It appears this process server has monopolized the Valley's process server entities because upon finding several negative and 1 star reviews for "Valleywide Process Service" I decided to look for another company to use. I came upon "Twenty Dollar Valley Wide Process Server" website. I called and spoke with a man who didn't identify himself. I shared my name and reason for the call. He enthusiastically, like a good snake oil salesperson, said he could start immediately with serving the Court papers and said the fee was $185. No questions from him about the situation. I began to share some details and he obviously wasn't paying attention as he repeated back erroneous info. I asked a couple questions of the process and that's when I began to realize he knew as little as I about the process. He finished with is $185 good? HUGE red flag! When you have someone tell you a price upfront but later ask you if it's ok you know they lack confidence. I offered $150 and he says "That's what I normally charge but we always state $185 first". I'm thinking, if you can't be honest with the price then how the hell do I know he's going to provide an honest service. He said send documents to fastserveaz at gmail & that's how I knew Valleywide Process Service has monopolized and manipulated the Valley's process server entities. I asked for his name; it was Jackson. His number 602-675-2333 read more

I don't normally go on Yelp to write reviews but need to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else. Heed the warnings of the other reviewers on this page. I went with them after talking to Tessa on 3/28 to confirm that they would be able to serve and also provide a proof of service or affidavit by 4/28 since the prices offered were great. It was a bit more expensive when it came to billing but I was fine with that as long as it could be done. No issues on the communication and the actual service since John was very knowledgeable throughout the process. The only issue was sending me the proof of service, which I followed up on for 2-3 weeks and almost daily up until my case with a huge emphasis on my timeline of 4/28, and the response every time was that they will send it shortly. Didn't receive the proof of service until Sunday night around 11PM right before the day of my case. I informed them that the document was received too late and that I will need to serve the defendant again and resubmit a proof of service since I have a new date that is 2-3 months out. I thought that I could use them again since they've already dealt with my situation already and all the paperwork would mostly be the same aside from the dates. I was even willing to pay them again but I have not even heard from them since and not even an acknowledgment of my email. Not worth the stress and hassle, stay away from this business at all costs. read more

This is the biggest scam of all times. I have filed a complaint with the courts. You will definitely see these same people and stories pop up when you talk with them. They never served the papers to the the tenant who I am evicting and of course never served those papers back to the courts. This is LITERALLY their job. Please see his Jack Cox's license and go after it. We need to get this POS out of business. When I called Fast Serve (or whatever they are calling their company now) on 06/14/2025, a woman answered and when I asked for Justin, who has served other documents for me in the past, I was told that Justin had embezzled money from the company and is no longer there. She also told me that she is the ex-wife of the owner. A guy name John then hopped on to the phone and told me that he doesn't own the company but they can still help me out. I told him I need simple process services and that I need this delivered ASAP. I reminded him to send me a copy that he filed with the courts. He said he would get out there on Monday, June 23, 2025 and would send me all of the documentation. When I didn't get a copy of this, I called him and he said he would text this over. I called him again on Tuesday, June 24th, 2025 and he said he would deliver to the courts and send me a copy as he was extremely busy. I kept on calling him with no answer and then my court date was here, Friday, June 20, 2025. The judge asked me where proof of this being served properly through a process server was, and I told her that it was served by John. They said they have no proof but if I can get proof of delivery by the end of the day that they would allow it (where I would win the court case). I called John 30 times and texted him as well, telling him the urgency of this and how I need that proof. I still haven't heard back from John. After calling another process server who also "happens" to be Justin, it forwards back to John's voicemail. When I look at the court list of approved servers, I see that John (Jack) Cox and Jr. is listed here. When I google them, it looks like they has set up multiple bogus companies that just lead back to the same phone # with the same voice mail. I believe that Justin, John (Jack) and John Jr. and everybody associated with all of his different companies are a ruse to steal money and never complete the job. I would like to file this format complaint, hoping that Jack (John) cox and John Cox Jr. lose their license, never to be able to scam other people. read more

Horrible. Paid them and they did no work! I paid over $650. John or Jack does not respond to emails, texts or calls after providing up front payment. Ghosted. STAY AWAY! read more

This company took my money, $650, and never even attempted to serve the other party and stopped responding to text, email or calls. Im filing both a police report and a report with the licensing board. read more

OMG This Company is So Bogus! I reached out to ValleyWide Process service because I needed to serve my ex-husband across jurisdiction for an upcoming family court appearance involving the Best Interest of my Kids. I spoke with Jackson who was very pleasant like the Serpent he is. He told me that he could have my ex husband served for $125. I sent the documents and money order and he called the very next day after receiving the items and stated that my ex-husband had been successfully served. I expressed the importance of receiving the Affidavit of Proof of Service to provide to court. He replied that he understood and reassured me that I would receive it. For the next month I begged and pleaded for the document. I have correspondence via email of him promising that he would get it to me by "Monday" which never came, ever. Then he says "Oh I thought we sent that out to you some time ago, let me check with my team... Then he Ghosted Me! No Replies, No Response! I went to court with only the email correspondence indicating that my ex- husband had been served, yet the Judge refused to accept it as valid proof and dismissed the case.... Totally Bummed! read more

Beware !!!! Our firm used this company to serve a subpoena. The minute they took our $250, they would not return our calls or emails and never provided affidavit of service. There is no evidence that the subpoena was ever served. read more

Update today. I did get a service affidavit. It was just 4 days after it was due in court. ASAP Service is legitimate in Mesa.

