I CAN BREATHE THROUGH MY NOSE! Dr Lee did an amazing job. I just finished the procedure and I can I can breathe through both sides of my nose.. Right now I'm in the stage where my throat is numb from the numbing medicine causing strange, swallowing, but swallowing fine nonetheless. Day 2: In addition to getting Afrin and sinus rinse, be SURE to get popsicles! Popsicles are lifesaver for the throat the first couple of days!!! Today my sinuses are kind of swollen so it's hard to breathe through my sinuses, but I was expecting that. Day 3: just woke up to take some Tylenol and I am not in pain, but the biggest news for me is that I can breathe through both sides of my sinuses, and the majority of the swelling is gone!!! Forgot to take the steroids this morning and my other antibiotics so I'm a little stuffy today, but still feeling really good !!! Day 8: Every day is a little bit better than the day before, and I am sounding less "sinusy". Just did my evening, sinus rinse and had quite a bit of debris come out of my left sinus cavity under my cheekbone. Incompetent office staff. Gave me the wrong appointment date. Drove in during rush hour and told me your appointment isn't till end of the week. I told the receptionist that isn't what the scheduler told me and she proceeded to laugh and said there are three of us so don't know who told you that. She continued to not acknowledge me and worked on her computer. I will not be returning and Dr. LEE needs to have some training with his staff since they can't evidentially do there jobs. read more

I wanted to do an appointment with doctor Brian G. Lee and also to buy some hearing aid. But after talking with the reception, I decided never to contact this organization. This impudent girl was so rude that her manners could only be compared to vulgar language. And when I wanted to ask the next question, she simply hung up. I went to Dr. Lee because I wanted to know what I should do about my snoring. I made an appointment through Zocdoc which was confirmed then the office rescheduled my appointment. No big deal. I went to my appointment and he suggested that I do a home sleep test. They referred me to a location in Chandler. I picked up the stuff and did the test. The office called me to make an appointment for the results. I asked if they could provide the results over the phone and they said no. Fine, so I came in and the doc told me that I didn't have apnea. That's a co-pay of $55 for a specialist. Seriously, he couldn't tell me that on the phone. So all in all, I paid 2 co-pays for the 2 office visits in addition to the cost of the sleep study that I paid a little under $200. I would suggest you guys skip this doctor and the office. read more

When I initially made the appointment, I stressed on the complexity of my situation. I have chronic bilateral mastoiditis, debilitating tinnitus, hearing loss, ear tubes, and a LOT of ear pain. A hearing test was scheduled along with seeing Dr. Lee. Step through time to yesterday where I had my appointment. I clearly reiterated all my concerns to the nurse. Enter Dr. Lee who spent an entire 45 seconds with me. He quickly peaked into each ear, announced my ears looked fine, blamed everything on allergies and left. No hearing test, no discussion of my tinnitus. To be more specific, nothing took place. I am writing this at 5:00 the following morning since the ear pain continually interferes with any attempt to sleep. IF you have issues with your ears and need a caring doctor, this is NOT the place. It was a waste of time and money which I'm still paying for. I told everyone there what my problem was. They said they could fix my issues so I had the procedure where they open up your nasal passages. After my problem still was there they told me that I didn't need to come back anymore because they couldn't help me anymore. It took me a month to get an appointment for my girlfriend. Our first red flag was the staff. Their unwillingness to work with our schedule and the downright rude tone the scheduler took with me. My girlfriend had past good experiences with this practice so we were happy when we were finally able to get an appointment. I had never been before and I accidentally parked us in a nearby building. Despite the temperature, my girlfriend walked the remaining distance in case parking was tight and to ensure she was on time. When she arrived, she sat down waiting to be seen. The front desk staff was processing her new patient paperwork as it had been over three years since she had seen the doctor there. We waited patiently as everyone else was called back and the receptionist returned my gf's paperwork to her page by page claiming it was "incomplete". The only part, to my knowledge,my girlfriend left off was the pharmacy as we came from out of town and were unsure if she was prescribed any medication if she would want to use a closer location to where we were staying. The receptionist said it had to be filled in by her system. We told her we could look up the nearest one to us, but after seeing that walk in patients and every other patient in the waiting area was seen we decided to leave. We were told they did not accept walk in patients when we called about an appointment a month before. After spending over 45 minutes waiting to be seen and the receptionist clearly stalling to let every other patient have priority, we had had enough and left. read more

