Hello, I hate to give a 2 star but let me explain the reason. It has nothing at all to do with the staff in the service department they are GREAT. My issue is I have been bringing my car to Jim Keim since I purchased the vehicle in 2012. I have had tires replaced, wind shield whipers, oil changes are only done there. I have had some issues along the years, leaving the oil cap off after an oil change resulting in all the oil blowing out all over the hood of my car and having to have it towed back to Jim Keim to check it out, swollen lug nuts needed replaced, took it in for over heating was told the antifreeze cap must have not been on tight, only to have to bring it back the next day cause it was over heating again, at that time the mechanic told me he advised the service department the water pump was bad when I had it in the first time, the water pump was replaced as it was still under warranty. This leads me to my last oil change 11-14-2016, again the staff is 5 stars however, I had a 5:45 appointment for the Works oil change and a recall 16B38 was told they could do both no problem. Got my car back at 7:15 went to leave the check engine light was on, it was dark out so I could not understand how the mechanic who drove the car to the parking lot did not see the check engine light shinning. SO I walked back in told the service department, they immediately went outside got in the car and said they would take it in the back and see what was wrong. After 15 minutes I was told there was a loose wire as a result of the recall being performed but when they hooked up my car they noticed my battery was bad and for $130.00 they could replace it. This made me wonder how just 15 minutes earlier when I paid for the service and looked at my paperwork it said *GRATT: GOOD BATTERY... so how in 15 minutes did it go from a GOOD BATTERY to your BATTERY IS VERY BAD. It made me wonder if the battery was even looked at during the oil change and it was only discovered I had a bad battery when they had to take the car back and hook it up to see why the check engine light was on. I don't disagree the battery is bad it I am sure is, but I did not have it changed due to it was 7:30 PM at this time and I had been there since 5:45 PM. I will have the battery replaced but I am not sure my battery was even checked during the Works package I paid for. Let me still say the staff are the nicest people around which is why I keep coming back to Jim Keim, I am just starting to believe the service is not the best. Thank you read more

Staff very friendly. However, not effective. My appt. was for Thursday. I called late afternoon to see if they had discovered what was wrong only to be told that they wouldn't look at it until Friday. Called by 9am next day to tell me a transmission fluid line replacement was going to require a full removal of lines and radiator and would be over $1000!. I said NO. Just replace the broken line. A call 2 hours later said they were having trouble getting it out and they would call me in afternoon. No more calls Friday, Saturday. I stopped by Sat. nite to find my vehicle parked outside. When I went in to see if it was finished, I was told that they couldn't get hold of the service rep. and to call back on Monday. I called Monday to find out the work hadn't been done and the rep. thought I had picked up the truck Saturday night! I gave 1 star because, after this fiasco, I was not charged for the $100 inspection fee that was to be applied to the repair. Guess if the repair isn't over $1,000, it's not worth finishing in the shop. By the way, I took it to AAA service center and had it done in one day for under $350. read more

I have brought all my cars and trucks to Jim Keim Ford to have them serviced for years and have bought 3 new cars over the last 10 years and have never had a problem until now. It took over 2 hours to have my oil changed and I had an appointment at 8:00am on a Saturday so I was one of the two cars brought in for service first. Finally at 10:20 I got my truck back. In the past it has never taken more than a hour at the longest. Then to make things worse the woman who checked me in was at the counter where you pay and actually said to me "now that didn't take to long did it". I would suggest that Roush Ford has some service dept. issues for sure. I will give them one more opportunity as I have been a customer there for a long time when it was Jim Keim. If it happens again I will have to move on to another Ford dealer for service and to buy my wife's new Ford Explorer this summer. Regards, Russ Richardson read more

I have purchased 2 used vehicles from Keim Ford since 2002. This is the first new vehicle ever purchased. I must say that dealing with the sales reps here is a refreshing experience. They are not pushy or aggressive and will certainly take the time to make double sure that you are completely satisfied. When other dealerships were not willing to budge much on price, this was not the case here. Lets face it Ford trucks are holding their value and a good deal is, right now at least, hard to come by. When a deal was reached they agreed to install the bed liner and running boards free of charge. An appointment was not necessary when the parts came in and the installation took only an hour for both on top which the service staff are very friendly(and quite humorous) I couldn't have been happier. This will not be my last vehicle purchased here. read more