These guys are horrible as well as slow. Do not use these guys. They do not perform in a timely manner. My experience was horrible. They expressed they would provide me proof of service the day before the court date was scheduled. I have been waiting all day until 3:37pm and nothing, especially when the tenant was serves a week ago. They push everything to the last minute. Stay away from these guys not worth the stress! read more

To everybody in the state of Arizona never use this company. This is the worst process serving company in the VALLEY three weeks and they did nothing for me. They kept saying they get back to me with proof of service. They never did. They kept wanting more money, they could even go to the right address and they blame that on me when they had the correct address this is a case of a bunch of dummies that know nothing about this legal Organization. They should be ashamed that they're even in this organization to help people. I don't know how they sleep at night God bless anybody who tries this company all you're gonna do is lose your money. I already had to put a stop in my credit card 21 days no results now I have to re-file and they wanted more money and more money this is such a scam of a company. I will be doing more social media advertising about this company so nobody gets hurt like I did. read more

I had a horrible experience dealing with this process server. I have been dealing with them for 4months and I still have not have the papers served to the plaintiff. I was waiting on affidavit for so long that my court order expired. Then they stole my credit card number to use it on a gambling site. DO NOT USE THEM!!! read more

Snarky and utterly disrespectful when asking basic questions. When I pointed this out he states, "Well then we can just go ahead and cancels this. " Do not use these people. I am thinking its basically two stoners in a basement. If I could give lower than 1 start I would. read more

We paid $124. It's been over a week and not one attempt has been made. When you call it's confusion on the other end and the person that answers is rude. I would never refer anyone there nor will I ever use them again. Their advertising says $20 we will not be undersold. They said we will call you as soon as it is served. I've called three times and still no attempts. read more

TOTALLY IRRESPONSIBLE PROCESS SERVER. after two weeks i call them and they dont know anything, tell me they will contact the guy who is actually doing the service and get back to me, dont get back to me and I still dont know what happened read more

As a professional attorney, this is the worst process service company I have ever dealt with. Sadly, I needed to use them in a pinch, as my regular company was unable to help during a pandemic. These folks lied about the service they would provide, screamed insults when I asked them to keep their promise, and still turned in one of the sloppiest jobs I've ever seen. I've never worked with a process server that was so simply unprofessional, and I will never use them again under any circumstance. read more

I hired Valleywide Process Service based on a referral from a friend. I called them at the end of business hours, and they were still available for same day service. The server was assertive and got the job done on a hard-to-serve person. They also filed service with the court. I am grateful for their professionalism and follow through. Highly recommend! read more

This place is a RIP off... worst service ever. STAY AWAY from this place at all cost.... These people are worse than bad. It's a shame Yelp doesn't allow for negative stars. They even took their sweet time in delivering their cheesy statement of I cant deliver it court doc, then send a blank email, without info. Someone take their business license away, today I'm filing a Better Business Bureau complaint. read more

I just used this company today to have someone served. They were able to do everything via email and phone and then had their process server out there within 45 minutes and served the person despite this person doing everything in her power to avoid service. Jackson was the process server and he called me right after and gave me all the details on how it went, what to do in the event I have more problems with this person and details on the affidavit he would be filing with the court. Very happy with this service. read more

Very bad service. My spouse was served on June 26 and today is July 13, still nothing filed with the courts. I checked with the court and they are not that backlogged. Valleywide said the court is behind due to COVID. They also kept saying they has 7 -10 days. This has been a nightmare. Choose someone else. Not worth the stress and hassle. Customer service can be rude as well. read more

This has to be the most unprofessional processing service I have ever had to deal with. If you need someone served quickly this is not the company that use. I'm going to hire another processing service just to pick up their slack. it's going on 2 weeks to have somebody on a basic schedule get served and they can't get it done. they also cannot give you any information on how many times that they have attempted to serve but just that they are attempting. For everyday this person does not get served I lose another day without my child this company does not seem to care. I will never use this company or refer them to anyone. Spend your money else where. I would give them no Stars if I could. read more

I hate to have to review on this as these things are sort of private but whatever. We used these guys about a year ago. Having papers served is pretty private matter for most, but I'll review on it anyways. They are not $20 for one thing, more like $75 and up. Also, they constantly hounded me for payment even after my check was cashed. Hounded in a thug sort of way. It took a lot of explaining and I had to mail them the cancelled check for them to understand I had paid them which was a little ridiculous. However, they did get the paper served. read more

