Check out the details at www.SunsetTrail.com! Sept. 26- Oct. 31

Do they have any apple trees to pick from?

Sorry we do not! Blackberry season runs around May 15- July 4th. We also have vegetables you can pick at that time. Currently we are getting ready for our big Pumpkin Patch event!

PUMPKIN PATCH (2023)…read more Found this little local gem on Yelp. The reviews were older, but we were in the area so we took a gamble and drove over (2023) for the pumpkin patch. For $5 you get to park your car in the adjacent lot and gain admission to their little fair (we had cash, not sure if they accept credit or debit). There were a bunch of pumpkin displays, free hayride, kid activities, vendors selling local goods (knits, clothing, baked goods, soaps, popcorn, honey, etc.), and a haunted maze for $2 admissions within the grounds. Some of the activities require additional cost (like the pumpkin painting for the kids). They have chickens roaming around the property (they usually stay near their little chicken coop in the far back). The free hayride was fun, just a little ride around their property- nothing spectacular. The kids on our tour ride seem to enjoy it :P If you're looking to spend about 40 mins or less at a pumpkin patch, this is the place to go!

She really…read moreloves her animals & takes great care of everything in the property including her customers safety. I came here because a few of my clients highly recommended Lola's Market to me because of its quality & super friendly customer service. Plus it is local & who doesn't love fresh & local things? She has clear signs before you enter the property to make sure everyone is safe. I love it maybe because I'm a big "sign" person. Haha This is NOT a Zoo, please don't chase her animals & respect her simple & basic rules for not doing so. Just like you want people to respect your own house rules & you don't want people squeezing & chasing your children (well, at least I don't). Pets are not allowed inside so they don't try to chase/fight/eat her chickens for instance. My dog would love to do that, but he didn't as he was kept in the car & enjoyed the beautiful country view from there. :) This is a very stylish country place with a lot love, time & energy spent into it. Everyone with an open mind, respectful attitude & a open heart is welcome. Even if you just want to stop by to say hello. Mona & her animals will be happy to see you. Her deco is cute, but no it is NOT for sale. Most of the cute things there was given to Mona by old friends, customers & her grandmother. We love the fact that she shares it with us & we have the opportunity to admire it. Everything has a story behind & meaning. I highly recommend her place, it is very unique & welcoming. It is too sad that people are entitled & go out of there way to try to damage a person's dream & hard work. Some people have absolutely NO idea what it takes to run a successful business. Ignore the hate & very negative things people have to say. Don't even take my word for it. Go there & check it out for yourself. You'll love it too especially if you have learned how to appreciate the value of simple things in life. Mona, I just want to say thank you very much for you being who you are & for keeping the doors open to serve us fresh & local produce. There are many people out there looking for what you have to offer & we are very grateful for your hard work. Your place is a gem & we can't recommend it enough, Linda

I was so joyfully greeted on this cloudy & rainy morning. I immediately wanted one of everything, so I asked for a moment to take in all the wonderful offerings and make my selection. I immediately knew I wanted fresh bread to take home & selected the cinnamon raisin bread loaf. They kindly sliced it for me before bagging it up. I also chose the Banana Nut Muffin with Chocolate Chips. I planned to take my goodies home, but barely made it to the car before I dig into the muffin and ended uo finishing the entire thing in the car - it was SOOO good and so filling! When I got home I dug into the bread. My favorite bread back home was the raisin hazelnut and Bresnan's cinnamon raisins is better! Full of soft raisins the bread, while I hate this word can't think of a better description, was moist. I ate another slice and then my son (picky eater) asked for a bite. He was so impressed he asked for a slice. It's been 24hrs and there are 3 slices left! I may have to go back again this week to get another loaf. There will be many more reviews of Bresenan to come as I plan to go back and try other breads as well as the baked goods and cookies. I also plan to bring a book on one of these visits. Maybe set up in the beautiful window seats or a cozy and quiet table to enjoy my fresh baked treat with a coffee and relax.

We visited Yum of India for lunch today. The ambiance is very nice--new, clean, charming, and thoughtfully decorated. It's clear that the owner has invested significant time and money into building the place. Unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations. We ordered the paneer biryani, and it was extremely salty and largely tasteless. When we informed the front desk staff, there was no response or effort to address the concern--no offer to replace the dish, remake it, or provide any alternative. The reaction felt more like "eat it or leave." After paying $15, we left still hungry and had to drive to another restaurant to eat. Even at the time of payment, when we mentioned we were going elsewhere for food, the front desk staff simply smiled and showed no empathy or concern. While the restaurant looks great, food quality and customer service are critical. Unfortunately, both were lacking during our visit. I hope the owner focuses more on consistency in food quality and customer experience, as the potential is clearly there. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this place at this time, as it was not worth the drive or the time.