I recently went in for some simple maintenance (i.e., The Works). I made an appointment and showed up on time. When I dropped off my car I was told it would be about an hour. Now the work performed was just fine, the only problem was that it took 2.5 hours to complete. The staff was very apologetic and did not charge me for the service. So the problem was I should have been told up front that there would be a significant wait, and while I was sitting out in the waiting area, someone should have told me what was going on. I am a patient man, and am willing to wait, but just be upfront about what is happening. This isn't the first time this has happened. But, as I said the work is good, people are courteous, and the waiting area is comfortable. I will continue to give them my business in the future. read more

We bought 2 cars from this dealership in less than a year. The service could not have been any better. The sales reps are knowledgeable, friendly, willing to answer any question you have and there is NO pressure. They worked with us on our terms and we were able to come to a fair price. We don't buy cars often, but will come back here if we're in the market again. Another thing I would mention is the day after I bought my Ford Fusion, I was back at the dealership to drop something off. There were not less than 6 people who came up to me and asked how I liked my new Fusion. I hadn't met any of these people previously--they just all knew I'd bought a car and were genuinely interested in how I was liking it. I love it, by the way. read more

I had the best experience when looking for a new vehicle last week and thought I would share it on here. I purchased a 2015 Explorer and can't say enough about the entire process from beginning to end. It was seamless! I received exactly what I was looking for and didn't have to haggle or negotiate. I provided my search criteria and was then provided a few options showing exactly what I had asked for. Nothing less and nothing more. Holly Ring and her staff were most helpful in getting all of the paperwork together and making sure when I came in, everything was ready to go. I was in and out in a half hour total. The staff was knowledgeable and professional and I would definitely take my business back to Jim Keim again! read more

I just purchased my new F150 - it was such an easy process and they make you feel like family - my total time from deciding what I wanted to the time I drove off the lot with my new truck was 2 1/2 hours, everyone was so friendly and helpful in everyway, I will recommend them to friends and family. Please let them walk you through the easy process of buying a new or used vehicle. I had been here before to get my keys replaced and had not dealt with any other part of the facility, when I arrived without an appointment, they got me right in changed out my keys and out the door in under an hour - as I stated, everyone there is very helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you everyone for making this experience go so smooth. read more

Shopping at Roush Ford was the best new car purchase experience to date. Blake Foutty was excellent in dealing with a delivery hold issue on the 2017 F250. He was on top of all related communication and status of part availability. He, as a sales associate, demonstrated full product knowledge, astute to the needs of the customer, and fully prepared upon the vehicle delivery date and time. There was not any wasted time sitting at the dealer. The other associates were polite, hospitable, and very accommodating. Ken and Jason in finance are well educated in their prospective areas. I passed several other GM, Chrysler and Ford dealers from Dayton to Columbus to shop at Roush Ford. The people make the difference. They Care. read more

I recently bought a car at Jim Keim's and had a good experience. I found the car online and found their internet sales team to be responsive to inquiries while not being overbearing. I dealt mostly with Jerry Stierhoff and enjoyed my experience. He had the car I was interested in ready to go when I arrived at the dealership; he offered a fair price on the car and on my trade-in. (I had shopped around for a while and they matched the highest price I had been offered for my trade-in.) I also arranged my financing through them and they were able to provide several competetive quotes and close the deal quickly and right in their offices. My wife and I were in and out in about two hours and have been enjoying the car. read more

I scheduled an oil change over 2 successive weeks on my Ford Escape and my Honda Pilot and had vastly different experiences at the dealerships. At Jim Keim Ford, it took over 2.5 hours to complete my oil change and may have been longer if I did not walk out to the Service Desk to inquire on the status of my car. The staff is always friendly. The cost of the service was $45 and did not include a car wash. At Hugh White Honda, it took less than 1.0 hour to complete my oil change which included checking my fluid levels, tires etc. and washing my car and the cost of the service was $37. I feel Keim has some room for improvement based upon my consistent service experience at other dealerships. Tom T. read more

