Dr Pryor and Jocelyn are the best ever!!! I was suffering with sinus disease and chronic headaches. Dr Pryor was always very kind, gentle and always throughly explained everything to me; I never felt rushed by him or his staff. When ever I had questions or concerns Jocelyn was always there to help me too. I Have gone to other ENT doctors in the area and they don't compare to the care and treatment I received with Dr Pryor, Jocelyn and Valley ENT. I had surgery for chronic sinus disease, including rhinoplasty and no longer suffer every day, I love my new nose and look very natural. I was not surprised to read other reviews saying doctors are great but office staff is terrible. They truly are. It is impossible to get a referral from them. I had an office visit to get a referral- which should have been enough. I had to call 6 more times. I currently am waiting for another call back for over a week, which I am confident will never come. No response to emails. If you schedule a surgery with them, they will change your surgery time numerous times and never let you know. I was in the surgery center watching people miss their surgeries or come in hours earlier like I did because we were never told our surgeries got moved. Doctors are kind and knowledgeable. I wanted to give a review for Dr. Yvonne Richardson from Valley ENT in Chandler My 23 year old daughter had her tonsils removed and there was a lot of anxiety and nervousness around the procedure. Of course, as an adult, we always hear how difficult and painful it is. But when someone truly needs it done, go to Dr. Richardson! She is a true professional. From the initial meeting, she explained everything that would be done before, during and after the surgery. She did it with clarity, compassion, and a level of professionalism that one would look for in a surgeon The surgery was performed at Dignity Health Arizona Specialty Surgery Center in Chandler. Shout out to: intake coordinator Sierra, nurses Jaimee, Lisa and Kimberly, Dr. Jen Elliott anesthesiologist and of course Dr. Richardson! I can't say enough about how well we were treated! Post surgery we followed instructions to the T and whenever we had a question we called Melissa, Dr. Richard's MA and she was five stars. She was patient, responsive, and very knowledgeable, Then add in all the smiles and positive support... This team made a somewhat unpleasant situation way better! read more

Doctors are great. Office staff is the worst, the manager Lynn is awful to deal with. I had an issue and left over five messages over a month and she never once called me back over insurance issue. Was in the office finally and she assured me that everything was going to be fine and that we would not owe anything. Now they are holding a deposit for a totally separate surgery, telling me they can't refund it (even though there is no balance for the surgery) because of pending claim (the one I had been assured was taken care of from June)the office manager is so incredibly rude and will avoid taking calls lying saying she in on lunch.. I've called multiple days at different times of day and she literally is somehow always unavailable and never calls back . I would avoid this office at all costs honestly and find someplace where they actually care about treating patients correctly. read more

This is place is a joke. They want you to pay up front instead of using your insurance. I called my healthcare provider Humana and they stated yes we will pay for that procedure but no Valley ENT stated no you need to pay. The staff at Valley ENT were great, Dr. Ossoff was a different experience. We were referred to them by our pediatrician, but will them know about this experience. It took a lot for my family to make this appointment today, and Dr. Ossoff was dismissive, unprofessional and resistant to providing quality care for us. His bedside manner is appalling and I am so incredibly disappointed by his lack of respect in patient care. If you're looking for someone to care for your kiddos or be compassionate to your family, this guy is not it. read more

Visited Valley ENT and Dr Kaczor in March 2025. Explained to three different people in the office including Dr. Kaczor that I had scheduled the visit to address 3 separate minor issues and listed them in order of importance. Items 1 and 2 were ignored and I was give a prescription to treat item 3. I was then asked if I would be interested in learning more about the Inspire implant device to treat sleep apnea which I do have but is not one of the things I visited this office for. I signed a release to get my records from a sleep study I had done elsewhere so I could get a second opinion from Dr. Kaczors office. It is now 4 months later and the prescription I was given did nothing and I have left multiple emails and voicemails and never heard back regarding the sleep study. Of course I received an invoice for my visit to which I wrote two very polite and professional letters to the office manager explaining my displeasure with their care and customer service - all with no response. I finally received a reply letter this week stating that they take communication very seriously but yet gave me no explanation why they did not follow up with the sleep study. I requested that the bill be reduced or forgiven considering nothing was accomplished and they refused. One of the most imcompetent medical office visits I've ever had. read more