I was quoted $50 last week to serve one man two sets of papers (unlimited attempts). The company and the registered agent for the company are the same person. I knew he would be evasive, and lie about his identity, so I recommended that the process server call as a potential customer, and have the individual come out to provide a quote for his mobile paint service. The secretary said that the process servers normally prefer to go to the door (not a good sign when this wasn't necessary). The individual was served last week by a man named Jackson. Because the individual refused to identify himself properly, the server was not able to complete service on the LLC. Jackson called me and told me that he would not be returning to serve the LLC. I called the company on Friday to complain, and was told that the owner would call me back. I called again, and rather than put me in touch with the owner, they put me on the phone with Jackson, who I specifically requested NOT to talk to. Jackson then proceeded to tell me he was the owner (a lie according to State Filings), and that it would cost me another $100 to have the LLC served. Jackson then called back and said that they hadn't filed any papers with the Court and wanted to issue me a refund, but needed my credit card again. I told him that I didn't feel comfortable providing it again based on the experience, and would file a charge back with my credit card company. The owner of this company never became involved as I requested, and I believe this is a bait and switch operation. They advertise $20, charge $50, and when the job isn't complete, ask for another $100. Use at your own risk. read more

This organization is a complete joke. It is not $20, it is $50 or more, which honestly did not really bother me. But, after almost two weeks they had not made one attempt. They don't call you, they don't follow up with you...nothing. Every time I called they asked for my name, the paper being filed and my phone number and would say "we'll call you back with an update". They NEVER do call you back. Every time I called they acted like it was the first complaint and gave me the same run-around. Do not use these guys. They are sloppy, unprofessional and the only thing they can say is "I don't know what your status is as the server has your file". read more

WORST service i have ever had in my life. I have used several servers before and this was a terrible experience. I gave then dates times and pictures of the person and tons of detail to make this an easy job. After 2 weeks and about 10 phone calls never returned I finally got a new person on the phone and screamed because court was the following day. They finally decided to serve the person a day before court. AND they never filled the papers with the court to this day - DO NOT USE oh and it was not $20 try $60 read more

I'm not sure what location I did business with, but I'd like to write a positive review for this business in general. My boyfriend's divorce was awful, and the custody battle has begun. He had to file paperwork to keep his ex from illegally removing his kids from the state, so we hurriedly did the relevant paperwork. I pretty much called these folks because they were the first process server I found, and they were able to serve the papers on his ex without a very long wait at all. They've apparently been in business for around 20 years, so they're good at catching people. Also, every time I called to check on progress, the person who answered the phone was helpful and informative. They don't charge a ton, either; their prices are comparable with other process servers. The only ding is this: the papers were served on Monday, and I still don't have a proof or affidavit of service. Having never had to call a process server before, I'm not sure how long that's all supposed to take, so for all I know they're still within reasonable turnaround time. Overall, I'd say this company provided me with great service, and I'd call them again and recommend them to others. read more

Hired these guys to serve a civil suit and paid for 4 attempts. They literally used a gate at an apartment complex for their excuse of why they couldn't serve the documents. They left me a message stating the party was dodging service and they would file the appropriate paperwork with the courts to prove this. Since the party responded to the service, we assumed this was done. When we appeared in court, we learned this was NOT done and were accused in proceedings of failing to follow proper service notice. They have not returned phone calls and I have not been able to get my money refunded for a service they did NOT provide! Also, it was not $20, I paid $50. read more

What a rip! I told them I thought that was misleading and false advertising and hung up. I found a process server who did the job for $50. read more

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. First of all it took them over a week to serve my documents (if they even did it) and they only actually did it once I threatened to go with another service. Then after that they never sent the proof of service to court despite me calling THREE TIMES and asking them to send the documents. I ended up having to drive 40 minutes out of my way to bring the papers to the court myself, absolutely unacceptable. I chose this place because of the online reviews which now I'm convinced we're all done by the actual employees and their family members because this has been the worst experience possible. I would never recommend this service to anyone at all. I wish I had known what a scam this was before I wasted my money. If you want a good process server go with Law GRRL at +1 (602) 317-2175. She always answered my calls and my questions when these idiots were too busy wasting my hard earned money on god knows what. Don't waste your money. These people are a scam. read more

Horrible Choice to make when it comes to speed, efficiency, and communication, which is what you need to serve important papers to someone. They told me my family law papers would be served the next day so I paid and got no phone calls at the end of the day as promised, the BITCH on the phone called me a liar and copped a lot of attitude over the phone. 3 DAYS LATER THEY STILL DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW MANY ATTEMPTS HAVE BEEN MADE!!!!!!! You will feel like a sucker if you go with these ASSHOLES. Please, do yourself a favor and search for a REAL process serving company WITH better rates. NO $20 SERVING! BS! BS! BS! BS! BS! BS! BS! BS! This company used to provide great service. No more. They took my money, promised quick service and then sit on it, refusing to serve my documents telling me it's not convenient for them yet. This company is unprofessional and will not return calls even when they promise they will.
