Another thing I really appreciate is that they have their own installation crew, which is not always common in this price range. The crew, led by Jose, treated my house with care, installed everything professionally, and cleaned up the debris inside and outside once the job was done. The new windows look like they have always been part of the house. The windows themselves feel sturdy and well-made. They made of a premium vinyl and have strong energy-efficiency features. I also chose the sound-reduction package with an STC rating of 33. They are made in Texas with the Texas climate in mind. I'm genuinely happy with my experience and with the final result. Not only were their prices reasonable, but the "bang for the buck" factor is off the charts. Very quick installation--part of one morning--reasonable payment terms, clean work site after the job. Good listeners, no pressure. We had 3 bedroom windows and a large bay window installed. The difference in heat and sound not getting in is amazing. With today's supply chain problems, we were told the windows would take 2 months to be ready. They were here in 3 WEEKS. Lots of follow up asking if we were satisfied. Yes. Two days ago, we had eight windows installed in our home by Guardian Windows. Words cannot express how impressed we are with the windows and more importantly the installation. We were pleased to have such highly skilled and experienced installers. Myself, I am an engineer by occupation, so I was more than just interested in the installation process. With eight large openings in my house, I was concerned not so much with the appearance but what cannot be seen. I was interested specifically in how the installation would address water, air leakage, and the impact to my interior trim. All my questions were not only addressed but they exceeded my expectations. During the installation the Guardian installers found numerous problems with my home. For every window the builder failed to properly attach the interior and exterior trim. Most of the builder window openings were not sealed properly and in several cases the builder windows were not securely nailed. The Guardian installers pointed out each of these problems and then explained how they would make the proper corrections. During the installation furniture in each room was moved as needed. Drop cloths with floor protection and plastic were used extensively throughout. After completing the work in each room, everything was returned as found and the room was vacuumed for added measure. Afterwards we found our home relatively dust free. To be clear there was some dust but considering all the work performed it was easily addressed. After the installation was completed, we were amazed by the fit and finish at each window. The measurement of the installation was so precise that no tile repair, painting, or drywall work was needed. We are so pleased with these eight windows that we immediately arranged for Guardian to have the remaining six windows in our home to be replaced. In closing, while these new windows look amazing, please consider what you don't see. That's where the real value is and peace of mind knowing the high-quality windows Guardian windows will be a lasting and sound investment in your home. read more

The owner, Marty comes across rude. He came to our house when it was to his convenience. Upon arrival he sat in his car for 30 mins past our apt time on the phone. When he got out to talk with us it was very rushed, pushy, and unprofessional. He was ready to make a sale and didn't care about our desire for the windows we wanted. He was basically telling us we only had one option. And it wasn't even a reasonably priced option. I'm so glad I didn't go with his services, because we ended up getting EXACTLY what we wanted from another company. My rating is simply for the customer service. read more

My home is 40 years old and still had the builder grade windows when I contacted Guardian to get an estimate to replace and upgrade 8 windows. I am blessed with a 1 story home and have no windows on the West side, but the noise levels have become unacceptable. I wanted lower utility bills, decreased traffic and drive-by "music" noises and the front part that faces the North to be warmer in the winter. I had done my Google homework and knew what I wanted in a window. The owner, Marty Scarpati, came out in person to demonstrate the windows and give me the estimate. His comparison of the quality and construction of lower cost windows to his moderately priced Simonton Vinyl windows blew me away. There was no contest in my mind as I wanted the best I could afford and I am well satisfied that is what was installed today. Due to circumstances beyond Guardian's control my start date changed drastically and that was no problem for Guardian. They worked with me without censor until I was able to green light my installation. The guys arrived at 6:30 A.M. and had all the work completed by 12:15 P.M. They covered everything with plastic and used drop cloths and cleaned up pretty well when they were done. I need replacement windows on my entire house, and I have contacted 2 other windows companies. Yesterday after googling I decided to call Guardian, and Marty answered the phone. To my amazement he was at my house within 1.5 hours to give me a quote. He quoted me double and single pane windows. He was a bit unhappy when I told him i was not making a decision at that moment. Marty said he hoped he could place my order with a couple of others before he went away for a week. Good line Marty, no way i could verify! This was a cash deal. I feel he had no right to get offended when i wasn't saying "yes" to a $11,000 deal he had just presented to me for the first time. He said he would not have come over here unless a deal was going to happen. He left abruptly. I went outside to my backyard as i was calling my husband about Marty's quote and behavior. All of a sudden, there is a knock from the "inside" of my backdoor. I was shocked as no one was in my home. I looked up and it was Marty. He walked in the front door of my house, and though my home to the backdoor. He said if you do the deal now, it will be $8,800.00. As I followed him back though the house to my front door, I told him "no". Think about what i fool i would have been if I said "yes" 10 minutes before, and spent $3,000 more!! The price changed rather rapidly wouldn't you agree! Talk about pushy, or may I say desperate as his behavior was completely unprofessional and obnoxious. If my husband had been home, he could have been injured. Beware, never say YES when you are spending thousands of dollars without doing all your homework. Guess Marty was having a bad day. Walking into anyone's home without their knowledge could be their last day. Marty, you should be ashamed of yourself. read more

Marty, the owner, has a no nonsense approach, didn't waste my time, got the point ,showed me the quality of the windows, provided some reference homes in the neighborhood , gave me a quote and let me decide. I made a great decision to go with them, the crew was amazing, Fernando, Harrison, Jim, Darrell and Matt treated my house as if it was theirs, they did a fantastic job, kept the work area in order and clean to them point you had no idea they had been there, accept for the fantastic new windows in the house. Great Experience! We had a freak accident where a tire came through one of the windows in the front of our house and destroyed the entire window, windowsill, and brick. We researched and contacted several options for a replacement but was not confident in making a decision. Our home is one story with huge beautiful windows and I really didn't think we could get a replacement to look good with the rest of the house. I certainly didn't want to replace all the windows to make it look right. We contacted Guardian and the owner Marty came to our house, showed us his recommendation for replacement based on the look and quality we needed. He helped us understand the windows we have in the house and how the replacement would look and function. We decided to not only replace our broken window but also all our east facing windows in order to reduce cooling costs from so much sunshine in the afternoon. Everything was installed and working within the timeline we were given and the workers were pleasant and finished promptly with no drama! I work from home and we have young children off for the summer. I was worried about the disruption and mess but experienced much less disruption than anticipated. The windows look amazing and matched the look of the other windows. I won't know the difference in our A/C bill yet but I certainly can tell the difference in the comfort level.
