If I could give zero star I would. Wish I would have checked yelp first. These people tried to serve my small claims suit one time - not the three attempts I was told when i paid for the "service." The service person was told a lie by the person they were supposed to be serving and then filed court papers based on the lie, which caused me more work and court visits. I thought I was hiring professionals who would know when someone was lying to their face. Wouldn't they have experience knowing people who are expecting a lawsuit service would lie about who they were??? This company does NOT provide good service. Huge waste of time & money!! read more

This company was the absolute worst!!! The woman on the phone was so kind and understanding until they received my $75 payment. After they had my money she became extremely rude and combative! They refused to work with me! They refused to communicate on the smallest level! There was no attempt to serve the restraining order i took out on my roommate! Leaving me in an unsafe and tense home! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I was referred to them and 1st used them to serve my ex with mediation papers... they left the paperwork on the door which is not the same as being served. I could have done this!? Anyway, it worked out and in the spirit of second chances I used them again for my parent modification paperwork to be served and they waited 7 days to even attempt to serve them? I have now fired them and getting my $40 that they offered to do this for refunded back and I just paid another process server $75 because I need this done by tomorrow no thanks to Valleywide dragging there feet on this! I ONLY give this place 1 star because I had to! DO NOT use this place EVER! It has been 3 weeks since I hand delivered my family court papers to have them served! After 5 phone calls and being promised phone calls back (NEVER GOT A SINGLE CALL BACK), I called and refused to end the call until they got me an answer! Nobody there has any clue about what is going on! HORRIBLE experience! Court is 10 days away!!! After being in the phone demanding answers I finally was angry enough to hang up on these clueless and unprofessional people! I spoke with a woman on a Wednesday and she said there were about to close so I sent my papers to her that night and she called me the next morning and I paid her. An entire week had passed by so I decided to give them a call to see what's going on the lady couldn't even tell me when my person was going to be served! they just said they normally served someone three days later. So then they called me telling me that they can't serve that person because the address doesn't take process servers so they just wanted to charge me double to give the papers to a legal building so then I said fine I'm done with you guys I don't even want to deal so I called another process server & they said that's not even possible! they don't just leave documents at another building they have to give it to the person total scam artists and lazy and incompetent do not give these people your money!! read more

They were immediately available. As soon as I left the court house, I was able to meet Valleywide Process Service directly, and place my files right into in their hands. They wasted no time in serving the paper. They called my cellphone and let me know that the papers where served. They then sent me an email with a scan of the Declaration of Service. From all of the process servers that I've used, they by far provided the best communication and feed back. Not only do I recommend them, but I will use them again if the need ever arises. read more

At a t time sensitive issue, employee "guaranteed" proper service of legal documents which had to be done on specific time and date. They arrived 5 1/2 hours later and of course could not serve the papers. I was heading out of state and they knew of the circumstances and promised they would do what they guaranteed. There was a break down of communication and the owner stated he did now know the time - even thoug it was clearly stated on the forms. I would never trust them with timely documents ever again... They advertise $20 and charged $60! read more

I called inquiring about the cost of serving modification of child support. I was told it would be $30. with 3-5 attempts and fax it to them. I called them after the fax was sent only to told $75. I negotiated to $60, still twice the price. They made 1 attempt then closed the service. Seriously disappointed and still need to serve papers. read more

I have used Valley Wide several times for both personal and business related legal issues. They are hands down, unequivocally amazing. Not only do they do their job the best that they can, they are helpful and friendly. Obviously, I have needed documents delivered to someone...and valley wide attempted to do it for me. The person, of course, did not want the documents and valley wide has provided me friendly and helpful guidance on how to move through the process. It is rare today to find a company that provides good service and has the right customer service attitude at a reasonable rate. I dont remember the name of the woman who helps me when I call, but she is fantastic! She is the definition of what it means to be customer service oriented. Going through legal issues is never fun, but dealing with people like her sure makes it A LOT easier! Thank you valley wide! PS- After reading some other reviews it is very apparent to me that a lot of people do not know that ValleyWide is not a legal advice team. They are there to deliver documents to people. Thats it. If the people they deliver to dont respond, or you dont know how the court system works, that is not valleywides fault. Their rates are reasonable. Remember, good service isnt cheap and cheap service isnt good. Valleywide will ALWAYS be my first choice for this type of service read more