I scheduled an appointment with this office three weeks ago. I just received an automated message from their office confirming the wrong date and time. I called the office and their records show someone on their team cancelled my original appointment and rescheduled me without ever contacting me. Since the new time does not work, I asked to reschedule and they want me to wait an additional three weeks to be seen. This is not a reasonable way to handle medical appointments. read more

As a fellow healthcare professional, I was deeply disappointed in my experience at Valley ENT. I had an appointment with Dr. Kaczor. She only spent 3 minutes examining me and was very dismissive. She reported she couldn't see my tonsils and didn't appear to care about my concerns nor discomfort. She was quick to write me a prescription for an antibiotic and left the room without even saying goodbye. I had to find the nurse to confirm my appointment was over. No follow-up care was offered and I left not even knowing what exact medications had been prescribed. My experience was disheartening and left me very concerned. My hope is that this review will save someone else from a poor experience. read more

I never leave reviews. As a professional I am appalled at the culture of this office. I was referred to Dr. Kelsch by my primary doc. The front desk staff was dismissive and worried about finishing their chat session and laughing before greeting me and checking me in. The pre-check nurse was short and clipped in her questions. Dr Kelsch was even worse. He came into the room and moved through his assessment and recommendations in 15 minutes. He was not interested in listening to what my symptoms were, what medical tests I have had done previously and never explained his reasons for the tests he wanted to run. He was excessive in his assessment and throwing so much at me that at one point when I became frustrated he suggested I needed to see neurology because he "could tell I was getting upset". I reviewed his 10+ tests with my primary Dr. who agreed the testing recommended was excessive. We agreed on a path of treatment, tackling one at a time in the order of what it most likely is. My invoice for that 15 minute session was $668. If I moved forward with blood tests, CT, MRI, speech pathologist, and voice therapy, who knows. I tried to pay my invoice multiple times over several weeks but their online payment system is broken. I had to call in to make payment. The person taking my payment was dismissive and said they put in a ticket and its out their control. This place has a culture of disrespect that starts at the top and continues down through the staff. read more

Picked a time for todays date and filled out everything. Went to the appointment an hour later across town 30 minute drive and they said no the appointment is for next week, a date that evidently got automatically put in. They said no we can't get you in now. My granddaughter was in very noticeable distress with her not getting a breath due to VCD, but they didn't car and they were very rude. The gal said do you want you next week appointment and we said no and she rolled her eyes at us. Hopefully the doctors are better then their desk receptionist. read more

Avoid at all cost. They have now canceled my appointment twice with no regard for patient health. They are extremely hard to get an appointment with. When you do it months out. They have since called and said the doctor cant see me and reschedule the appointment twice. My first call To make an appointment was in February it is now May 24th and they now want to reschedule for June 30th. With no care as to patient health. As a senior on Medicare I was turned away (told earliest appointment was 3 1/2 months for Medicare patients) I am suffering right now and need to see a doctor. I worked my entire life and paid my taxes, so once I finally retired I expected some respect for all I gave through the years. I am more than disappointed to be treated this way when I needed help. We have been a patient of Doctor Hurley's and Valley ENT for several years--both of our daughters were patients and needed ear tubes, several checkups, and ear eventually tube removal. I never waited less than 45 minutes before a scheduled appointment. Often, I could not get in for at least two months, even in a desperate situation, so I reverted to our pediatrician for much-needed care rather than waiting. When I finally saw Dr. Hurley, he never apologized for the wait, barely gave my concerns a thoughtful explanation, leading to unsatisfactory analysis and advice. On the occasion I came in concerned about my children and their procedure, I felt that I was made to feel silly for my worry and was and rebuffed. We paid our bill for an ear tube removal procedure and then received 10 or more recurring bills within the same week for the procedure in the mail for, though we had closed out our account. I have never, in all the pediatric appointments and specialty appointments, waited so long to see a doctor and then feel so short-changed for the advice and analysis. Vet your ENT--this is not the place to go for sincere care and customer service. read more