I found Dr. Lee on Yelp. I waited a week to get in, even though my symptoms were painful enough to warrant an urgent care visit between the time I made the appointment and the time of the appt. But - I wanted to see a specialist to resolve the issue for good. So, I waited the week. I arrived 20 minutes early as requested. I have all of my paperwork filled out ahead of time. I hand it all over, and then happen to ask the receptionist if they accept my secondary insurance. I just received the card for my secondary insurance in the mail a couple days prior and I figured I'd just ask. She informs me they don't accept it, and I say that's fine - no worries. I sit back down. Five minutes later she calls me into the back to tell me that because they don't accept my secondary insurance, she has to cancel my appointment. What? I'm confused. I ask her to repeat it. This makes no sense. I will pay my $30 copay from my primary insurance. I have no issues with that. She not-so-kindly informs me again they are canceling my appointment. Did I mention I live in Gilbert and drove all the way here just for this? She offers to let me speak to the business manager. But then informs me that she's on the phone and has another person waiting to see her as well, so it could be a while. At this point, I was beyond livid so I left. Found another ENT on Yelp and made an appointment with them instead. Too bad. read more

I go back and forth from the east coast to Arizona frequently and hands down they are the best. I would rather see Dr. Lee and Alicia than my EN&T on the east coast. From reading his reviews, Dr. Lee has a great reputation for handling patients as an ENT. Congrats! However, when it comes to managing a bad situation which occurred in his own business, he failed to meet an ethical and moral mark! Never having met Dr. Lee, I had gone to his audiologist, Mary Meyers. She gave me hearing aids that were to be on a trial basis. I asked many times how much they would cost and was told not to worry about it because my insurance would cover it and she'd give me a good deal on them. Not only was it not up to her to make those final decisions, the hearing test that she gave me showed that I needed two hearing aids, when in fact, according to my own ENT, I needed only one aid and something called a cross-over device instead - which was much less expensive. Ms. Meyers gave me the aids at a much lower price because they were demo's and said billing wouldn't be a problem and it would cost me nothing out of pocket. She also mentioned that she'd be able to include the needed accessories as well for no out-of-pocket cost. Well things didn't quite go that way when Dr. Lee got involved. He wanted me to pay a significant balance for the hearing aids that were already mine and which I'd been wearing for several months. Either that, or he wanted them back. Somehow my 'demo' hearing aids surprisingly became reclassified as 'new' hearing aids. After doing my research, I learned that the markup on hearing aids is incredibly ridiculous! - like 3000%. To manufacture them costs under $100 and then someone justifies them to be sold for $3000-$3500. The only temporary peace of mind that I'd received during this entire process was from his office manager Tami. She realized the injustice of what happened and tried her hardest to correct the situation. Tami actually figured out a great way to resolve the issue and not only have me keep the hearing aids but get the accessories by billing my insurance again. After they received the extra money, Dr. Lee still refused to issue me the needed accessories. Shame on you Dr. Lee! For as much money as your practice brings in, to be so cheap, unkind, and have such poor patient service, is rather sad. You may have reprimanded your audiologist to no longer make decisions on your behalf, but she still works for you and I'm left without the needed accessories to hear correctly, while you collected the insurance money for them. Thank You Tami for doing your best to try and resolved a bad situation. After watching you make many attempts over the course of 6 months to appeal to Dr. Lee's good nature, you failed to resolve this situation. Maybe working for another ENT might be in the cards for you. In closing, I can say that although I don't have any personal experience with him as my ENT, Dr. Lee may be kind and caring to his patients, but a good and respectable businessman he is NOT! That alone young man is why I write this review. I would be more than happy to remove this review should you reconsider to your fair and kind senses and issue me the accessories that you've already received money for. Worst experience ever! I have had breathing problems for years, I go in to see Dr Lee and he wouldn't take the time to listen to me. He spent about 5 minutes in the room, and told me he needs to go put a camera in my nose to see whats happening. That took about 45 seconds. He failed to mention that it's considered a surgery and I was surprised to receive a bill from them for $500 for it. After he looked in my nose with the camera he said everything is fine and left. THAT WAS IT! A few years later I went to another ENT doctor he looked at my scans and said it was very obvious that I had a deviated septum and it would be impossible not to see through the camera he put up my nose. I just had a procedure with dr lee yesterday. I'm hoping it is succesful since he has horrible bedside manner. He's abrupt, spends no time with you, treats you like your a cadaver not a human. His receptionist is rude. I will say the p.a. in this office is very nice and thorough. I hope she will progress to be an e.n.t. I would have preferred her to work on me. I find him a total idiot. I won't go back after this is healed. In my experience, in the past, surgeons don't normally tend to have good bedside manner but this guy's probably one of the rudest human beings I've ever met. Would not recommend. Superficially the office staff are friendly and Dr. Lee appears knowledgeable. However, Dr. Lee's bedside manner, misleading billing policies, and antiquated office were a deal breaker for me. My story- I was referred to Dr. Lee by my primary care physician about trouble breathing through my nose. In total, Dr. Lee spent ten minutes with me, I was asked to sign a procedure waiver, and he examined my nose with an endoscope. I asked about the waiver, because it said I would be financially responsible for the procedure, and the assistant told me not to worry about it. That was my first disappointment with this office, because two months later I received a bill for a "moderate complexity visit" and a $196.86 procedure fee for the endoscope. Further, I left Dr. Lee's office feeling like I didn't gain any more information about my condition than before I had come. Later, I ran into a lot of trouble getting my records from the office due to "office policies" and the fact that none of their office is digital. I was told that they could only fax or mail me a request of records form (no email because they do not possess work email addresses), and that I would need to fax or mail it back, which I did. Once I faxed it back I received a call two days later that I would need to come in and pick up the records because they do not mail or fax records. Which leads me to believe that the office is also disorganized or not knowledgeable about their own policies, because one employee told me that they would be mailed to me and the next employee said that that was against their policy. My recommendation - find a different ENT and a different office. read more

