There were two guys who helped me with my van: one guy checked my transmission fluid noticed it was low directed me to the oil change side the guy helped me put fluid back in and checked it again for me. Between the both of them they were professional and kind. I asked if I could pay they refused. Good no GREAT guys! Unfortunately my transmission did go out, but if I lived in Turlock I would take my vehicle there for them to repair it. Can't remember their names but thank you all so very much

We moved to Turlock 10 years ago and did quite a bit of research to find a good auto shop. We have two older vehicles that require quite a bit of maintenance. E&M is a very honest and trustworthy shop. They don't try to "oversell" and they deliver on their quotes and work. Their prices are fair and better than most. Both John and Roe have impressed us since day 1 and we will continue to bring both our vehicles here. We highly recommend them for any car maintenance you may need!

My updated review is well past due and they have helped me with quite a few big jobs since my last post. My wife has had fuel tank issues for quite a while and her own mechanic kept saying it was nothing, finally told her that I'm taking it to E&M, they correctly diagnosed and succesfully replaced it with no issues in good time and fair price. They have done other major jobs on my current truck (oil leak/gasket replacement) with no complications. They are honest, fair, communicate great, and no bullshit. I'm grateful and happy to have a reliable mechanic like them. I bring my wife's vehicles here for oil changes and other services as well as my own. I bring my moms and nieces vehicles here when needed as well.

I came on a weekday before 3 pm and there was only one car ahead of me, so it was quick. I didn't really see parking, but since you're pulling in for service it didn't seem to matter. The waiting area was nice, with a TV and a pool table. I came alone, but it would've been fun to play while waiting. The guy handling the smog was friendly and efficient, even though I didn't catch his name. Overall, good price, fast service, and I'd come back.

This is my kind of tire shop, particularly for repairs or single tire replacement…read more I had a slow leak in my Honda Civic tire and I failed at patching/plugging the tire myself it continued to have a slow leak. Recently, I made the horrendous mistake of using a can of spray sealant (popular brand name omitted here) to fix the slow leak. This stuff essentially pools up in the tire and creates an impossible-to-balance wheel/tire which vibrates heavily at over 60mph. I removed the wheel/tire at home and brought in. Within 10 minutes I was out the door with a mounted and balanced used tire (had just as much tread as the original) for a very reasonable price. Since I did the removal of the wheel myself it probably saved some expense and time for everybody. I've come to appreciate that replacing with used for passenger car tires, might be more cost effective that repairing your current tire. They seem like no-nonsense guys and appear to just work hard and get stuff done. Too often the corporate tire places charge way too much and are incentivized to up-sell you on everything. I have heard that their alignments are reasonable too, so I'll be back next time I need one.