Ok... so I think Dr. Kelsch is phenomenal! I had sinus surgery in December and he did an excellent job. However, I'm giving this rating because I am beyond pissed off with his front office staff and I will NOT be going back to his clinic ever again after today. I had read previous reviews about the attitudes and ways his staff functions, but I thought maybe it was just one or two bad experiences people had that really weren't indicative of the real experience. I should have heeded the warning. First, after my follow-up visit in December, I blew off the post-appointment interaction with the front desk receptionist after she was rudely trying to force me to find a date for my next visit; but I was still under a fairly heavy burden of anesthesia and pain meds. That treatment I didn't deserve, so I just decided not to reschedule my appointment at the time. Until today, I had not been back, but I know how critical these follow-up appointments are for the success of the surgery. Thus, I finally scheduled today's appointment. As I was sitting in the lobby, I overheard another patient getting frustrated with the front desk staff because they failed to tell her about the additional charges she would incur coming to see Dr. Kelsch as a new patient. I honestly felt bad for her, because they were openly discussing her personal information for the whole waiting room to hear. Little did I know... this is common practice. I was called up, thinking it was time for me to see Dr. Kelsch or paying the co-pay for my current appointment. The admin. responsible for billing says, "I need to collect your co-pay." Thinking this is routine, I started to pull out my wallet. She says, "you owe us $438 from your surgery in December and we need to collect that payment today." Now I have ZERO issues with paying my bill and could have easily paid the bill right then. What I was pissed about is they knew the bill existed before I even arrived in the clinic (I literally set the appointment less than a week ago). She continued to tell me (in-front of the whole waiting room), "you knew you had this responsibility before you even had the surgery. So this isn't a new bill." This office has a tactic that is unbecoming and embarrassing. At any point before the appointment or when I received a reminder call 2-days ago, they could have told me to expect the bill when I arrived. However, she did it to put the patient on the spot to force the patient to pay the bill before being able to see Dr. Kelsch. And when I told her I would pay the bill but it wasn't going to be today, she refused to allow me to see Dr. Kelsch until the payment was made. I effectively cancelled my appointment on the spot and left. I will not be forcibly embarrassed and made to feel like I'm trying to neglect an obligation in-front of a waiting room of people who didn't even know me. Had I not just seen them do the same thing to the woman before me, I may have felt like this was an isolated scenario that was just tactless. But this is a practice the office has gotten good at. In a day and time when private clinics and hospitals are struggling to collect billable services, you would think they'd have a little more decorum to work with patients who are actually willing and capable of paying a petty $438 bill for a surgery I've felt grateful for. Additionally, you never know who you're dealing with, and I just happen to be a senior administrator in a health care system that understands they also violated my HIPAA privacy by discussing any element of my patient file or profile openly for others to hear. This experience was ridiculous and I will not be returning to see Dr. Kelsch, PERIOD. read more

I just walked out with my medical records. I have never experienced lack of consideration for patience and their time. I sat in the office for 45 minutes (35 minutes after my booked appointment time) and when I asked how much longer the gal behind the counter replied with "at least another 20 minutes". This appointment was the 3rd time I was rescheduled by them!! When the front desk gal attempted to reschedule me for the 4th time she actually told me to call before I leave to make sure Dr. Heiland was not behind schedule again. My conclusion is that we the consumer/ patient are not their priority! Our time is not more important than theirs! I walked out with my records and I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!!! Horrible... I had a deviated septum repaired, as well as nasal polyps removed. Dr Kelsch did a really good job of preparing me for surgery and explaining everything I could expect post-surgery. Prior to surgery we tried some medications to see if we could get the polyps to go away, but that didn't work, so we were left with surgery. I never felt Dr Kelsch was trying to force surgery on me. I always felt he was honest in his assessment of my nasal issues. My only recommendation to patients is to be sure and check ahead of time how much an office visit and any procedures might cost. Depending on your insurance, you might be surprised how much you spend out of pocket if you have yet to reach your deductible. read more