Overall the court system is a horrible experience and the Process server doesn't make it any easier. Some of the issues I had : They call you asking you to meet up earlier than the scheduled time and then when the person who you are serving isn't there but shows up at the scheduled time they want then charge you an additional $100 fee for waiting around till the scheduled time. Give you the run around of when it will be submitted to the courts and get verification. A detailed story of my situation: Had to serve family court documents to petition for primary custodial rights and a temp order. I knew my son's mother was going to avoid being served so requested a date to meet the process server at a scheduled time. The scheduled time was at 6 pm, the process server called at 5:10 to see if we could do it any earlier, which I said I wasn't sure if she would be home but we can try knocking on the door at 5:35 since I was close by the location and didn't know how might be traffic. Long story short she wasn't home and she wouldn't get home till the scheduled time of 6 pm, he then said since we might earlier, that there is only a 15-minute window in which he would have to charge $100.00 more to wait around to the scheduled time!!!! Kinda messed up when the process server calls you and asks if we can try to serve a little earlier but if it doesn't happen I have to pay more for him to wait around to the ORIGINAL SCHEDULE TIME? Then getting the documentation submitted to the court was extreme pain, thinking that paying a total of $225.00 that they would submit it within a few days of serving her. The date was 6/26 when she was served and now it's 7/12. They give you the run around each week stating they are waiting for the signature from the process server and don't worry it is going to happen. Not too reassuring when you get the same response each week. I would do your research and find a reputable company, with decent reviews. I didn't do my research and I am at their mercy. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I sent an affidavit to be served on January 22. They company did not even attempt service until January 26. Valley Wide also claimed they would attempt service 5 times over a 10 day period. That would make their deadline for all five attempts February 1. They did not even make a second attempt until February 4 and the fifth and final attempt was not until February 25, over a month later. After stating they were unable to serve my affidavit (I had to call to find this out, they did not notify me), Valley-Wide also claimed they would send me a Declaration stating that they had attempted service. I called 4-5 times throughout February and they indicated the Declaration was already in the mail. Note, the last service attempt they have listed is February 25, which is weeks after they told me I should expect the Declaration. That means that 2-3 times I called, I was deliberately lied to about the status of service. Finally, three days before the hearing to which the affidavit relates, I called again and they agreed to email me the Declaration because mailing had been so "unsuccessful". When I received said Declaration, is was messy, not scanned straight, and included several typos. I will not use Valley-Wide again. read more

No follow up communication from this company at all. They give you no feedback of the "attempts" of the party served. You email them, do not answer the phone after hours nor give you any info regarding the attempts made yet glady take your money. Having to hire a real process server. This company is a joke. Why must I hunt them down to find out the situation results. Don't bother with these bozos. read more

DO NOT USE... I REPEAT... DO NOT USE. I do not like writing reviews, but I feel it is necessary to prevent anyone from getting denied on a motion or missing any time-sensitive deadlines. I helped my mother file a garnishment and she found out that her usual process server had undergone surgery, so I advised her to shop around on google because the courier we use is on a larger scale. My mother found this company and told them that she needs a 24-48 service and they assured her that they would complete her service within 48 hours. They told her to meet them at what looked like their residential house and told her to wait outside. They tried charging her $125 to drop documents off at the bank. She said that was way higher than any other quotes, especially considering she already filed with the court and only needed a bank run. The woman then agreed to $75 - HUSTLERS! One week later, I told my mother to make sure they filed her affidavit of service and provide a copy to her. When she called, the woman was very rude and told her that it's a "process," hence "process service," when explaining why they didn't serve the documents when they had promised. My mother called and told me that she is very confused and didn't feel comfortable with the information provided to her from this company. I am a paralegal and also a law student; therefore, I am very aware of how the "process" works and decided to call the company myself. I asked the woman for an eta for the affidavit of service and she informed me that it was filled out and needs a signature from the process server. I found this odd considering the process servicer would be the only one who could fill out the affidavit of the events leading to the service. Why would he fill it out and not sign it? She assured me that the signature would be added that evening. I figured that they just put my mother off and by receiving the two phone calls from us that day, I assumed that they would get the affidavit to us. Five days later, we received nothing. I called her back and she must not have remembered me, because when I asked about when we would be receiving the affidavit, she replied with the same answer from five days prior! She said there was some errors on the affidavit and needed revision - WHAT?!!!!!!!! Were they drafting a Motion for us? What kind of revisions would an affidavit of service need that would take eight days?! So this must be the "process" in which my mother was informed of!!! I told her that I will not accept that answer and I expect the affidavit emailed to me by COB that day and gave her my email address. She emailed me within ten minutes with the affidavit of service and ensured that it was sent to the court for filing. Were the documents served? Yes. Were they served within the time frame promised? No. Clearly, this business is not to be trusted for deadline purposes and the pricing is ridiculous for having to go to them. You probably have a 95% chance of a more pleasant experience with a different company. read more

The service from this process server is probably the worst I have ever experienced in having somebody served. I gave them the exact address of where this individual lives. They went to her house five times around the same time of day when they knew she was not going to be home. I paid an additional fee for a second address to where she works Monday through Friday 9 to 5. They have yet to serve her after four days. I could've easily walked in there four days ago and served her myself. These guys are about as useless as it comes. They are only into collecting your money and not giving you the service that you paid for. ADDENDUM- - paid for a second address where this individual works. Her car is at this business M-F 9a-5P - After four days, I was told "they are out serving her now" - Have yet to hear back from them.ADDENDUM-- found out that she was served on the 23rd of this month which makes it Tuesday. Why did they tell me on Thursday that they are out serving her now? Now that I been told that she has been served, I'm waiting for the paperwork stating that they served her which I have yet to receive nearly a week later. read more
