John and Mario were excellent. The process started with John's inspection and initial measurement of my windows. Then, I was given a very competitive price. Mario came to do the precise measurements, and then he came out again with the contractors to complete the project. The windows are high quality, double paned and are a stark improvement over the original aluminum windows from the 1970s. I had to get replacement windows because my 35 years old town home is extremely drafty and susceptible to outside noise on a busy street. I got quotes from Pella, Andersen and Sears. The quote from Value Windows was 2/3 of the other replacement window sellers. The installation was quick and professional. The installers did a great job of troubleshooting issues due to my building being so old. The double-paned vinyl windows were a massive improvement over my old windows. No more drafts from the outside, and the noise level from the outside was cut more than half. I waited nearly a year before I posted the review because I wanted to see how it holds up during both hot and cold weather. So far so good. I'm very happy with Value Windows & Doors. read more

My family contacted several companies for a quote on double windows, and long story short, this company had the best pricing. They are a large company in the west coast and are expanding their business in Texas. They told us they are able to do better pricing than some of the other companies because they have in-house manufacturers, and are able to get the parts for a lower price. We have a total of 34 windows large and small in our two story house. On the day of remodeling, a total of 8 people showed up at our house. They all immediately got to work. As lunch time approached, we asked if we should go buy pizza and drinks for them. They told us they will take care of themselves, for us not to worry. They took a break at 1 pm, ate quickly outside on our driveway. At 1:30 pm they were all up and back to work again. As 6 pm approaches, some were still doing finishing touches, but most were gathering up the trash, sweeping up the floor, trying to make our house cleaner for us. This team of 8 finished replacing all the windows in our house in just ONE DAY! They came on the second day to change the only window left, which is the tiny window above the garage. After breaking the glass, we realized that once you go in to replace the window, there is no out. They were very professional by thinking quickly on their feet. They resolved this problem by creating an opening on the garage ceiling for the worker to climb out of, and bought parts to reseal the ceiling for us. Overall, they were quick, efficient, extremely hardworking crew. We really appreciate everything they've done and are absolutely in love with our new double windows. Fantastic product and service. The process is as follows - ken came to take measurements and provided me with a competitive quote. Then another person that works with the installer, came out and verified the measurements. They told me four weeks but it was actually less. The crew showed up, all six of them, removed my old windows, and began the installation of the new windows. I had a large portrait window installed, and I was impressed with their efficiency and workmanship. My first home project....Went very well. A little disappointment in the customer service department, but everything worked out in the end. I had been concerned about the delay on the installation but Robert assured me that my windows and patio door would be installed timely. Yes I was also nervous about the fit of everything since my home was built in the 1960's. Mario an installer, looked at me, smiled and said, it is okay to be nervous, I have dealt with all types of customers. I know what I am doing and when I finish you will see. Don't sweat the small stuff. In the end during installing the huge (96") patio door, a piece of rotten wood was discovered. I thought OMG! now I will have to go without a patio door until they could make a new one to fit. Well, Mario replaced the wood, and properly fit the patio door. I have 12 windows and 1 patio door that are beautiful, and when you look out of them it's like seeing a clearer better version of the same view. Oh, and the price was perfect and unbeatable! Yes they are cheap, but have to have hard time to communicate, terrible customer service if you have any problem with their windows. Not recommended, if you like to have better customer service especially after sale, you should go with other local companies. read more

TERRIBLE customer service. I called this morning to find out information and the man who answered the phone was extremely rude to me, I asked for a manager and he hung up on me. I called back again and spoke with a woman, asked for the manager and she said he wasn't available. When I asked for his name she wouldn't give it to me. She hung up on me as well. I called back for a third time, was transferred to a sales person, asked for a manager and finally talked to someone named John, who said he was the manager. When I explained what happened he asked what I wanted him to do about it. I said I wanted an apology for the way I was treated, especially since I was about to bring my parents in to come in and spend A LOT OF MONEY with them. He refused to apologize for his teams customer service, and he himself hung up on me again. VERY RUDE people, terrible business team. I'm so glad I CALLED first to find out information before I drove out there to buy from them. Will never recommend this place. read more
