I am SO glad I had the opportunity to visit the museum before it closed to the public. My grand daughter, who is almost 3, loves bugs more than dinosaurs and was thrilled seeing them all. She especially loved the collection of lady bugs in the back. It is such a beautiful place and wish I'd had been to visit during one of the story times.

The creativity and imagination are SO GOOD and we love how helpful the staff are. This is perfect for those looking to explore, someone who loves a hidden room or a mystery book. The experience combines a ghost story, artwork, music, exploration and so much more. I noticed way more kids at this location than I did at the Vegas or Denver spot, and perhaps it was just timing, but I did feel it wasn't scary for kids. Being in the Grapevine Mall also probably caused more families to visit. It wasn't a negative to our experience, just something to note for other families who are interested.

I've been more than once and somehow I still don't get bored. It honestly feels like a different experience every time. If you're thinking about going, DO IT. It's such a fun place, whether you're going with friends, family, or even by yourself. The only bad part? Eventually you have to leave... and go back to reality. Definitely one of my favorite places to go in DFW. I call it my happy place I seriously can't wait to visit the other Meow Wolf locations too. They have nearly every console and you can play almost all of them or at least something from each era. The giant pong game is an absolute must for geeks of all ages. I could spent another couple of hours in there if the lil one would have been willing. Your admission includes 4 tokes and you can play some classics and little known arcade games. This is not anything compared to Pinballz or Game Preserve, but it is a fun addition and we enjoyed it.

Parking is easy, it's next to the library so no charge to park and all access is flat. Overall it's a good visit but will only occupy 1-2 hours.
