge store. Employees at both stores, because I went to the wrong store, said customers every day get the stores mixed up due to the website. I would think this is an easy fix for IT.

Each employee I've worked with have been patient with me as I try to make a decision on a color and they also helped me decide if I wanted to wallpaper in the future or not (they have wonderful wallpaper choices too that many don't know about). The service is great here but be aware since it is a popular location, it tends to be crowded but they do their best to keep the line moving. Go in the mornings or mid afternoon. During rush hour seems to be the busiest. The reason I am giving this four stars and not five is that I called in the morning to ask a few questions about getting paint for the outside of our house for touch up. When I asked if I should get Satin or Flat and what is normally used, the person on the phone said "Ma'am, I do not know, it is not my call, it's your house" in a very annoyed voice after I asked three questions before hand trying to figure it out. I understand it is early in the morning, but they are open and I would expect great service like I always have but I explained to the man on the phone that I apologize for pushing his buttons and I'll take my business somewhere else. I was very disappointed with the above interaction I had with the sales associate because I have always had a great experience there where the associates and managers were always very helpful and always lended a hand in helping me find exactly what I am looking for. "Petitti Garden Center" is an awesome place to shop for anything you might need for your yard or garden. They have everything from locally sourced plants of every kind (spring, summer, fall, winter, sun or shade), to lawn care products for every need (seed, fertilizer, pest control, etc), to pottery, yard art, patio furniture and on and on. It is the really rare occasion that they don't have what I need. And they have so many locations they're easy for anyone to reach. I included a few pics of some of my gardens. Since our couch order was heavy, we opted for 'room of choice' as our delivery option, which included the delivery team carrying the couch up a max of 2 flights of stairs. This was needed by us because we're on the 3rd floor of an apartment that doesn't have elevators. On the day of delivery, the 3rd party delivery service that's contracted with BB&B sends us something with fine print that states they only carry orders over the threshold of the building, and leave it there. When we ask to maintain the service we paid for, our delivery was cancelled, pending working it out with BB&B customer service. Next, customer service repeatedly tries to tell us we requested something outside the listed terms of 'room of choice' delivery, thinking we were asking them to go up more than two flights of stairs. Once they finally understood we didn't ask for anything that wasn't included in that delivery option, tmhey told us they would refund the extra money for the delivery option we paid for, but it was up to us to take the couch up the stairs. When we told them that was unacceptable and wanted a refund, they initially claimed it would be labeled "buyers remorse" and we'd be charged anywhere between $100-695, which would be 50% of the total price. After standing up for ourselves and pointing out that this was false advertising, (we were denied a service that was included in what we paid for), they eventually granted us a full refund, after weeks of arguing back and forth. What a nightmare. The company never took any responsibility in the process for contracting with a company that refused to meet a service they advertised, nor did they attempt to find another delivery service that could accommodate. Pathetic customer service, they lost a customer for life. Don't order online with them!
