I hired them to serve someone and the business she owned. Sean did fine trying to get them served, going to four different places without success. After that he became elusive. I needed to file a motion with the court to get her served in another way, and I could not get him to fill out the paperwork to say he could not serve them and I could not get my court documents back. The website says open till 8pm, they are not open till 8pm. I paid someone to take me across town, get there at 7pm no one there. I call they say oh no we all leave at 5pm. Next day take lyft ($26) get there at 4:30pm no one there. I call they say everyone left already. I told you to call back after 9am. First of all 4:30pm is after 9am. Second some of have jobs that we actually do work at while we are at work. Some people are not allowed to have phones while we are at work. To top it off they are very rude. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. I needed to get my ex-husband served and seen this company on-line. I read the reviews and was comfortable with what they said. I contacted them and the phone call was smooth and pleasant...not to mention that $99.00 dollars for 4 attempts was a great deal. It went down hill quickly after that and my experience ended in gettting a portion of my money refunded. It is all done through text message and half of the time they sent me the wrong case information. The rest of the time they had excuse after excuse and the papers where never served. I continue searching for a reliable process server and with such a terrible experience with this one,I am weary of them all. I hope that you obtain better service and that they dont give you the run around like they did me. I am sharing my experience because a business who has a 5 star rating on YELP should back it up with first class service to all their paying customers, including a single mother with young children on a stretched budget. Ms. Monica (Fields) was absolutely amazing!!! I have used her on 2 separate occasions. She followed through with both extremely well!! She did her due diligence on both. The second time, I was present, I wanted to see her in action. She quickly walked up to the served party, asked a few identity questions, stated that they were served and was done. She is a great service and I know if I need anything served that she will be the one to do it. I do want to mention that other process servers charge extra for multiple locations, but she is extremely reasonable. I asked her to swing by a few "known" locations and she had absolutely no problem doing so without giving me a hard time. This was the main reason that I insist on using her. She took the complexity out of this process. She is very reasonably priced (about $70 a serve). Granted, I live in her area of service, but even so, she attempted to serve/served with little to no hassle, questions, problems, etc. Definitely recommend this process server!! She is excellent in the two times that I have had hired her to deliver. Either way, she will give you excellent documentation (either Affidavit of Non-Service or Service). Fields Legal Services is terrible!!!! Do not use at any cost!!!! I'm a landlord and needed to have a tenant served for an eviction proceeding. Fields Legal Services took my money and then completely ghosted me. Tenant did not get served and I had to start the entire process over, costing me more money and time. After they missed the court date I requested a refund, miraculously I got response (text) in which they apologized and agreed to refund my money......big surprise here, but that didn't happen either. Just called the cc company and cancelled the payment. Will be filing a complaint with the court to have their license suspended/revoked. Do Not Use, completely unprofessional.