Dr. Lee is great! I found him through ZocDoc and was seen in consult the very next day. There was next to no wait at all and he fixed a problem two other doctors failed to do over the span of a couple of months and wasting a lot of money along the way. I felt back to normal less than a week later. He was compassionate and efficient and I was able to go right back to work even though his office is a bit of a long drive for me. Hello yelp! I wanted to leave a review for the great medical professional. He has a great character and do a great job for me with a septoplasty/turnibate reduction surgery. His care in my honest college student opinion is that he cares for what he does and although quick and to the point he is there for his patients. Pretty solid staff and no problems with insurance which is always a plus. I know there are some skewed reviews on here about this physician but I think he's a great specialist to go and see. Went in for a persistent cough that has lastly many months. Dr. Lee saw me for maybe a minute and heard my complaints and then did a scope on my throat. Said it was acid reflux and prescribed a pill which didn't do anything for improving my cough. Didn't feel like he listened to my symptoms and just jumped to a conclusion as a common response. Saw Dr Lee for some nagging ear issues. My first impression of the place was that it is rather old school. Nothing that will really knock your socks off-- older furniture, etc. Loooks like every doctors office you have ever been to. However, the attentiveness from Dr Lee made the difference. I consulted with three ENT doctors prior to seeing Dr.Brian Lee, MD. All told me I needed sinus surgery in a hospital setting with general anesthesia and that I had no other options to drain my sinuses and clear the chronic sinusitis I had been dealing with for many months. I then found Dr. Lee's website describing his modern technique called "balloon sinuplasty" done in his office using local anesthesia, and immediately called for an appointment. Taylor sincerely cared about my desperation and set me up to see him in just a few days. The office was cheerful, professional, welcoming AND he was on time to see me. After his thorough explanation of the procedure and having answered all of my questions and concerns, I knew I had found the right doctor and the office I was hoping for. My PCP referred me to Dr Lee for a constant cough originating during a hospital stay. I was pleased to receive an appointment the next day. When I arrived at the office, I was asked for my copay. When I informed them I had met my out of pocket for the year and proved it by looking up my account online, my appointment time was held hostage until I paid the copay, telling me that if I didn't owe it, they would refund it after the insurance processed the claim in 45 days or so. When Dr Lee examinined me he prescribed medication for treatment, handed me the prescription and walked out of the office. I arrived 10 minutes BEFORE my appointment and was locked out of the waiting room requiring me to stand at the office door, out doors, while no less than (3) staff acknowledged me at the door and one even pointed to her watch as to say, we will let you in to wait went we see fit. A Total unprofessional doctors office. If Dr Lees attitude reflects his staff professionalism do not subject yourself to insult. I was told: we could not let you in because of HIPA regulations. After failing 2 more courses of strong antibiotics treatment for sinusitis, I decided to look into surgery. I ended up having the surgery as i was a good candidate so the results were expected to be good. He fixed a deviated septum, cleaned out all the polyps and diseased infected tissue and really opened up my sinuses. Its only been a week, but i can already feel the results which are fantastic. This is a good dr for sinus surgery. He does it all by the book too, uses multiple CT Scans, and has close monitoring for follow up after the surgery which is very important to the sucess of this surgery. If you live in Arizona and need sinus work, this is the guy you need to see... Period. I highly recommend him! read more

After calling more than 10 ENTs, I finally found one that accepted my insurance and could see me, wait...the next day! The office was easy to find, clean, spacious waiting room, and helpful front desk staff. I waited no more than 10 min, to see Dr. Lee. Despite being a new pt. Dr. Lee did not try to make me schedule another appt. to complete my procedure. I was out of office within 45 min of my appt. time with my problem resolved. I agree with all the five star reviews! A bit confused about the negative one. I've been a patient at this office since 1974 when it was run by Dr Cohen. Dr Lee joined more recently, and my experience with him was excellent! I came in to get a broken hearing aid bulb removed from my ear, and he saw me with no appointment, no wait, and at no charge. Ms Meyer, the hearing specialist has been treating my hearing loss since 2012. She is very skilled, patient, and helpful. She never rushes me when I have questions, and I always have a lot. I have never had any issues with insurance or surprise bills from this business. I highly recommend them! read more
