Based on my experience, Guardian Windows checks the boxes that matter: quality product, professional installation, reasonable pricing, and respectful customer service. Guardian Windows is a small family business managed by Marty and his son Robert. From the first interaction, you can tell they value your time and your business. They explain their product clearly, answer questions, and provide a fair price without aggressive sales tactics. Another thing I really appreciate is that they have their own installation crew, which is not always common in this price range. The crew, led by Jose, treated my house with care, installed everything professionally, and cleaned up the debris inside and outside once the job was done. The new windows look like they have always been part of the house. The windows themselves feel sturdy and well-made. They made of a premium vinyl and have strong energy-efficiency features. I also chose the sound-reduction package with an STC rating of 33. They are made in Texas with the Texas climate in mind. I'm genuinely happy with my experience and with the final result. If you are doing your own research before making a major investment in your home, I highly recommend giving Guardian Windows a serious look. Out of…read more3 bids, theirs was the most reasonable, plus I saw that they had a history of good reviews and had also done good work for a friend. Overall I was very impressed by the quality of installation of the siding -- Hardie board underlain by 3/4" strandboard, with sealant and painting. The precision of assembly was quite good, and a considerable improvement in strength and durability over the original siding. Likewise, the doors were installed with good precision, and they function well. I was less impressed with the finer painting of the doors. The basic contract included only exterior painting of the doors in the same color as the exterior of the house. We wanted a different colored door, plus we wanted to have the interiors of the doors painted, as well as the addition and painting of corresponding trim (doors have 2 sides). This was all coordinated directly with the project supervisor for an additional fee. This additional work was mostly completed on the final day of the project, and appeared to be a rush job. The trim was added with rough jointing, and the painting around the doors was amateurish with much overpainting of adjacent surfaces. I had to subsequently revise the painting myself to achieve an adequate quality. Overall, the work on the exterior siding and door installation was excellent, and I highly reccommend Advanced Home Exteriors for this. Finer painting about the doors was a weaker area, and I'm knocking off a star for that.

This is an owner and a company of integrity, expertise, and over 30 years of experience in building doors and windows. Michael is a perfectionist and expects nothing less of his people who build and do the installations. I was given a tour of the work rooms where they do their "magic" to assemble these beautiful doors, all the way from the planks of wood with the bark still intact to the gorgeous finished product. It was amazing. The gentleman who builds, sands and finishes the doors, Adolfo, is an unbelievable woodworking artist . Mario and Mario II were experts installing the door, which requires a lot of skill and is a messy job, but my foyer was as clean when they left as when they came, maybe cleaner. They cleaned up every speck, super nice men. There are so many beautiful doors to choose from, it's difficult to choose, not only the door, but the hardware as well; however, Michael is an expert in helping you choose the perfect door and hardware to match the style and exterior of your home. I rarely review companies, but this company is too amazing not to. After all, your front door is like the elegant jewelry of your home. We will def use them again for the rest of our windows! We replaced an old builder grade front door and put storm doors on all exterior doors. The front door is composite but it looks like real wood. It is really beautiful. The installations were all perfect and comprehensive. The Cambridge crew did a great job on everything: professional, great work, on time, and neat. Diana coordinated the installations and kept us well informed at all stages. One small hiccup is being resolved as I write this. They don't have a big crew so we had to be a bit flexible on scheduling, but they show up when they say they will and work hard the whole time.
