If you like history or old houses/ architecture, this may be worth a stop. I'm not particularly drawn to that, but knew a friend working here recently, so thought I'd stop by to check it out and say hey.
It was cool to see the house, and to see it still very preserved as to what it would have been in the time he was living there. I especially liked the second floor of the house because it was cool to see the bedrooms. It made me want an outdoor sleeping porch to cool down on summer nights... but nonetheless I'm glad to live in a time where there's air conditioning!!
They also have a few old fashioned cars to see. So, if that's something you like too, you may enjoy a quick visit. I'm also not much of a car person, so I can't remember what's there.
Since it's also a farm, they have some information about farming back in the day too, which was good to see. I think my favorite part were the animals. They have some chickens and roosters, but the best was the donkey named Stinky! Haha!! Luckily, having a friend that worked there, we were able to get him to come over and say hello and even feed him some carrots. So cute... and thankfully, not too stinky ;) read more