I have been dealing exclusively with Jim Keim Ford for almost a quarter of a century. More specifically, I've been dealing with Kevin Martin for that length of time. Ford is, in my estimation, the top of the line in motor vehicles, so I could deal with any Ford Motor Company dealership in Central Ohio, but I deal with Jim Keim because of Kevin. Kevin gives it to me straight. There is no hustle in Kevin. He knows his product inside and out and explains everything expertly...no hype, no hyperbole, no bull. When Kevin speaks, I listen. Of course I love the product, Ford is a great car and company, but I come back again and again for Kevin Martin's expertise, honesty, and friendship! read more

I was shopping for my second used car in a year and had visited multiple dealerships. I was frustrated because it seemed like the salesmen I spoke to weren't really interested in selling me a car. They would pull up the specific vehicle I inquired about and that was it. If it wasn't right for me, there was zero effort to find something else that would fit my needs. Then I found Mike P. Went to Jim Keim to look at a vehicle I had seen on the internet, Mike met us outside, in the rain, brought us an umbrella and showed us what he had, He asked questions and listened to the answers. He followed up. I would definitely look there first next time I am in the market. read more

I'm a very busy person and my husband is retired. I ask my husband to find me an SUV. We have always been a ford family. I own a 2011 Exployer with 36000 miles and gave it to my daughter. The new exployer has a more manly look to it. So my husband went to Jim Keim Ford and worked with Mr. Prater and found me an 2017 Expedition that I absolutely LOVE ! This has been the 3rd car that we have bought from Jim Keim Ford. Each time I wonder how they will out do themselves. Mr. Prater was outstanding at his job. I not only bought a beautiful car, but now my husband and I have a great friend. read more

Me and my wife were in need of a bigger car and I couldn't thank Jim Keim enough for the deal they gave us. Me and my wife spent countless hours dealing with other Columbus area ford dealership with no deal and coming away disappointed. We also just thought about giving up our search for the meantime. Then we went to Jim Keim as a last resort. Bob and Jerry work with us to get us to the price point we wanted with our new 2015 Explorer XLT and gave us a fair price on our trade in. Thank you guys for not only the great deal but on the car we always wanted all along. :) read more

The service department is amazing! We were driving from Philadelphia to Denver last Friday when our F250 started acting up. We called a couple of other dealerships but they weren't able to get us in. We contacted Roush and they not only were able to diagnose and fix the problem, but they did it quickly as they knew we had a long drive ahead of us. We appreciate everything they did to make what could have been a horrible situation, one of the more pleasant parts of our trip. Kudos to your service department and kudos to Jack and Cullen who took care of us!!!! read more

I recently had the pleasure of working with Austin at Valley Ford, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the service I received. Austin has consistently provided exceptional service and kindness. He helped get my vehicle in promptly and has always been supportive and understanding. His efforts have made a significant difference, and I truly appreciate the positive experience he provides every time. It's clear that Austin goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. I highly recommend his services to anyone in need of reliable and friendly assistance. read more

I love Jim Keim Ford and their service staff!! Travis (Nukes) is the primary service specialist that I deal with. He is wonderfully kind-always greets me with a smile! Being a female, sometimes, it is hard to trust the folks who are recommending service on your vehicle but I have never felt like they were recommending anything to me to be repaired/replaced that wasn't 100% necessary. I am hopeful that with the buyout that recently took place, that the new management will have enough sense to keep ALL the amazing staff that is in place that I know and trust! read more

Derek was awesome to work with. My husband wanted to drive 3 cars the day we came...for comparison sake, and Derek patiently obliged. He was professional and courteous throughout the car buying process. He also had a great sense of humor and knew his stuff. If he didn't know the answer to something, he said so, which we appreciated, and would get the answers we needed. When we decided on the car we wanted and all the specifics, he found exactly what we wanted. I would recommend him and keim to anyone! read more