Ryan M. Rehl, MD is a miracle worker. I suffered for 38 years unable to breath through one side of my nose due to a broken septum. In three hours Dr. Rehl restored my ability to breath by restructuring my septum, reduced the size of my sinus turbinates all without bruising and scarring my face. Dr. Kelsch is the Doctors' Doctor! The first of 2 surgeries completed (first one done 2/24), and the before and after difference with breathing through my nose - AMAZING! Dr. Kelsch tells you right from the start wether you're an good canidate for whatever procedure you'll be getting done. Finding an ENT that gets to the point, and doesn't try to gouge onces pocketbook or insurance for that matter, it's refreshing!! Oh how I wish I would have found Dr. Kelsch and Valley ENT LAST YEAR!! Definitely do not go to this clinic. They will lie about what you owe for a visit and then send you a new bill 2 months later. I went in for a new patient visit, and they charged over $400. After speaking with their billing department they admitted to telling me I would only $50 for the visit. Then said I guess its our reps fault. Then their office manager assistant told me next time I should check on my own after she stated we never know what codes the doctor will use for new patients. This place is a joke! Do not go to the Northwest Valley ENT. It takes 2 months to even get an appointment. On your Appointment Day they tell you to get there 20 minutes prior, so you can wait in a crowded waiting room. I had a death in my family, and asked Desiree politely how long do you think the wait is. She just snapped back rudely that she has not idea. I again politely asked her for an estimated wait time and she said when she had time she would check for me. After waiting there an hour I had to leave, so I approached the desk and told her I had another appointment across town...she said so do you want to cancel. Yes! My mom died and I had an appointment at the funeral home in 45 minutes. One of the rudest receptionists I have ever encountered. It should have been a clue when they have a signed posted at the check in window asking patients not yell or throw things at the receptionist. WTF. I never did yell or throw things, but I can understand why someone would want to. I would have cancelled the appointment due to the death in my family, but it took two months to get, then I wasted an hour sitting in the crowded lobby. If she would have given a clue it would be over an hour wait time, I would have politely said thank you I will reschedule. read more

We are so thankful for Dr. Kelsch! My baby girl who is 9 years old had suffered for not being able to breathe properly for 5 years. We were introduced to Dr. Kelsch and that's when my daughters life changed forever. The surgery went well, she healed in no time and in those 5 years, this was the first time she stopped snoring and was breathing from her nose and not her mouth! Dr. Kelsch is kind and patient. The receptionist Jennifer is one of the rudest persons I have ever spoke with over the phone and met. Trying to schedule an appt with her was one of the hardest things I ever had to do, and when I arrived for my first appt and was patiently waiting in the waiting room and listening to her speak to other patients I knew it wasn't just me that has encountered her rude behavior. I caught her rolling her eyes as a client walked away from the desk and sat down. I think they need to hire more professional people if they want to keep patients. Horrible office help, left a message as instructed and never received a call back. Was on hold for 15 minuites 5 days later then transferred to a voicemail that was full. Put back on hold for another 15 minutes only to be told they never received my first message. I just needed help with a bad reaction to meds prescribed. I lost 30 minutes of time at work to get nothing solved. Also, paid for my visit due to no insurance and then received a bill and was told they didn't know what the fees would be, over $600. I had a horrible experience after initially having a positive impression of the office and the assistants. More importantly I found Dr. Heiland painfully condescending and repetitive. I came in with bells palsy / Ramsey Hunt syndrome and he made me feel recovery was hopeless. Dr. Shah and her assistant Susan are very amazing and pleasant. Susan is very knowledgeable in her filed of work and answered every question I had with confidence. Dr. Shah unlike other providers I have seen was not in a rush to get to the next patient, she made sure all my questions were answered and that I fully under stood my plan of care. Dr. Shah is the kind of provider that spends time with her patients, she is very compassionate, clear, and did not make me feel like I was taking her time. As I call them the Shah Susan team, these two individuals I would highly recommend to anyone who is in need of any type of ENT services. Dr. Timothy Kelsch has been my ENT doctor for 1.5 years. I was diagnosed with papillary carcinoma (thyroid cancer) and Dr. Kelsch fixed me right up.
