Our neighbor gave us the name and number for Tree North. Owner Israel was very professional and patient with us during the estimation process. We had a couple family episodes that interrupted us just as we had an estimation appointment. Even so, Israel made it work and we eventually got things estimated and scheduled. Israel gave us a professional clear written estimate for the work, which came in handy during the HOA approval process. Apparently, tree removal is something to be approved. On the day of the job, Israel's team arrived -- Alex, Ramiro, and Frank showed up on time and we carefully reviewed the work to be done. Alex left me with his cell phone number in case of any questions, and then everyone got busy. Cut, cut, cut, trim, trim, trim, grind, grind, grind -- they worked quickly and safely. Alex and Ramiro were a two-man team on the giant ladder, and Frank expertly made each limb disappear into the grinding truck. At every stage, they cleaned up carefully after themselves. At the end of the day, Alex asked us to review -- we had a few more overhanging limbs that we wanted to go away, and so back up the ladder he went! He gave a fair price, so I asked if he could do some additional work. They skillfully trimmed 8 feet off of a 20 foot tall unruly hedge, alongside the street and a gully on the edge of my property. Today they came and removed a 120 foot tall Douglas Fir tree that was leaning precariously, due to roots that had found their way above ground and rotted. The only thing holding it up was a large tree on the other side of the driveway, that the top of this tree was now leaning on. It was a complicated job to be sure. Once again I received a fair estimate/price and professional, prompt, efficient and friendly service. They have all the equipment necessary to do whatever job you need done. Highly Recommend!

They did excellent work, all piping was deeply buried, double drip lines with individual shutoffs and a new controller. They did all of this without impeding the use of the old system for cooling. The second job was mapping and overhauling the house's sprinkler system. The system is 20 years old and one of the vaults had four leaky valves. Dawn is extremely knowledgeable and was able to spot and repair problems, she recommended replacing the valves and barricaded the vault against tree root intrusion.

I hired Green Acres Landscape for a one day job to install two water lines and 12 sprinkler heads…read moreinto an existing sprinkler system. I paid half up front and waited for work to start, 3 weeks later I find they forgot to put me on their schedule. When they showed up, it was not the crew I was told would be there, just one guy with a shovel instead of power equipment. He dug some trenches 12" deep and others 3" deep. He said it was harder digging in the backyard so he only went 3" deep. He broke an existing PVC drainage line and started putting duct tape on it to fix it. I said fix it correctly and he left the job site. I called the office and they said he will be back in the morning to fix it. While I was standing there with him, in front of the broken pipe, he buried it without fixing it. I made him dig it up and fix it. When the sprinkler heads were installed and adjusted, I started the sprinkler system to test it. It watered the side of my house and my neighbors yard. He said the 25 foot ratchet heads were could not water an 8' wide yard without getting water on the house. They came out the next day and replaced the heads and tried again. They had issue after issue and moved and changed the type of head three more times. It was a total clown show. The sprinklers did not go to the property line and I had 18" of dead yard. A Relationship Manager came over and he looked at everything and said he would fix the following day, which he did. The next day everything was fixed and I was happy. The manager handed me a letter from the ladies in the office. I thought it was a gift certificate to a local restaurant for all the trouble I experienced, but it was a letter stating that they were done working on my sprinkler system and any other repairs or issues will cost me $82 an hr. It was a slap in the face and poor customer service. They turned a one day job into a nightmare without one word of regret.
