It appears this process server has monopolized the Valley's process server entities because upon finding several negative and 1 star reviews for "Valleywide Process Service" I decided to look for another company to use. I came upon "Twenty Dollar Valley Wide Process Server" website. I called and spoke with a man who didn't identify himself. I shared my name and reason for the call. He enthusiastically, like a good snake oil salesperson, said he could start immediately with serving the Court papers and said the fee was $185. No questions from him about the situation. I began to share some details and he obviously wasn't paying attention as he repeated back erroneous info. I asked a couple questions of the process and that's when I began to realize he knew as little as I about the process. He finished with is $185 good? HUGE red flag! When you have someone tell you a price upfront but later ask you if it's ok you know they lack confidence. I offered $150 and he says "That's what I normally charge but we always state $185 first". I'm thinking, if you can't be honest with the price then how the hell do I know he's going to provide an honest service. I don't normally go on Yelp to write reviews but need to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else. Heed the warnings of the other reviewers on this page. I went with them after talking to Tessa on 3/28 to confirm that they would be able to serve and also provide a proof of service or affidavit by 4/28 since the prices offered were great. It was a bit more expensive when it came to billing but I was fine with that as long as it could be done. No issues on the communication and the actual service since John was very knowledgeable throughout the process. The only issue was sending me the proof of service, which I followed up on for 2-3 weeks and almost daily up until my case with a huge emphasis on my timeline of 4/28, and the response every time was that they will send it shortly. Didn't receive the proof of service until Sunday night around 11PM right before the day of my case. I informed them that the document was received too late and that I will need to serve the defendant again and resubmit a proof of service since I have a new date that is 2-3 months out. I thought that I could use them again since they've already dealt with my situation already and all the paperwork would mostly be the same aside from the dates. I was even willing to pay them again but I have not even heard from them since and not even an acknowledgment of my email. This is the biggest scam of all times. I have filed a complaint with the courts. You will definitely see these same people and stories pop up when you talk with them. They never served the papers to the the tenant who I am evicting and of course never served those papers back to the courts. This is LITERALLY their job. Please see his Jack Cox's license and go after it. We need to get this POS out of business. When I called Fast Serve (or whatever they are calling their company now) on 06/14/2025, a woman answered and when I asked for Justin, who has served other documents for me in the past, I was told that Justin had embezzled money from the company and is no longer there. She also told me that she is the ex-wife of the owner. A guy name John then hopped on to the phone and told me that he doesn't own the company but they can still help me out. I told him I need simple process services and that I need this delivered ASAP. I reminded him to send me a copy that he filed with the courts. He said he would get out there on Monday, June 23, 2025 and would send me all of the documentation. When I didn't get a copy of this, I called him and he said he would text this over. I called him again on Tuesday, June 24th, 2025 and he said he would deliver to the courts and send me a copy as he was extremely busy. I kept on calling him with no answer and then my court date was here, Friday, June 20, 2025. The judge asked me where proof of this being served properly through a process server was, and I told her that it was served by John. They said they have no proof but if I can get proof of delivery by the end of the day that they would allow it (where I would win the court case). I called John 30 times and texted him as well, telling him the urgency of this and how I need that proof. I still haven't heard back from John. After calling another process server who also "happens" to be Justin, it forwards back to John's voicemail. When I look at the court list of approved servers, I see that John (Jack) Cox and Jr. is listed here. When I google them, it looks like they has set up multiple bogus companies that just lead back to the same phone # with the same voice mail. I believe that Justin, John (Jack) and John Jr. and everybody associated with all of his different companies are a ruse to steal money and never complete the job. I would like to file this format complaint, hoping that Jack (John) cox and John Cox Jr. lose their license, never to be able to scam other people. read more

