I rarely write negative reviews on social media, but this matter is so egregious that I feel compelled to speak out. I know Gary will likely respond to this with excuses, just as he did throughout our communication, but the facts remain the same. I am very disappointed with the service I received from Gary.After accepting the assignment and receiving payment and all the necessary documents, there was virtually no communication. I received no status updates unless I reached out first, which is not the level of professionalism I expect from a paid process server.After the unsuccessful service attempt, I suggested an alternative way to proceed, but my message was completely ignored. When I later requested the Proof of Non-Service, I again had to follow up multiple times. Gary only responded after I expressed my dissatisfaction and said he would send the document the following day. Several days have now passed, and I still have not received it. For anyone considering working with him, make sure all communication is in writing. Do not rely on phone calls, as you will have no evidence if a dispute arises later. This lack of communication, repeated delays, and failure to provide the required documentation have unnecessarily delayed my case.I hired this service expecting timely communication and professional follow-through. Instead, I have had to repeatedly chase the process server for basic updates and documentation. Ultimately, this service has proven to be completely unreliable and unprofessional. T. Scott Legal promptly got the job done, but failed to notify me the defendant was served. It was only after I inquired that I learned the person was served my time sensitive court docs days earlier. Communication was below avg all around. This was my first time using a process server and I received little information about the process and next steps. *** Update, in response to owner below*** If he called me and I didn't answer, why did he not leave a message, send a text or email?? I got nothing! I have all of the email communication and it doesn't lie. It shows I emailed him for an update at the end of busn on a Tues. He replied he served the person on Sunday (with no explanation or apology for the delay!) That's 2 busn days I waited. And I had to reach out to him. That's not great customer service. The same emails also show how in the dark I was about the process. Emails show me asking very basic questions about the process and getting very short answers. And no, there was no detailed explanation of anything at the beginning. The long response from the owner only contains irrelevant information in his failed attempt to make it look like he's providing some great defense. It's crazy how some people can't take responsibility for anything. read more

This was my first experience going through the serving process. I found Gary from the Thumbtack app (T Scott Legal Support Services). I have been looking for a server processor for a while. Gary was very fast and responded to my inquiry immediately. He was very knowledgeable and explained the process as well as answered all of my questions. FIRST TIME I have ever had to hire a process server, and I was very apprehensive. Gary was the first person I reached out to, and I struck lucky! Arrogant thief who does not understand the legal process I found Gary Steiner on Thumbtack who messaged me to call him directly. Then we spoke very briefly and he texted me where to Zelle the money for Service of Process. I emailed him everything and paid him and didn't hear back for three days. I then got a voicemail saying he googled the address I gave him and the business was closed. I called him back to explain Google isn't always accurate. Also, it's a virtual office shared by a dozen professionals with a receptionist there. I further explained I needed him to attempt service at the address like I paid and asked for and if he could not, then I would need an affidavit from him saying that in fact, the business is closed and no longer at that address. He refused and said he "can't" go there knowing it's closed. The lawyers address listed on the corporation's commission, the company website, Facebook and every inch of the Internet has the exact same address. Legally, I am told I have to attempt service at that address. Attempt means that you physically go there and attempt to serve the documents. I'm five hours away and I cannot go verify this address hence I hired this man who is 7 miles away and paid him $75 but what I got was an I can't. And I told him "I can't" and "I won't" are two different things. He didn't WANT to do it because he THOUGHT the address was wrong. $75 is a lot of money to drive down the street and write me an affidavit if he cannot serve the papers. It's a very simple task that I was asking of him so that I could proceed with alternate service according to the law and court rules. I began telling him what my lawyer explained, and he cut me off and refused to listen because he wanted to talk over me to explain why he would not do what I was asking. If he's going to be in this field, he should know a little something about the law in Arizona. If he chose not to do it because he didn't feel like he could give me my money back and stop arguing with me, but instead continue to speak down to me like I was an idiot, even though I've been working with a lawyer, who is obviously far more clear on the law than either of us are. I will follow the advice of my lawyer, and not some guy off the Internet, who sounds like a used car salesman and proceeded to steal my money. I am not going to take the word of a man without a legal degree when it comes to the legal process. Proper proof of non-service or inability to serve the documents is just as important and required by the court. Legally, not wanting to drive to the address and try does not count as an attempt and can cause my case to be thrown out and have to be re-started. All Gary did was steal my money and waste my time and refused to attempt service. And of course asked for payment through Zelle, knowing I can't get mt money back. The Arizona court does not accept, "Google says the office is closed "as an attempt of service. I'm a single woman who works seven days a week to put a roof over my head and food on the table and this was a writ of wage garnishment to try to recover $15,000 I am owed from another party. So it is extra upsetting for someone to steal $75 knowing I need it. And to this day I haven't received the money back and apology or anything. I would honestly recommend staying far away from this arrogant thief. read more
