I came to Yelp looking for legitimate legal services and submitted my information believing I was contacting a legal services provider. Maria contacted me almost immediately and told me she could provide the services I was requesting. I paid $436 upfront, which I now regret doing. The very next day, I contacted her to cancel my request. She told me the work had already been completed, even though it was a process I understood would normally take at least a couple of days. When I asked her to email me the completed forms, she instead sent me a blank form--and it wasn't even the correct form for what I had requested. I then asked for a partial refund. She agreed to provide one, but I never received it. I'm sharing my experience so others can be cautious, ask exactly who they are dealing with and what services are being provided, and verify everything before paying upfront. Be careful with Maria. In my case, she prepared my motion for contempt unprofessionally, without details, just a few sentences. There were also many mistakes. The court will not accept such a motion! I don't know where these positive reviews about her come from, it's weird. When I asked for a refund, Maria didn't respond, she asked me to call her, but I don't even want to talk to her. I had a very disappointing experience with this paralegal service. I provided a complete, organized packet of documents that simply needed to be filed with the court. Instead, the documents were returned to me disorganized, with missing pages and additional copies mixed in. When I later checked the court's electronic record, it became clear that many of the documents were never submitted at all. The night before the filing, I received a phone call from the paralegal stating that my paperwork had accidentally been shredded, only for her to say later that night that it had been "found." That alone was extremely concerning given that these were important legal documents related to my case. Because the filing was not handled correctly, I now have to spend additional time and money working with an attorney to correct the errors and resubmit documents that should have been filed properly the first time. There is also a strong possibility that the paperwork submitted to the sheriff for service was incomplete as well, which may require service to be redone. The level of disorganization and lack of professionalism here put my case at risk and created unnecessary stress, delays, and expense. Based on my experience, the handling of my documents demonstrated a serious lack of competence and attention to detail that is concerning for anyone working with legal filings. I paid for a straightforward filing service and instead received work that appears careless and incomplete. Quick response but mopped floors left sticky and owner seemingly tried to pitch paralegal services which was weird to me.

Created a move out cleaning on 8/27, carpet cleaning and oven cleaning for a 4-bedroom 3 bath home. Maria came out on 8/28 and sent aprx. 20 pics of before photos. I couldn't be at the home at the time of their arrival. At the end of the day I was told that they didn't get to do the carpet cleaning and would need to come back on Friday 8/29. I rec'd a call from Maria at almost 1pm letting me know they have completed the job and could I give 5 stars, I explained that I hadn't even seen the house yet. I went to the home on Saturday 8/30 and was a bit taken back and did reach out to Maria in the evening explaining how unsatisfied I was and she did explain that they cleaned extremely in which I have pictures that she sent of before and after and one shows urine before and after on the toilet seat of one of the bathrooms, she stated she didn't know what happened. She stated that nothing is ever perfect and asked what she can do. She stated that she sent many pictures of all they did and said it was done well and that they cleaned everything. The home wasn't totally cleaned, we had to go back in on Tuesday to clean cabinets, floors and two tubs and a shower that was supposed to be cleaned, we spent almost two hours cleaning what I hired her to do. I sent her the pictures of everything I had to clean and the things she stated they cleaned. She proceeded to tell me that the house was cleaned a week ago, which wasn't correct but besides that I asked for some of my money back because paying $520 I shouldn't have had to go back and clean anything. After I sent the pictures, she asked why I sent them on that day and stated that they will try to fix the issues. The problem with that was we had already cleaned what they said they did and again this was a move out and the keys were returned. I recently had an unfortunate experience with a Marias Help, whom I cannot say that helped one bit, nor would I ever recommend. After paying $500 ( Up Front) for her services to draft a response for superior court filing, it turned out that the format she utilized was incorrect. She lacked the professionalism to inform me that such filings must be done by an officially representing lawyer for a business for this type of filing, She should know this, We hired her to know this- Not to exploit our situation to make a quick $500. Her guidance led to our document being flagged as deficient upon e-filing. When we reached out for clarification, she blamed the court rather than acknowledging any error on her part. Her claimed background of working in a court office is questionable given her apparent incompetence and arrogance. In requesting a refund for the mishandled service, not only was I met with refusal, but she also threatened legal action against me for defamation. This overreaction further highlights her lack of professionalism. Instead of attempting to resolve the issue or even offering a partial refund, she resorted to gaslighting and accusations. I run multiple business, we usually never right a bad review- we understand business are dealt a number of disadvantages when it comes to working with the general paying public. But her behavior was egregious, unacceptable as a so called professional. She must need that $500 more then we do. I believe your repetition should have more value then that. I would strongly advise steering clear of this uninformed and misguided paperwork filer, as my experience has led me to believe she is neither capable nor willing to do the right thing when faced with a mistake. You want this review down, refund a significant portion of our money back. Make this right. read more

Did ok job on selected areas but missed areas & complained the whole time about how dirty it was. Did not bring a vacuum & only had a mop for kitchen floor but said she usually didn't bring it. The new employee worked the hardest on the areas she did. Left after two hours. Other services charged by the hour & should have gone with them & paid the same for 4 hours. read more

I hired Maria to prepare my motion for contempt two weeks ago,the only part that went smooth was beginning before I payed 400 dollars for her service!After I payed it's been told to me to send all the documentation so she can start what I did immediately!She said it will take her Hal day to finish the project and it will be done within three days!I was ok with the time frame and understood that we are close to holidays so didn't really bother with few days more to wait!She never reached back to me so I waited for weekend to be over and contacted her on Monday 5 days later!She had no idea who am I and why I am calling,this repeated 3-4 times,she did not touch my documents,once she was messaging me in Spanish thinking I am who knows what person,once she asked me if I am for child support or whatever,finally we got on the phone so she said ok I will do it now and while on the phone literally did everything in one minute and 37 seconds!I was shocked and asked her if she is sure that it is done properly cause there is no way this can be done like that,she started yelling at me and not allowing me to say a word she hang up on me!She even called me names!She was than trying to convince me that the document is ready and I told her that if the document is not prepared legally correct I want my money back and I don't want the document cause if I send the document just like that court will just deny it and that was my main reason to pay a person who is licensed to do it!She was focused so much on my money that she even for a second tried to solve the problem,she was just determined to keep my 400 dollars!From a personal standpoint I think it's really sad that people are so much money driven and I would definitely not recommend this person to anyone!I also have a legal concern about her work which I will report to Arizona State Bar and Arizona Attorney General for further investigation! read more
