Will Byrd was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and thorough in addressing our concerns. The primary project involved installing a 7-strand steel support cable in a large Western Red Cedar that we particularly wanted to preserve. Will also removed several large dead branches from another cedar, with only one additional hour of labor charged. He reduced the quoted price for an aerial inspection of our Giant Sequoia to $500, and his crew even cut several large ivy vines from another mature cedar in our forested area at no additional charge. The crew was professional, cleaned up thoroughly afterward, and took great care around our property. Considering the size of these trees and the work involved, we felt the pricing was very reasonable. We especially appreciated Will's emphasis on preserving our mature trees whenever possible rather than recommending unnecessary removals. We would not hesitate to use Arborists of America again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for knowledgeable, professional tree care.

Late Review: We hired Apex to replace our roof, and we…read morewould give them 5 stars for the quality of the roofing work and the installation itself. The crew worked quickly, the craftsmanship appears excellent, and the finished roof looks great. During the roof replacement, however, our newly installed heat pump was damaged by debris falling from the roof. To Apex's credit, Landon took responsibility for the issue and ensured it was replaced with the same model by the same HVAC company that originally installed our system. We appreciated that they made the situation right. Unfortunately, our experience after the installation has been much less positive. Despite multiple attempts to contact Apex, we have never received our warranty information. We initially assumed the delay was related to the heat pump damage and replacement process, but the lack of communication has been frustrating. Our biggest concern is with the financing process. We financed the project through Apex's lending partner, 1st Security Bank of Washington. We recently discovered that the loan was secured by our home, meaning our property was used as collateral. At no point during the financing process did Apex disclose that this would be a secured loan or that our home would be used as collateral. We also did not receive this information from the bank in a clear or transparent manner. While we are very satisfied with the quality of the roof and appreciate that Apex addressed the damage to our heat pump, the lack of transparency surrounding the financing and the ongoing communication issues outweigh those positives. Because of these concerns, we cannot recommend Apex. Honest, upfront communication is just as important as quality workmanship, and unfortunately, that was lacking in our experience.

Brett climbed most of the trees and lowered branches before falling the tree. The equipment he utilized was ingenious and helped remove the trees that were surrounded by a large home and outbuildings.