OMG This Company is So Bogus! I reached out to ValleyWide Process service because I needed to serve my ex-husband across jurisdiction for an upcoming family court appearance involving the Best Interest of my Kids. I spoke with Jackson who was very pleasant like the Serpent he is. He told me that he could have my ex husband served for $125. I sent the documents and money order and he called the very next day after receiving the items and stated that my ex-husband had been successfully served. I expressed the importance of receiving the Affidavit of Proof of Service to provide to court. He replied that he understood and reassured me that I would receive it. For the next month I begged and pleaded for the document. I have correspondence via email of him promising that he would get it to me by "Monday" which never came, ever. Then he says "Oh I thought we sent that out to you some time ago, let me check with my team... Then he Ghosted Me! No Replies, No Response! I went to court with only the email correspondence indicating that my ex- husband had been served, yet the Judge refused to accept it as valid proof and dismissed the case.... These guys are horrible as well as slow. Do not use these guys. They do not perform in a timely manner. My experience was horrible. They expressed they would provide me proof of service the day before the court date was scheduled. I have been waiting all day until 3:37pm and nothing, especially when the tenant was serves a week ago. They push everything to the last minute. They kept saying they get back to me with proof of service. They never did. They kept wanting more money, they could even go to the right address and they blame that on me when they had the correct address this is a case of a bunch of dummies that know nothing about this legal Organization. The server was assertive and got the job done on a hard-to-serve person. They also filed service with the court. I am grateful for their professionalism and follow through. I just used this company today to have someone served. They were able to do everything via email and phone and then had their process server out there within 45 minutes and served the person despite this person doing everything in her power to avoid service. Jackson was the process server and he called me right after and gave me all the details on how it went, what to do in the event I have more problems with this person and details on the affidavit he would be filing with the court. Very bad service. My spouse was served on June 26 and today is July 13, still nothing filed with the courts. I checked with the court and they are not that backlogged. Valleywide said the court is behind due to COVID. They also kept saying they has 7 -10 days. This has been a nightmare. Choose someone else. Not worth the stress and hassle. This has to be the most unprofessional processing service I have ever had to deal with. If you need someone served quickly this is not the company that use. I'm going to hire another processing service just to pick up their slack. it's going on 2 weeks to have somebody on a basic schedule get served and they can't get it done. they also cannot give you any information on how many times that they have attempted to serve but just that they are attempting. I hate to have to review on this as these things are sort of private but whatever. We used these guys about a year ago. Having papers served is pretty private matter for most, but I'll review on it anyways. They are not $20 for one thing, more like $75 and up. Also, they constantly hounded me for payment even after my check was cashed. Hounded in a thug sort of way. I was quoted $50 last week to serve one man two sets of papers (unlimited attempts). The company and the registered agent for the company are the same person. I knew he would be evasive, and lie about his identity, so I recommended that the process server call as a potential customer, and have the individual come out to provide a quote for his mobile paint service. The secretary said that the process servers normally prefer to go to the door (not a good sign when this wasn't necessary). The individual was served last week by a man named Jackson. Because the individual refused to identify himself properly, the server was not able to complete service on the LLC. Jackson called me and told me that he would not be returning to serve the LLC. I called the company on Friday to complain, and was told that the owner would call me back. I called again, and rather than put me in touch with the owner, they put me on the phone with Jackson, who I specifically requested NOT to talk to. Jackson then proceeded to tell me he was the owner (a lie according to State Filings), and that it would cost me another $100 to have the LLC served. Jackson then called back and said that they hadn't filed any papers with the Court and wanted to issue me a refund, but needed my credit card again. I told him that I didn't feel comfortable providing it again based on the experience, and would file a charge back with my credit card company. The owner of this company never became involved as I requested, and I believe this is a bait and switch operation. They advertise $20, charge $50, and when the job isn't complete, ask for another $100. Use at your own risk. read more

This organization is a complete joke. It is not $20, it is $50 or more, which honestly did not really bother me. But, after almost two weeks they had not made one attempt. They don't call you, they don't follow up with you...nothing. Every time I called they asked for my name, the paper being filed and my phone number and would say "we'll call you back with an update". I gave then dates times and pictures of the person and tons of detail to make this an easy job. After 2 weeks and about 10 phone calls never returned I finally got a new person on the phone and screamed because court was the following day. Hired these guys to serve a civil suit and paid for 4 attempts. They literally used a gate at an apartment complex for their excuse of why they couldn't serve the documents. I'm not sure what location I did business with, but I'd like to write a positive review for this business in general. My boyfriend's divorce was awful, and the custody battle has begun. He had to file paperwork to keep his ex from illegally removing his kids from the state, so we hurriedly did the relevant paperwork. I pretty much called these folks because they were the first process server I found, and they were able to serve the papers on his ex without a very long wait at all. They've apparently been in business for around 20 years, so they're good at catching people. Also, every time I called to check on progress, the person who answered the phone was helpful and informative. They don't charge a ton, either; their prices are comparable with other process servers. The only ding is this: the papers were served on Monday, and I still don't have a proof or affidavit of service. Having never had to call a process server before, I'm not sure how long that's all supposed to take, so for all I know they're still within reasonable turnaround time. Overall, I'd say this company provided me with great service, and I'd call them again and recommend them to others. read more

Since the party responded to the service, we assumed this was done. When we appeared in court, we learned this was NOT done and were accused in proceedings of failing to follow proper service notice. Then after that they never sent the proof of service to court despite me calling THREE TIMES and asking them to send the documents. I ended up having to drive 40 minutes out of my way to bring the papers to the court myself, absolutely unacceptable. I chose this place because of the online reviews which now I'm convinced we're all done by the actual employees and their family members because this has been the worst experience possible. But when I called them, they said it would be $75 even though our tenant was right down the street from them. When I asked about the $20, they said that was just their name, not their price. There were a couple of times I called back to follow up after a voice mail and the other person was confused as to why I was calling and then took a little to find my case to understand where I was at. The seem very disorganized and my client may have to now reset her hearing because documents have yet to be confirmed served. No one can give you an answer as they say they have to "check with the process server". The process server must be on vacation as it has been over 1 week and I still have no answer.
